How the early booking discount works
The early booking discount of the H4 package applies over the list price of the 2027 package that Corp-Merch.MX publishes on December 1 of each year. When the client signs the 2027 package contract before December 15, 2026, they receive a discount of 3 to 10 percent over the list price, depending on the chosen renewal modality. The discount is passed to the client as a real economic benefit: Corp-Merch.MX reserves plant capacity with subcontracted manufacturers before December 31, which avoids the high-season surcharge (January-March) normally passed to the client as a 5 to 8 percent increase.
The discount is applied uniformly across all fronts of the 2027 package, not on some and not others. The 2027 package invoice (issued at the start of Q1 2027) reflects the discount in a single line under the concept “Early booking discount H4 2026” with the corresponding SAT code. The client can request that the discount be applied against the first shipment of the 2027 package instead of the total invoice, which releases cash flow in the first quarter.
For corporates with purchasing policy requiring each front to be tendered separately, the H4 renewal is offered as a framework contract with four open orders (one per quarter) or two open orders (one per semester). The framework contract is valid from January 1 to December 31, 2027, with automatic renewal for 2028 if the client requests it before December 15, 2027, that is, under the same H4 mechanic.
The H4 package does not include the renewal of new fronts that the client did not contract in 2026 (such as training, sustainability, or employee experience). For those fronts, additional planning is required and quoted separately with a combination discount of 3 to 5 percent over the new front list price. Corp-Merch.MX recommends contracting new fronts in the first semester of 2027 to leverage the plant capacity available in that period.
