Corp 7 final bundle: the kit for the executive who crosses the border
The corp 7 final bundle is designed for the Mexican executive attending B2B trade shows in the United States, Canada or Mexico under USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, formerly NAFTA): TSA-lock rigid cabin trolley, quick-dry executive polo, universal adapter with USB-C PD, NFC digital business card, AES-256 encrypted USB with company material, and a collapsible bottle for frictionless customs. The CFDI 4.0 invoice goes out with the foreign-trade complement when the kit exits the country permanently.
USMCA and trilateral commercial operation
The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA, T-MEC in Spanish) entered into force on 1 July 2020 and replaced NAFTA. The treaty sets preferential origin rules for trilateral commerce, with specific regional content requirements (75% in most categories), material value rules, and labour and environmental obligations the Mexican corporate must document when exporting to the US or Canada.
The Mexican executive attending B2B trade shows in the US or Canada represents the corporate in its export capacity. The kit preparation for the executive is an operational and fiscal decision: when the kit ships to the executive as a working tool for use at the expo, it deducts as operating expense with foreign-trade complement. When the kit ships as a gift to the international customer (sample, demonstrator or branded item case), it invoices as part of the promotion expense at 0% IVA under the export regime.
Mexican customs allows definitive exit of the kit without IVA payment when documented with the participation constancia issued by the fair venue (typical case: Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, McCormick Place in Chicago, Palais des Congrès in Montreal or Cintermex in Monterrey). The constancia is attached to the export pedimento when the kit value exceeds $500 USD per unit or when it includes more than 5 pieces of the same type.
The executive crossing the border with a corporate kit must go through US or Canadian customs with verbal or written declaration of the contents. US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) can inspect the kit contents and request value documentation. The CFDI 4.0 invoice with foreign-trade complement is the documentation that proves the kit's value and origin for customs purposes.

How trade-show participation gets invoiced
The trade-show kit invoicing runs under three modes depending on the kit's final destination. The first is operating expense when the kit ships to the executive for personal use during the expo: CFDI 4.0 with USO CFDI G03 (general expenses) and period-expense deduction. The 16% IVA breaks out normally without foreign-trade complement.
The second is export when the kit ships as a gift or sample to the international customer during the expo: CFDI 4.0 with USO CFDI P01 (to define) and foreign-trade operation key. IVA is set at 0% with the foreign-trade complement attached. The export pedimento is processed when value exceeds $500 USD per line or when it includes more than 5 pieces of the same type. The participation constancia issued by the fair venue is filed with the record.
The third is temporary import when the kit returns to Mexico at the expo's end: a temporary-import pedimento is processed with 6-month validity, extendable. The kit pays no IVA or duties as long as it exits the country within the authorised period. The exit is documented with a return pedimento to the fiscal deposit or exit customs. This mode applies when the corporate wants to reuse the kit in future expos.
Supporting documentation includes: CFDI 4.0 with foreign-trade complement, export or temporary-import pedimento, participation constancia issued by the fair venue, packing list with description and value of each piece, executive ID carrying the kit (passport, visa, corporate letter). The documentation is preserved for 5 years for SAT and ANAM review.

Pricing, MOQ and timelines
Pricing in MXN before 16% IVA. The corp 7 final bundle starts at $7,890 MXN per unit from MOQ 5 executives. In series of 20 kits or more for a single trade show, the unit cost drops to $6,950 MXN. In annual contracts for corporates with recurring expo calendars, the unit cost drops to $6,200 MXN with safety stock and scheduled delivery. The CFDI 4.0 invoice goes out with foreign-trade complement when the exit is definitive.
Production runs 18 to 22 business days for kits with engraved NFC card and embroidered polo. Series above 30 kits require 25 to 30 business days with a 6 to 8 week lead time before the trade show starts. Delivery to the executive's home goes out 7 to 10 days before the trip so the executive can pack and review the contents.
For corporates participating in multiple trade shows during the year, we run an annual contract with preferential per-kit pricing, capacity reserved for peak seasons (January to March for CES, AAPEX, etc.) and consolidated delivery per event. Invoicing runs per event with per-piece breakdown and participation constancia attached when required for export.
FAQ — corp 7 final bundle
How is the kit declared at US customs?
The executive declares verbally or in writing the kit contents to the CBP officer. The declaration includes the commercial value of each piece (per CFDI 4.0) and purpose (working tool, not for sale). CBP can inspect the contents and request documentation. The CFDI 4.0 with foreign-trade complement is the documentation that proves the value and origin. For kits with value over $800 USD per line, temporary-export with pedimento is recommended.
Does the trolley meet carry-on dimensions?
Yes. The trolley measures 22x14x9 inches (56x36x23 cm), inside IATA standards and the main airlines (Aeromexico, Volaris, VivaAerobus, United, American, Delta, Air Canada). The trolley also complies with the typical carry-on weight limit (10 kg). The executive can take the trolley as carry-on luggage and the full kit as a second personal piece, provided the value stays inside the duty-free limits.
Does the adapter work in Asia and Europe?
Yes. The universal adapter is compatible with North America (A, B), Japan (A, B), Europe (C, E, F), UK (G), Australia (I) and Asia (variants) plugs. Input voltage is 100-240V, compatible with the electrical grid of any country. The USB-C PD port at 65W charges MacBook Pro, Dell XPS, ThinkPad and similar laptops. For destinations with unstable voltage (some African and Asian countries), we recommend an external regulator.
Does the NFC card work without an app?
Yes. The NFC card uses NTAG215 technology compatible with iPhone 7 or later (iOS 13+) and Android 9 or later. The executive simply holds the card near the recipient's phone and the contact information transfers automatically. For phones without NFC, the QR code on the reverse works as backup. The contact information can be updated remotely through a proprietary platform (dynamic vCard) or stay fixed engraved on the chip.
Can you add product samples to the kit?
Yes. For corporates shipping physical samples to customers at the booth (typical agribusiness, cosmetics, electronics case), we add small product samples to the kit. Samples require sanitary compliance (COFEPRIS, FDA, CFIA registration depending on destination) and special packaging for air transport. The sample value is invoiced separately under the same CFDI with foreign-trade operation key when applicable.
How is the kit's return to Mexico documented?
The kit returning to Mexico is documented with a return pedimento to the fiscal deposit or exit customs. The pedimento is processed before the temporary-import period expires (6 months, extendable). SAT validates that the pieces return in the same condition and quantity as they exited. The initial temporary-import invoice is cancelled and a new invoice is issued with 0% IVA for the return operation. The documentation is filed with the corporate's record.
