Corporate merch in Huatulco — Oaxaca's ecotourism Pacific

Embroidered polos, tourist gifts and uniforms for companies based in Huatulco, the Bahías de Huatulco, Santa Cruz, Tangolunda, La Crucecita and the Oaxaca–Pacific ecotourism corridor. Invoicing in MXN with 16% IVA via CFDI 4.0 (SAT), payment complement and corporate purchase order handling.

Nine bays, certified ecotourism and a planned destination

Huatulco was designed by FONATUR from the 1980s onward as a planned ecotourism destination: 35,000 protected hectares spread across nine bays (Santa Cruz, Chahué, Tangolunda, San Agustín, Cacaluta, Maguey, Órgano, Riscalillo, San Juan) and another 35,000 hectares of national parks stretching from the coast to the Sierra Madre del Sur. The Huatulco National Park protects tropical deciduous forest, coral reefs and mangroves — UNESCO recognised it as a global model of sustainable tourism in 2014.

The formal economy combines five-star resort tourism (Dreams Huatulco, Barceló, Las Brisas, Quinta Real, Secrets), the municipal seat of La Crucecita (with its Virgen de Guadalupe church, the Central Park, the artisan market, seafood restaurants and coffee and mezcal cooperatives), Santa Cruz (cruise terminal, marinas and dive centre) and Tangolunda (resort corridor with golf course). The Aeropuerto Internacional de Huatulco (IATA: HUX) takes direct flights from Mexico City, Monterrey, Tijuana, Toronto and Calgary.

Resorts, marinas and incentive groups

Tangolunda–Santa Cruz corridor resorts run 80 to 400-person incentive groups. For them we produce monogram-embroidered polos, VIP welcome kits, engraved farewell gifts with the resort logo and waiter-grade uniforms across waiter, bell and housekeeping tiers. The Santa Cruz marina runs catamarans, sailing boats and sport-fishing pangas, and the crew uses quick-dry polos and rashguard shirts.

Local tour operators — Huatulco Adventures, Coyote Aventuras, Buceo Huatulco, Iguana Head — use quick-dry polos, UV-protective caps, waterproof backpacks and gift sets with Oaxacan identity (Pluma coffee, artisanal mezcal, chocolate, melipona honey, embroidered textiles from San Juan Colorado). The EarthCheck- and Rainforest Alliance-certified ecotourism operators require merch that is consistent with the destination's environmental positioning.

Cruise terminal and port

The Santa Cruz cruise terminal receives more than 30 cruise lines during the season (November to April): Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian, Holland America, Princess, Disney. They use supervisor-grade polos for landside staff, welcome kits for crews and operation-grade safety polos. The operation depends on the arrival calendar and the boarding windows.

The Puerto de Huatulco and the Administración Portuaria Integral (API) run the Santa Cruz marina and the cargo pier. For these crews we run port supervisor-grade polos, reflective deck vests, drill shirts and navy caps. If your brief includes quantity, date and venue (Bahías, Santa Cruz, Tangolunda, La Crucecita, national park, ecotourism corridor), we'll walk through it and ground it in production.

Cooperatives, coffee, mezcal and crafts

The Oaxaca Sierra Sur — the municipalities of Pluma Hidalgo, San Miguel del Puerto, Santiago Xiacuí, Candelaria Loxicha — produces high-altitude coffee, artisanal mezcal and textile crafts. The coffee cooperatives (UNECAFE, CEPCO, Sistemas Productivos de Café) order polos for technicians and producers, operational ID sets, backpacks for trade-fair travel and gifts with regional identity. Pluma coffee beans, blends and roasted bars go out with personalised merch for cup contests and international fairs.

The COMERCAM-certified mezcal producers order polos and gifts for trade fairs, festivals and contests. The Zapotec and Chatino communities working on backstrap looms produce embroidered backpacks and gift sets for buyers in the US, Canada and Europe. We ground your brief in the reality of the Oaxaca–Pacific ecotourism corridor.

Production, shipping and delivery

Our operation covers Huatulco, the Bahías de Huatulco, La Crucecita, Santa Cruz, Tangolunda, Puerto Escondido and the Oaxaca–Pacific corridor. Production leaves our central workshop and arrives via road freight at the Puerto Escondido cargo terminal or directly to your address along the tourism corridor. Standard lead times: 10 to 15 business days for production plus 4 to 7 days for delivery in Oaxaca.

For urgent orders we keep base inventory of white polos in S to XXL, caps, backpacks and engraved tumblers with 3 to 5 business-day express turnaround. The corridor's distance from central Mexico makes advance planning essential, especially if your brief includes large quantities, multi-site delivery or invoicing to several legal entities. We'll walk through it with you and adjust the flow.

What we are not

Corp-Merch is a corporate merch, uniform and executive gift brand for businesses. We are not part of the Tangolunda corridor or FONATUR, we do not represent the resorts or local tour operators. We do not sell shirts to the general public and we have no consumer-facing retail store in Huatulco. We work exclusively on corporate purchase orders with CFDI 4.0 invoicing.
