EU 2026 Q3 Package: the summer that covers European fairs and the August pause
The European third quarter (July to September) presents two opposing signals that Mexican IMMEX plants have learned to read precisely. On one hand, the first fortnight of July and the last of September concentrate technical fairs that the Manufacturing and Production areas treat as mandatory: Drupa Düsseldorf (9–17 September 2026 at Messe Düsseldorf, the printing and graphics fair), IFAT Munich (4–7 June 2026 at Messe München, the leading water management and recycling fair), and PlastMilano (9–13 June 2026 at Fiera Milano Rho, the main European industrial plastics fair). On the other hand, August is the operational-pause month in continental Europe: European plants close, customs work reduced shifts and logistics slow down, so deliveries to clients must be brought forward to 15 July or postponed to 1 September. The EU 2026 Q3 package covers both signals as a single piece: differentiated fair provision, anticipated logistics for the August pause, and compliance with export pedimento with Carta Porte 3.0.

Coordination with the European corporate office and the local customs broker for immediate client delivery during the pause period. The European summer vacation and operational effects on Mexican corporates
The continental European summer vacation is a well-documented operational phenomenon. Manufacturing plants in Germany, Italy, France and Spain close for three to four weeks between 1 August and 5 September, with staggered vacations by plant and team. European customs work reduced shifts, international couriers accumulate traffic and the northern European seaports (Hamburg, Rotterdam, Antwerp) close some specific docks. For Mexican IMMEX plants with European clients this means three logistical adjustments: shipments brought forward to 15 July to cover August deliveries, shipments postponed to 1 September to reopen flow, and prior communication to the European client about the Mexican pause (which is shorter and does not coincide with the European one).
The EU Q3 2026 package leverages this pattern to offer two coverage modalities. The anticipated-coverage modality ships the kit to the European corporate warehouse before 15 July with international CMR waybill and instructions letter to the local operator. The postponed-coverage modality ships the kit on 1 September with expedited air or sea transit. Both modalities operate with CFDI 4.0 invoicing in Mexican pesos, foreign-trade complement with 0% VAT rate and pedimento breakdown. For shipments with IMMEX plants that align to the European vacation period, the corporate must declare the shipment within the current quarter to maintain CBAM traceability.
Production, European logistics and Q3 trade compliance
We produce the EU Q3 2026 package in a Mexican workshop with capacity for textile, luxury box-making, metalwork and final assembly. Screen-printing is done with low-cure plastisol or water-based inks per textile; embroidery is executed with high-strength polyester threads with removable backing; laser engraving is applied on steel and aluminium with controlled depth. The shirt is labelled with size, fair code and corporate code for inventory control. Final assembly happens on a bench with packing list itemising content per kit and verification against the purchase order before dispatch.
Logistics toward the European Union operate with Carta Porte 3.0 stamped at the SAT for land transit from the Ramos Arizpe or Apodaca plant to the Nuevo Laredo or Piedras Negras border. For air shipments to Düsseldorf, Munich and Milan we operate with IATA-insured courier with piece-by-piece tracking. For consolidated sea shipments to Hamburg or Rotterdam we operate with freight forwarders in Veracruz and Manzanillo, with transit time of 18 to 22 days. The local customs broker at destination handles import clearance and local VAT with destination payment or exemption with temporary waybill.

Frequently asked questions
When is the EU Q3 2026 package confirmed?
The confirmation window closes on 15 April 2026 for IFAT Munich and PlastMilano. For Drupa Düsseldorf the window closes on 15 July 2026. For August coverage the window closes on 15 June 2026.
How do you cover the August operational pause?
We operate two modalities: anticipated coverage with shipment before 15 July to the European corporate warehouse, or postponed coverage with shipment on 1 September with expedited air or sea transit. Both modalities operate with CFDI 4.0, foreign-trade complement and pedimento breakdown.
Do you handle quarterly CBAM compliance in Q3?
Yes — we coordinate with the customs broker in Düsseldorf, Munich and Milan the issuance of the quarterly CBAM declaration in Spanish, German and Italian, stamped by the authorised expert and validated by the binational chamber. The promotional piece delivered at the fair does not trigger CBAM when its value does not exceed the thresholds.
