Corp package 73 final: the kit a Mexican corporate hands out to the volunteer who leaves the office to touch reality
The Mexican corporate operating a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme knows that volunteer hours counted in the annual report do not build impact if the volunteer arrives at the community kitchen without official t-shirt, without water bottle, without recognition they can show to their family afterwards. The Tax Administration Service authorises donees to deduct donations and the Mexican corporate takes the tax benefit. The Corp package 73 final ships a cause t-shirt with donee logo, a filtered water bottle, a light day backpack, a cap with UPF 50 sun protection, a volunteer kit with laminated badge, an hours logbook, and a deductible donation with CFDI 4.0 issued by the authorised donee. The kit invoice is issued under key G03 on the CSR line, fully deductible under article 27 of the LISR.
Why CSR fails when it arrives only as hours and donation
The Income Tax Law allows deducting donations to authorised donees up to 7% of the fiscal utility of the fiscal year. SAT publishes the directory of authorised donees annually. The Mexican corporate with a CSR programme knows that the cash donation and volunteer hours are the visible indicators in the annual report, but the tangible tool that the volunteer uses on the day of the volunteer day makes the difference between a memorable event and a forgettable experience.
The Mexican corporate spends on average between USD 35 and 100 per volunteer on CSR events that are concentrated in a single day and leave little tangible trace. The Corp package 73 final rationalises that spend and ships a standardised kit that backs the volunteer during the volunteer day and gives them an object to remember: the t-shirt identifies the team, the bottle hydrates, the backpack carries the material, the cap protects from the sun, the badge accredits them, the notebook records the hours, the deductible donation closes the tax cycle. The invoice is segregated from general expenses and reported as community impact investment.
For corporates with active CSR programmes (Volunteer Committees, alliances with donees such as UNICEF Mexico, Cruz Roja Mexicana, Save the Children, Caritas Mexico, Fundación TV Azteca, CIRE, Albergue de los Hermanos del Refugio, Pro Niños con Leucemia, Banco de Alimentos de Mexico), the kit is delivered with the programme calendar and QR code for registration on the internal tracking platform. The CSR area receives a dashboard with compliance by volunteer day, percentage of volunteers with assigned kit, and volunteer retention rate. The invoice is segregated from HR spend and reported as human capital investment.
For corporates with multiple legal entities and nationwide operations, the kit is delivered in a single order with lots segregated by RFC and independent invoicing per entity. Premium logistics with DHL or Estafeta deliver in 3 to 5 business days to any state in the country, with tracking and delivery confirmation. For free zone deliveries (typical of IMMEX with volunteers in Baja California or Sonora), VAT is calculated at 0% rate and the Free Zone complement is attached with the SAT authorisation number.

How the CSR kit is invoiced under LISR and SAT
The Corp package 73 final operates in two invoicing modes. The first is closed monthly order with CFDI 4.0 issued by Corp-Merch at month-end with line-by-line description for deduction as CSR spend. The second is annual contract with fixed unit price and invoice against actual delivery each quarter, with payment complement at 30 days when the corporate operates on credit lines. Additionally, the authorised donee issues its own CFDI for the deductible donation with donees complement.
CFDI Use depends on the client tax regime and the receiving area. For the General Regime with CSR or volunteer committee, the invoice is issued under G03 (general expenses) on the CSR investment line. For RESICO, the same key is used because the kit counts as community impact investment. Validation with the accounting area happens before the first batch to confirm the specific expense account and the correct key.
VAT 16% is broken down line by line on CFDI 4.0. For free zone deliveries (typical of IMMEX with volunteers in Baja California, Sonora or Tamaulipas), VAT is calculated at 0% rate and the Free Zone complement is attached with the SAT authorisation number. For interstate deliveries with Carta Porte, the Carta Porte 3.0 complement is attached with carrier data and documented origin-destination.
CFDI cancellation or correction is processed within 24 hours of the request. For model or specification changes after the kit has been delivered, we handle replacement with additional charge and new CFDI for the additional piece. A kit not delivered because the volunteer cancelled before the first day is invoiced only if the order confirmation was signed by the CSR area at least 5 business days in advance.
Sizes, colours and stock curve
The Corp package 73 final t-shirt has curve XS 10%, S 30%, M 35%, L 15%, XL 5%, with L and XL in backup stock for replacements. The bottle is universal with 700 ml. The backpack is universal with capacity for 13" laptop. The cap is universal with velcro adjustable closure. For employees with large size (2XL or 3XL), we offer an extended version with surcharge and additional production time.
T-shirt and cap colours are selected per supported cause and kept stable to build brand identity. Common combinations in Mexican corporates: white t-shirt + white cap + transparent bottle + blue backpack for education; green t-shirt + green cap + transparent bottle + black backpack for environment; orange t-shirt + orange cap + transparent bottle + blue backpack for health; blue t-shirt + blue cap + transparent bottle + black backpack for inclusion.
For corporates with more than 100 volunteers in the CSR programme, we run a rotating warehouse stock with monthly replenishment. The corporate pays for the kit only when the volunteer day is confirmed, with no minimum volume commitment. Premium logistics with DHL or Estafeta deliver in 3 to 5 business days to any state in the country. For corporates with multiple legal entities, lots are segregated by RFC with independent invoicing per entity.
