Corp 6 final bundle: the visitor's kit for stepping onto the plant floor
The corp 6 final bundle is built for the corporate visitor entering an IMMEX (Maquila, Manufacturing, Export Services) manufacturing plant: high-visibility safety polo with reflective tape, helmet with embroidered logo, UV-filter safety glasses, ear-plug hearing protector, multi-pocket safety vest, NOM-113 certified industrial boots and visitor badge with QR code. The CFDI 4.0 invoice goes out at 0% IVA when delivery is into free zone with the Free Zone complement attached.
Plant visit under the IMMEX regime
The IMMEX programme (Industria Manufacturera, Maquiladora y de Servicios de Exportación) operates under decree published in the Diario Oficial de la Federación and lets corporates temporarily import inputs, machinery and equipment for the production, transformation or repair of goods destined for export. The Secretaría de Economía maintains the public IMMEX roster, and daily operations are overseen by SAT and ANAM (Agencia Nacional de Aduanas).
The IMMEX corporate receives recurring visits from international customers, quality auditors (ISO, IATF, AS9100), social-compliance auditors (BSCI, Sedex, WRAP), and delegations from Mexican authorities (STPS, SEMARNAT, PROFEPA). Each visit type has specific personal protective equipment (PPE) and regulatory compliance requirements. The corp 6 final bundle covers the basic elements that apply to any visitor entering the production area.
For IMMEX corporates with US, Canadian or Mexican customers auditing USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement) origin-rule compliance, the visitor kit is supplemented with documentation of labour, environmental and traceability compliance. The corporate hands the visitor a folder with copies of payroll records, IMSS payments, safety training records and environmental reports. The documentation is confidential and returned at the audit's end.
Visitors entering the plant under IMMEX must wear PPE throughout their stay in production: helmet, glasses, vest, industrial boots and hearing protector when noise levels exceed 85 dB. NOM-009-STPS-2011 sets the criteria for PPE provision and NOM-026-STPS-2008 the safety criteria in production areas. The corporate omitting visitor PPE faces STPS fines of 50 to 5,000 UMAs depending on severity.

How the IMMEX plant-visit kit gets invoiced
The visitor PPE kit for IMMEX plants operates under two modes. The first is operating expense when the corporate buys the kit to hand to the visitor without charge: CFDI 4.0 with USO CFDI G03 (general expenses), deducted as period expense under Article 27 LISR. The second is sale to the visitor: the corporate charges the kit to the external visitor (auditor or consultant case) and issues CFDI with USO CFDI G01 (merchandise acquisition).
For IMMEX corporates in free zone, IVA is set at 0% with the Free Zone complement attached to the CFDI. This applies to both deliveries inside the fiscal precinct and to deliveries to the external visitor within the same precinct. The IMMEX corporate retains the documentation proving free-zone delivery for 5 years for SAT review.
The 16% IVA breaks out line by line on the CFDI 4.0 when delivery is outside free zone. The Carta Porte with Carta Porte 3.0 complement is attached when shipping crosses state lines (the case of corporates with plants in different states). The Carta Porte includes carrier data, vehicle, origin-destination and shipment weight. SAT cross-references this with the corporate's IMMEX roster.
Supporting documentation includes: visitor list signed by the plant's safety lead, copy of the visitor's official ID, safety training proof (when required for specific areas), entry and exit record with exact time. This documentation is integrated into the corporate's file and preserved for 5 years for review by STPS, SAT and ANAM.
Visit types that need this kit
The ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality audit is the most frequent visit at the IMMEX automotive corporate. The external auditor needs full PPE and access to production areas for 2 to 5 days. The kit ships at entry with a distinguishing vest (different colour per corporate protocol) and returns at exit with exit inspection. The auditor's identification is a plasticised badge with photo and QR code.
The BSCI, Sedex or WRAP social-compliance audit is run by an international auditor who interviews employees, reviews payroll records and verifies working conditions. The kit is supplemented with corporate documentation delivered on encrypted USB: training records, IMSS payments, collective contracts, accident reports. The documentation is confidential and returned at the end.
The international customer visit (buyer from Walmart, Costco, Target, Home Depot or similar) to verify production capacity before placing a manufacturing order. The customer enters the plant for 1 to 2 days, observes production lines, verifies quality processes and negotiates available capacity. The kit includes a corporate brochure and samples of products in execution.
The Mexican authority visit (STPS for labour inspection, SEMARNAT for environmental inspection, PROFEPA for waste verification) requires specific protocol per the inspected area. The kit is supplemented with the corporate's legal documentation: positive opinion of fiscal compliance, positive opinion of IMSS obligations, current environmental licence, STPS registration of the safety committee.
Pricing, MOQ and timelines
