The Mexican trade-show calendar and exhibitor logistics

Mexico runs more than 1,800 trade shows per year according to AMEC and CANACO data. The most important venues are Expo Guadalajara (Jalisco), Cintermex Monterrey (Nuevo León), WTC Ciudad de México (CDMX), Centro Citibanamex (CDMX), Expo Santa Fe (CDMX), Centro de Congresos de Querétaro and CICC Veracruz. The most relevant sector shows include Expo ANTAD, Expo Manufactura, Expo Transporte, Expo Pharma, Expo Agroalimentaria, Tianguis Turístico, Hoteles por la Equidad and International Book Fairs.

The exhibitor corporate runs three participation phases: pre-show (sending invitations, reservations, setup), during the show (booth staffing, lead capture, demos), and post-show (lead follow-up, invoicing, results reporting). The corp 127 final bundle covers the booth-team pieces during the show, with extension to post-show for lead follow-up.

The fiscal regime of trade-show participation operates under Article 27 LISR as advertising and marketing expense, capped at 3% of the corporate's cumulative income. For corporates with show spend above the cap, the excess carries forward to future years. The CFDI 4.0 invoice includes per-piece breakdown with 16% national IVA and 100% deductibility as exhibition expense.

The corporate with multi-show participation runs scheduled deliveries per event: 2 to 3 weeks before booth setup. Delivery goes directly to the show venue or to the exhibitor's office with specialised carriers. Coordination includes booth-staff list, corporate RFC, show name and booth number for inventory control.

How the trade-show kit is invoiced

The corp 127 final bundle invoices under USO CFDI D02 when booked as training expense, or G03 when booked as marketing-exhibition expense. The invoice carries 16% national IVA with advertising-expense deductibility, capped at 3% of corporate cumulative income. For corporates with border-zone operations, 8% IVA with Border Zone complement.

The corporate with multi-show participation issues a single consolidated invoice across all shows of the year with per-show and per-event breakdown. Deductibility runs under Article 27 LISR as advertising and marketing expense with the 3% cap. Supporting documentation includes the signed booth-staff list, delivery receipts and post-show report with lead-capture metrics.

The international exhibitor corporate accesses the temporary-import regime when the show material crosses the border from the US or Canada for bi-national shows. The CFDI 4.0 invoice goes in MXN with the day's exchange rate. For corporates under IMMEX, the corp 127 final bundle invoices at 0% IVA when temporarily imported for exhibition and re-exported after the show.

Trade-show calendar and logistics

The 2026 Mexican trade-show calendar includes more than 80 relevant sector shows per AMEC calendar. The most important shows by sector: industrial (Expo Manufactura, Industrial Transformation, Fabtech Mexico), food (Expo ANTAD, Alimentaria Mexico, Fancy Food), tech (CXTech, IoT Solutions, AI Summit Mexico), tourism (Tianguis Turístico, IBTM Americas), health (Expo Farma, Expo Med), and fashion (Intermoda, Magic Mexico).

The exhibitor corporate with 3 to 10 shows per year runs scheduled deliveries per event. Delivery goes to the show venue 2 to 3 days before booth setup with specialised carriers (DHL, FedEx, Castores). For international shows (those receiving visitors from US, Canada, Europe, Asia), the kit ships 4 to 5 days early to allow border adjustments.

Production runs 12 to 15 business days for series of 50 kits or more, with 18 to 22 days for series above 200 kits. For last-minute registrations, we run a minimum batch of 30 kits with 8–10 business days production time. Urgent delivery operates with extra charge for reduced production time and express carrier.

FAQ — corp 127 final bundle

What is the trade-show expense deductibility cap?

Exhibition and advertising expenses (including trade-show kit) are deductible under Article 27 LISR with a 3% cap on the corporate's cumulative income. For corporates with show spend above the cap, the excess carries forward to future years. The CFDI 4.0 invoice with per-piece breakdown serves as supporting documentation of the expense reported in the annual return.

Does the NFC card work with iPhone?

Yes. The NFC card operates with NTAG215 chip compatible with iPhone (from iPhone 7 with iOS 13+) and Android (most models with NFC). Tapping the card with the phone auto-opens the vCard contact or the corporate's post-show landing page. For phones without NFC, the backup QR code works. The chip programming runs before shipping and is validated on sample.

Can you deliver directly to the venue?

Yes. For direct deliveries to the show venue (Expo Guadalajara, Cintermex, WTC CDMX, Centro Citibanamex), we coordinate with the venue administration for package access and booth delivery. Delivery runs 2 to 3 days before setup. For corporates with central logistics coordination, we deliver to the exhibitor's warehouse with 1–3 day transit.

Does it work for bi-national shows with the US?

Yes. For bi-national shows (Tijuana, Ciudad Juárez, Matamoros, Nuevo Laredo), the corp 127 final bundle crosses the border with Carta Porte 3.0 and ships to the exhibitor's booth at the American show venue. The CFDI 4.0 invoice goes with 0% IVA for export and the export pedimento is attached. For shows in Arizona or Texas with Mexican producers, we run dual coordination.

Do you handle more than 10 shows per year?

Yes. For corporates participating in 10 to 50 shows per year, we run an annual contract with safety stock and replacement per event. The invoice goes per event with delivered-piece and attendee breakdown. Coordination includes show calendar, event list, setup and teardown dates, and booth-staff per event. The contract operates with automatic renewal and 60-day prior notice.
