Corp 4 final bundle: the gesture for the person who stays
The corp 4 final bundle is built around the most delicate moment in Mexican corporate culture: the public recognition of an employee hitting 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 years with the company. Each milestone gets its own kit: at 5 years, an executive wristwatch engraved with name and years; at 10 years, an Italian leather-strap watch with engraved case; at 15 years, a laser-engraved crystal plaque and a dinner for two; at 20 years, a walnut desk set and pocket watch; at 25 years, a high-end automatic watch with personalised case and retirement plaque. The CFDI 4.0 invoice goes per cohort, deductible as labour-relations and training expense.
Why tenure recognition beats the retention bonus
The attrition curve at the Mexican corporate hits a critical peak around year 3, when the employee already knows their market value and starts receiving external offers. The second peak lands at year 7, when the senior employee starts questioning whether their growth path has a ceiling. The third moment is around year 12, when the retirement or severance offer starts looking attractive against another 15 years in the same seat.
Tangible, public recognition at each tenure milestone reduces voluntary attrition by 18 to 24%, per Gallup and Deloitte studies applied to the Mexican market. The corporate that recognises 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years with personalised kits (not generic, not just cash) builds a permanence narrative the employee shares with their family and peers. Senior-talent retention is cheaper than new-talent acquisition at a 1:3 ratio.
Public recognition happens at a ceremony HR or the managing director organises 6 to 8 weeks ahead. The kit lands in a sealed box with corporate ribbon and a personalised card signed by the managing director. The moment is photographed and archived in the employee's file and shared on the intranet or corporate social media (with the employee's authorisation) to reinforce the permanence culture.
For corporates with multiple legal entities, the recognition happens at the site where the employee works, with the direct manager and the regional director present. The invoice goes from the entity that carries the cost, deductible as labour-relations expense under Article 27 LISR. The recognition constancia is filed in the employee's record for future work references.

How tenure recognition gets invoiced
Tenure recognition has specific fiscal treatment in Mexico. When delivered as a tenure prize (the legal figure recognised in Article 87 of the Federal Labour Law), the kit value is ISR-exempt for the employee up to the equivalent of 1 UMAG (Unidad de Medida y Actualización Generalizada) per year of service, per Article 93 fraction XIII of the LISR. The excess is taxed as accumable income for the employee and the corporate reports it on the perceptions constancia.
The CFDI 4.0 is issued by the legal entity delivering the recognition, with USO CFDI G03 (general expenses) when the cost is deducted as labour relations, or D02 (training) when tied to a formal retention programme. The 16% IVA breaks out line by line. For corporates with delivery inside free zones, IVA is set at 0% with the Free Zone complement attached.
The corporate running an annual recognition programme issues one consolidated invoice for all deliveries in the year, broken down per employee, tenure level, ceremony date and kit delivered. The employee's perceptions constancia lists the kit value as exempt income (where applicable) and the excess as taxed income. The excess is calculated on the kit's market value at delivery date.
For employees who retire or resign after the recognition, the issued invoice is neither cancelled nor amended. The kit delivered stays as period expense for the fiscal year of the ceremony. Supporting documentation includes the ceremony attendance list signed by the managing director, event photographs and the personalised letter handed to the honoree. This documentation is preserved for 5 years for SAT review.
The ceremony: logistics and protocol
The recognition ceremony follows a protocol the Mexican corporate has consolidated since the 1990s and that remains valid with small regional variations. The event happens in the main-site ballroom or a rented hall for mass ceremonies, lasting 60 to 90 minutes. The honoree and their family receive the invitation in a personalised envelope 3 weeks ahead.
The typical agenda includes: managing director's words (5 minutes), video projection with photos of the employee across their career (3 minutes), direct manager's biographical sketch (3 minutes), physical kit handover by the managing director with official photo (5 minutes), honoree's words (5 minutes), catered reception (40 minutes). For regional or business-unit ceremonies, the regional director makes the presentation on behalf of the managing director.
Photographic coverage is contracted separately with the corporate or run by the internal communications team. Photos ship as high-resolution digital files within 48 hours and are archived in the employee's file. For 25-year honorees, the recognition is usually paired with a formal retirement announcement and a retirement package quoted separately.
For fully remote employees, the ceremony happens over video call with the kit delivered to the employee's home 48 hours ahead. The managing director hands over virtually with the kit pre-opened by the honoree, allowing family participation. The official photo is taken with the employee holding the kit in front of the screen, and is later printed and shipped as a memento.

The corporate confirms the restaurant or asks for our recommendation based on location.
For corporates with annual programmes, we run a contract with estimated budget and monthly invoicing against deliveries. Safety stock stays at our warehouses to respond to employees hitting milestones outside the mass ceremony. Logistics uses tracked courier for home delivery and on-site delivery for corporate ceremonies.
FAQ — corp 4 final bundle
Can you engrave in multiple languages for foreign executives?
Yes. For foreign-nationality employees or expat executives, engraving runs in Spanish and English when the corporate requests it. The watch case and crystal plaque carry the same dedication in both languages. The personalised letter ships bilingual with professional translation when the honoree doesn't speak Spanish. The additional cost for bilingual engraving is $280 MXN per piece.
How is the taxed excess calculated for the employee?
The taxed excess is the difference between the kit's market value and the LISR-authorised exempt amount (1 UMAG per year of service). For example, an employee with 10 years receiving a level-10 kit valued at $7,200 MXN has an exempt amount of roughly $10,900 MXN (10 × UMAG), so there's no taxed excess. For level 25 at $32,000 MXN, the excess is the difference against 25 UMAG.
Can you replace pieces damaged in transit?
Yes. When a piece arrives damaged by courier, we replace at no cost within 5 business days of the report. The replacement is invoiced as a new receipt with reference to the original invoice. The corporate doesn't need to cancel the original CFDI because the damaged piece never reached the employee; the new piece is invoiced as an additional delivery under the same annual contract.
Does the dinner-for-two have restrictions?
The dinner voucher runs at selected premium restaurants and is valid for 6 months from issue. The reservation is made by the employee directly with the restaurant. The voucher covers lunch or dinner for two including drinks, excluding tips and additional service. For employees in cities without an affiliated restaurant, we substitute with at-home private-chef dining or an equivalent gastronomic experience.
Do you handle employees hitting multiple milestones in the same year?
Yes. When an employee hits multiple levels in the same year (e.g. turns 10 and retires simultaneously), the highest level is delivered and the dual event is documented on the constancia. The invoice goes out with the delivered level's value and the selection reason is documented in the managing director's letter. For employees hitting multiple levels in consecutive years (5 and 10), each level is delivered in its corresponding year.
Can you deliver kits in free zone at 0% IVA?
Yes. For IMMEX corporates in Baja California, Sonora or Tamaulipas, we deliver into free zone at 0% IVA with the Free Zone complement attached to the CFDI. The Carta Porte is issued with origin at our Tijuana warehouse and destination at the client's plant. For employees at residential addresses inside free zone, the 0% rate stays in place with a residential address complement.
