Spring bundle: the fair of the year and the launch that matters
Mexican spring concentrates the most important B2B fair window of the year: Tianguis Turístico at its rotating venue (April, alternating between CDMX, Mérida, Acapulco and other destinations), ANTAD and Expo ANTAD in Guadalajara (April), INA PAACE Automechanika in CDMX (April), Expo Manufactura in Monterrey (March), and the spring conferences of the new fiscal year that launch products and campaigns. For corporates in hospitality, tourism, retail, automotive and manufacturing, this quarter defines the year. The spring bundle integrates launch merch, hospitality kits and operational recognition in a single production calendar.
Why spring is the critical window for Mexican merch
The fiscal year of most Mexican corporates starts in January, but the operating plan doesn't go into execution until March. It is in March when marketing and internal-communications departments confirm the campaign calendar, sales confirms regional launches, and HR confirms the recognition programs to execute in the second quarter. The convergence of those three programs in the same period is what makes spring the most dense window of the year for merch.
For hospitality and tourism, Tianguis Turístico is the most important fair on the calendar. It is the event where tour operators, travel agencies, airlines and tourist destinations close contracts for the following year. The hotels and resorts that participate do so with hospitality stands, private events for VIP clients and launch merch that travels with each executive who visits the stand. The typical kit combines corporate polo, premium notebook, engraved thermos and a local artisanal piece (Oaxacan textile, Puebla ceramic, regional sweet) in a rigid white package.
For retail and mass consumer, ANTAD and Expo ANTAD in Guadalajara concentrate the year's launches. Consumer-goods brands present their novelties, close contracts with retail chains and run point-of-sale activations that need promotional merch. The typical kit is accessible-priced, high-rotation and NOM-251 compliant for food contact when it includes an edible piece.
For automotive, INA PAACE Automechanika CDMX in April is the key aftermarket fair. Auto-parts brands, distributors and specialised workshops launch products, run training and close deals with service networks. The typical kit is technical: jacket, polo, cap, promotional tool, USB with catalog, all with NOM-006 and NOM-018 compliance.
For manufacturing, Expo Manufactura in Monterrey in March is the key sector fair. IMMEX plants, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers and industrial solutions integrators launch their offering for the year. The typical kit is operational recognition for clients and suppliers: softshell jacket, technical polo, backpack, USB with digital brochure.
Components of the spring bundle
The bundle runs in three versions: fair-launch kit (5 pieces) for teams attending as exhibitors, hospitality kit for VIP guests at the stand or event, and operational recognition kit for strategic clients and suppliers. All three versions share the thermos and the notebook, and add pieces specific to each case.

How it integrates with the corporate's spring calendar
The typical spring calendar for a Mexican corporate with fair presence starts in February with stand confirmation, defines the merch pieces in the first week of March, receives the personalised pieces in the last week of March, and runs the fair between April and May. The spring bundle is designed to operate in that window with three defined deliveries: production 4 to 5 weeks ahead of the fair, delivery 2 weeks ahead for staff and last adjustments, and express delivery 5 days ahead for additional pieces confirmed late.
For hospitality and tourism corporates, the integration with Tianguis Turístico is the most demanding. The fair typically runs 3 days with a previous day for setup and a following day for breakdown. The staff rotates between the main stand, one-to-one meeting rooms, networking cocktails and VIP client dinners. The kit must be lightweight, durable and presentable in all those contexts. That's why the softshell jacket and the premium polo are the base pieces: they look good at a cocktail, hold up under heat at an outdoor stand, and can be washed between days.
For retail corporates, the spring program is complemented by point-of-sale activations that typically start in May and extend through July. The promotional merch operates at high volume (5,000 to 50,000 pieces) with accessible-priced, fast-rotation pieces. The base kit adapts with tote bags, entry-level thermoses, stickers and wristbands delivered at the point of sale.
For manufacturing corporates, spring is also internal-audit season. The merch for strategic suppliers and clients (operational recognition) is delivered ahead of the audit so the supplier can show delivery compliance to their own client. Traceability for each piece (serial number, production date, batch) is part of the dossier we deliver.
Spring logistics at fair destinations
Tianguis Turístico changes venue each year between Mexican destinations. Recent venues include CDMX, Mérida, Acapulco, Oaxaca, Los Cabos and Riviera Maya. Spring logistics to tourist destinations has constraints the corporate should know in advance: hotel capacity saturates, courier prices rise, and fair venues have strict load/unload windows that limit the setup window.
For corporates with their own stand, we deliver the merch directly to the fair venue 24 to 48 hours before setup. The CFDI 4.0 invoice is issued at the moment of delivery with the Carta Porte 3.0 complemento when the destination is a free zone. For corporates renting space inside a partner's stand, we deliver to the partner's warehouse with written confirmation of the recipient.
For fairs in CDMX (INA PAACE, Expo Santa Fe, Centro Citibanamex, WTC), delivery happens 5 to 7 business days before the fair starts. For fairs in Guadalajara (ANTAD, Expo Guadalajara), delivery happens from our GDL workshop 3 to 5 business days before. For fairs in Monterrey (Expo Manufactura, Cintermex), delivery happens from our MTY workshop 3 to 5 business days before.
For tourist destinations of Tianguis Turístico, delivery is coordinated with the client's logistics operator or with hotel-specialist courier (iVoy, Paquetexpress with hotel service). Delivery confirmation reaches the client's marketing team with a photo of the piece and the recipient's name.
Pricing, MOQ and timelines
Pricing in MXN before 16% IVA. The fair-launch kit (5 pieces) starts at $1,580 MXN per unit from MOQ 50. In series of 200 or more pieces, the cost drops to $1,240 MXN. The hospitality kit for VIP guests (4 premium pieces) starts at $2,800 MXN from MOQ 25. The operational recognition kit for strategic clients (4 technical pieces) starts at $1,950 MXN from MOQ 30.
Production times are 14 to 18 business days for kits with full personalisation. Series above 500 pieces require 21 to 25 business days. Scheduling 5 to 6 weeks before the fair is the only way to guarantee capacity and quality. Urgent orders for last-minute additional pieces process in 7 to 10 business days with a 35% surcharge.
For corporates with a recurring spring calendar (fair every year in the same window), we run an annual contract with preferential pricing, capacity reserved in advance, and base-piece stock to respond to last-minute increases. The CFDI 4.0 invoice is issued per event with 16% IVA broken out and charged to the client's account with a 30-day line of credit.
FAQ — spring bundle
Can you deliver directly to the fair stand?
Yes. We coordinate delivery to the fair venue (Centro Citibanamex, Expo Guadalajara, Cintermex, WTC CDMX, Expo Santa Fe, Tianguis Turístico at its rotating venue) 24 to 48 hours before setup. The invoice is issued at the moment of delivery with the Carta Porte 3.0 complemento when applicable.
Does the ceramic mug comply with NOM-251?
Yes. All our ceramic carries NOM-251 compliance for food contact. The certificate is delivered with the kit when the client requires it for their internal audit or for export. Lead-free is verified in each production batch with external lab analysis.
Can you make illustrated merch with specific destinations?
Yes. For hospitality and tourism corporates, we create illustrations of specific destinations (square, monument, landscape) that get applied to mugs, polos, tote bags and notebooks. The process takes 2 to 3 additional weeks for illustration and client approval. We handle image rights for monument and facade illustrations.
How is retail promotional merchandising invoiced?
For point-of-sale activations, the CFDI 4.0 invoice is issued monthly with the consolidated count of pieces delivered per store or per retail chain. USO CFDI G03 (general expenses) when it is brand promotional, G01 when it is merchandise sold to the end consumer. We validate the specific tax treatment with the client's accounting team before the first order.
Do you handle NOM-006 compliance for the manufacturing tech kit?
Yes. The technical kit for manufacturing and automotive complies with NOM-006 (signage and personal protective equipment) and NOM-018 (harmonised system for hazard identification). We deliver the technical sheet for each piece with its applicable standard when the client requires it for their audit dossier.
Can you handle multiple legal entities in a single order?
Yes. For business groups with operating subsidiaries, we issue separate receipts per entity with 16% IVA broken out line by line. Delivery is consolidated at the central warehouse and distributed to each site with tracked courier per recipient. This is common in hospitality corporates with properties in various destinations.
