Premium bundle: the piece that stays on the client's desk
The premium bundle operates in the range where the piece is judged by what it communicates, not what it costs. It's the kit that strategic clients receive on office visits, employees in 10+ year seniority recognition, speakers and guest lecturers at corporate events, and executives who receive hospitality kits at hotels or private dinners. The pieces are curated: crystal engraved in a Tonalá workshop, leather tanned in León or San Francisco del Rincón, artisanal ceramic with NOM-251 compliance, Baja wine with private label, Oaxacan mezcal with denomination of origin, Chiapas high-altitude coffee. Each piece has full origin traceability and is delivered with personalised card and a letter signed by the managing director.
Why premium is the piece that lasts longest in the client's memory
When a strategic client receives a premium kit, what they remember is not the price of the piece but the care with which it was selected. The Tonalá ceramic mug that arrives with a card explaining it was made by the Hernández family in a 60-year-old atelier; the thermos with discreet engraving of the client's logo and the anniversary date; the leather-bound notebook with handmade paper; the Baja wine with private label delivered with a tasting note. Each element is designed so the client uses it in daily life and, in using it, remembers the moment they received it.
The Mexican corporate that runs premium typically does so at three moments of the year: the seniority recognition (5, 10, 15, 20, 25 years) delivered at a formal event with the director's speech; the hospitality kit for the strategic client on office visit or private dinner; and the closing-deal gift delivered when signing a contract with a new client or renewing an existing one. In all three cases the merch is the tangible piece that supports the relationship beyond the moment of delivery.
Another recurring category is merch for the board of directors. When the corporate holds a board meeting, the directors receive a hospitality kit at the hotel with premium pieces that represent the company. The corporate that has a quarterly board meeting typically rotates the kit content so each meeting has a new piece, keeping the director's interest without accumulating duplicates at home. That rotation requires a supplier with a broad catalogue and consistent curation — exactly where we operate.
The fourth case is merch for invited speakers or lecturers at corporate events. When the corporate organises an internal summit, sales kick-off, or annual convention, the external speakers (partner CEO, academic, professional speaker) receive a thank-you kit with premium pieces. The typical selection includes artisanal mug, premium notebook, high-end thermos, and a Mexican local product delivered as a cultural gesture.
Components of the premium bundle
The bundle runs in three versions depending on recipient: strategic-client kit (5 pieces), major-seniority-recognition kit (4 high-end pieces), and board or speaker kit (4 curated pieces). All three versions share the leather notebook and the local product, and add pieces specific to each case.

Travel set in leather tanned in León, made up of an RFID-protected cardholder for 6 cards, a dopp kit for toiletries, and a passport pouch with closure. Hand-stitched seams, cotton inner lining, YKK zippers. Black, dark brown or personalised colour per corporate dye. Low-relief engraving of the logo on each piece. Individual packaging in fabric pouch and gift box. For VIP clients who travel frequently.
Curation, origin and traceability of the pieces
The premium bundle is distinguished from the standard bundle not by the individual pieces but by the curation level in selection and by origin traceability. Each premium-bundle piece comes with a dossier explaining where it comes from, who made it, what materials were used, and what certifications it meets. For clients reporting ESG or that have a responsible-procurement policy, that dossier is as important as the piece itself.
The ceramic is selected from family workshops with Tonalá Denomination of Origin (DOT) recognition where applicable. The workshop of origin is documented with photo, artisan name and piece number. NOM-251 compliance is certified with external lab analysis measuring lead and cadmium presence in the glaze. The certificate is delivered to the client with each production batch.
The leather is selected from tanneries in León or San Francisco del Rincón with Cámara de la Industria del Calzado del Estado de Guanajuato (CICEG) certification. The tanning can be vegetable (chrome-free) or mineral (with chrome); each type has a technical sheet and environmental-impact statement. The piece is delivered with an inner label indicating tanning type and origin.
The wine is selected from Valle de Guadalupe wineries with Baja California denomination of origin. The winery is documented with the responsible winemaker, vintage year, varietal and vinification process. The private label is designed with the client and printed at a certified Tijuana or CDMX workshop. The COFEPRIS sanitary registration is attached to the piece's dossier.
The mezcal is selected from Oaxacan artisanal producers with Mezcal denomination of origin. The agave plant (espadín, tobalá, madrecuixe, arroqueño) is documented with the responsible mezcal master, community of origin and ageing time. The 750 ml or 500 ml bottle is delivered with the client's private label and an individual box with the producer's card.
Personalisation and high-end packaging
The premium bundle packaging is half the message. The rigid cardboard box lined with laminated paper or textile, with security tape, personalised card with the recipient's name, and wax seal or holographic sticker, communicates the level of care before it's even opened. For delivery at a formal event, the packaging is replaced by a wooden box with logo engraving on the lid, lined in velvet or silk.
Personalisation of pieces operates at two levels: with the client's logo (standard across all bundles) and with the recipient's name (premium and VIP only). Low-relief engraving on leather and gold or silver stamping on ceramic and crystal are done piece-by-piece at an engraving workshop, adding 7 to 10 business days to the production timeline. For series above 50 pieces with individual engraving, we run an exclusive-workshop schedule 4 to 6 weeks ahead.
The letter signed by the managing director or the board chair is delivered inside the box, in an envelope with wax seal or holographic sticker. The letter is drafted with support from the client's communications area and printed on thick paper with low-relief letterhead. For clients that require multiple versions of the letter (typical board of directors with different recipients), we handle per-recipient versions with the executive's digital signature.
The card with the origin of each piece is also included inside the box, in extended business-card format (10 x 21 cm) or square card (10 x 10 cm). The card carries a photo of the artisan, vineyard or workshop, the responsible person's name, and a QR code that leads to the client's website or a video of the production process.

FAQ — premium bundle
Can you include wine from a specific winery?
Yes. We work with wineries in Valle de Guadalupe, Valle de Ojos Negros, and other wine-growing zones of Baja California. The winery, varietal and vintage are selected with the client per availability and budget. For high-end wines (limited vintages, author labels), we require pre-selection 8 to 10 weeks ahead and a 50% down payment.
Does the Tonalá ceramic comply with NOM-251?
Yes. All ceramic in our premium catalogue carries NOM-251 compliance with external lab analysis that certifies absence of lead and cadmium in the glaze. The certificate is delivered with each production batch. For export pieces, NOM-251 compliance is documented with English translation for the destination customs.
Can you engrave the recipient's name on each piece?
Yes. Low-relief engraving on leather, gold or silver stamping on ceramic and crystal, and laser engraving on metal all operate piece-by-piece with the recipient's name. Engraving adds 7 to 10 business days to the production timeline. For series above 100 pieces with individual engraving, we run an exclusive-workshop schedule 4 to 6 weeks ahead.
Can you customise the wine label design?
Yes. The private label is designed with the client and printed at a certified Tijuana or CDMX workshop with hot stamping, relief and selective UV varnish. The design process takes 2 to 3 weeks with client approval. For series under 50 bottles, the label is printed in digital technique; for larger series, in offset with economical run.
Is the director's letter included in each piece?
Yes. The letter signed by the managing director or the board chair is delivered inside the box, in an envelope with wax seal or holographic sticker. For series with multiple recipients, we handle per-recipient versions with digital or facsimile signature. The letter is drafted with support from the client's communications area and printed on thick paper with low-relief letterhead.
Can you deliver directly to the executive's address?
Yes. We deliver to the executive's personal address with tracked courier and recipient identity verification. For deliveries to hotels or residences, we coordinate in advance with the property or with the executive's assistant. The delivery confirmation reaches the area that requested the kit with a photo of the delivered piece and the recipient's name.
