Latam Package: the Spanish-speaking Pacific corridor

The Latam package operates on the Spanish-speaking Pacific corridor: Mexico (origin of the purchase order, SAT invoicing, CFDI 4.0 compliance), Colombia (DIAN invoicing with NIT, RUT and Régimen Simple compliance when applicable), Peru (SUNAT invoicing with RUC, detracciones and percepciones compliance when applicable), Chile (SII invoicing with RUT, IVA and retención compliance when applicable). The Latam consolidation lowers the unit cost between 10 and 18 percent versus separate purchases, and allows compliance with local regulations of each country through a single operating interlocutor.

Multi-country fiscal compliance of the Pacific corridor

The Latam package operates with four simultaneous fiscal compliances: in Mexico we issue CFDI 4.0 with the foreign trade complement when the piece crosses the southern border (Guatemala) or is shipped at a Mexican port (Manzanillo, Lázaro Cárdenas, Veracruz) toward Buenaventura (Colombia), Callao (Peru) or Valparaíso (Chile). The applicable VAT rate is 0% for exports with pedimento, deduction support per article 27 of the LISR. Carta Porte 3.0 covers national transit from the plant to the port of embarkation.

In Colombia, DIAN requires electronic invoicing with the recipient's NIT, single invoicing code (CUFE) and compliance with the Régimen Simple or the ordinary regime as applicable. In Peru, SUNAT requires electronic invoicing with the recipient's RUC, detracciones and percepciones when the piece value exceeds the thresholds. In Chile, SII requires electronic invoicing with the recipient's RUT, IVA retención when applicable, and compliance with the local IVA Law rules. Corp-Merch.MX coordinates with customs agents and accounting firms in each country for simultaneous compliance.

Maritime and aerial logistics of the Pacific corridor
