M&A close celebration kits for Mexican corporate transactions
The M&A close is the company's milestone moment. The deal has been negotiated, the regulatory clearances are in (CNBV, COFECE, the foreign-investment regulator, the industry-specific regulator), and the combined entity is now a single team. The kit marks the moment for the executives, the employees, the strategic clients and the strategic suppliers. We assemble M&A close celebration kits for the acquirer side and the target side, for the friendly combinations and the contested bids, in editions of 60–2,000 pieces per close. CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA, USD commercial invoice for the international acquirers and target shareholders.
Why an M&A celebration kit has to balance both legacies
The close celebration is the first moment that the two companies are visibly a single entity. The kit has to honour both legacies and signal the combined future. The principal object carries both companies' identities in equal weight; the regional product anchors the moment in Mexico; the welcome card acknowledges the close without overstating the new entity's permanence (the post-merger integration is rarely done at the close).
The kit also has to handle the audience's emotional relationship to the close. The employees of the target company may feel uncertain; the employees of the acquirer may feel protective of their culture; the strategic clients and suppliers may wonder if the combined entity will keep the relationship. The kit has to signal that the moment is a celebration, not a takeover, and that the relationship continues.
M&A celebration kit, by tier
Executive tier (acquirer and target)
Rigid presentation box with the close press release, the combined-entity narrative, the bilingual (ES / EN) executive Q&A, the integration timeline; personalised leather portfolio with both companies' identities and the executive's initials; engraved pen; Denomination of Origin mezcal or extra-aged tequila from the combined entity's home state (NOM-141 compliant); personalised card from the acquirer's CEO; rigid packaging. Range USD 480–1,800 per kit.
Strategic-client and strategic-supplier tier
Branded briefing folder with the close press release, the combined-entity narrative, the integration timeline; branded notebook with both companies' identities; branded water bottle NOM-251 compliant; regional product (Oaxacan chocolate, vanilla from Papantla); personalised card from the acquirer's regional VP. Range USD 180–480 per kit.
Employee tier (acquirer and target)
Branded brief folder with the close announcement, the integration timeline, the FAQ; branded notebook; branded water bottle; branded welcome card from the acquirer's CEO. The employee kit is the most-distributed tier. Range USD 48–145 per kit.
Combined-entity apparel for the close-day
Branded garment-dyed tee with both companies' marks in equal weight; branded cap; optional branded vest; the apparel is kitted per team member for the close-day celebration at the acquirer's office or the target's office. Range USD 28–95 per set.
Production window, regulatory caution and CFDI
The M&A close kit opens production 30–45 days before the close date: 14 days for creative, both-companies' legal and brand-team approval, 14 days for production of the principal object and the personalised accessories, 7 days for the regional product sourcing and the assembly, 3 days for final QC and delivery to the acquirer's office or the target's office. The close date is often sensitive; we hold a 10% buffer for last-minute changes to the close date, the integration timeline or the principal object.
The kit has to handle the regulatory caution. The close press release, the executive Q&A and the integration timeline are reviewed by the acquirer's general counsel and the target's general counsel for any forward-looking statements. The kit does not contain speculation on the post-merger entity's name, the post-merger leadership, the post-merger headquarters or the post-merger brand identity unless those decisions are already public. The CFDI 4.0 is issued to the acquirer's Mexican operating entity with 16% IVA itemised; for international acquirers, the commercial invoice is issued in USD with the corresponding CFDI 4.0 in MXN.
FAQ — M&A celebration kits
What's the minimum edition size?
60 pieces for a focused close announcement, 200 pieces for a national employee program, 2,000 pieces for the broader employee cohort. Below 60 pieces, the per-kit cost becomes inefficient; we recommend a smaller scope (executive gift + branded folder) instead of the full kit.
Can the kit honour both legacies?
Yes — the principal object, the notebook, the apparel and the card carry both companies' identities in equal weight. The welcome card from the acquirer's CEO acknowledges the close without overstating the new entity's permanence.
Can the kit clear the regulator's caution?
Yes — the close press release, the executive Q&A and the integration timeline are reviewed by both companies' general counsel. The kit does not contain speculation on the post-merger entity's name, the post-merger leadership or the post-merger brand identity unless those decisions are already public.
Can the kit include Denomination of Origin mezcal or tequila?
Yes — we work with NOM-141 compliant producers in Oaxaca (mezcal, Mezcal Regulatory Council) and Jalisco (tequila, CRT). The back label carries the certification number. The export documentation clears customs for the international executives.

Send the deal name, the close date, the acquirer and target identities, the audience count by tier, the budget per tier and the general counsel's compliance contact. We prepare a tiered proposal with per-kit cost, regulatory caution review and the CFDI / USD billing split.
