2026 Corporate Kit: the year is planned in October

The 2026 corporate kit is not built in December: it is built between October and November of the previous year. IMMEX plants in Saltillo, Ramos Arizpe and Apodaca close their operating budget before 15 November so they enter Q1 with a released purchase order. HR departments in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey approve the Merch and Uniforms chapter at the budget planning meeting in the second half of October. Corporates that left merch for January ended up receiving it in March, with Q1 activations already closed and no way to operate the full fiscal cycle. The 2026 kit is a piece of strategic planning, not a reactive purchase: it carries five decisions that close before the current year ends.

2026 corporate kit components

Welcome merch

Onboarding box for new hires in Q1 and Q2: engraved thermo, hand-bound notebook, branded t-shirt, waxed canvas backpack, USB with the employee handbook and CEO letter. Production from 50 units, compliance with the LFT in the benefits and provision chapter. SAT invoicing with CFDI 4.0 and unit key E48 (corporate kit).

Anniversary merch

Service recognition: Mexican art piece for 10, 15 and 20 years, premium use item (Montblanc, Tumi, B&O equivalent) for 25 years, curated experience (national trip, high-end restaurant dinner) for 30 and 35 years. Coordination with Internal Communications and the CEO's office, fiscal compliance with SAT declaration when the piece value exceeds MXN $80,000.

Commercial merch

Annual gifting programme for clients and prospects: thank-you kit, commemorative kit and reward kit. Coordination with Marketing and the sales force, compliance with the General Law on Administrative Responsibilities when the recipient is a public official, PLD compliance when the recipient is in the financial sector.

Event merch

Provision for fairs, congresses and exhibitions of the year: staff kit for Expo Guadalajara, sponsorship kit for a trade fair, congress kit for industry events, banking convention kit. Compliance with the Federal Law on Games and Lotteries when delivering items with commercial worth, invoicing with foreign trade complement when the event is international.

Five decisions closed in October

The first decision is the aggregate annual run: the corporate consolidates the four lines (welcome, anniversary, commercial, event) into a single purchase order to access volume pricing and simplify fiscal compliance. The second decision is the graphic line: the Image and Communication sub-directorate delivers the 2026 brand manual with the colour palette, logos and licensed graphic assets for the year. The third decision is the delivery calendar: the corporate defines the critical dates (product launch in Q1, board meeting in Q2, annual convention in Q3, fiscal closing in Q4) and Corp-Merch.MX schedules deliveries with a 15 business day buffer.

The fourth decision is the fiscal regime: the corporate provides its Tax Situation Certificate and Carta Porte 3.0 when the shipment crosses internal borders, and Corp-Merch.MX issues CFDI 4.0 with the corresponding unit key, the recipient's fiscal regime and the CFDI use the corporate instructs (G03 general expenses, I02 office furniture and equipment, I06 materials and supplies). The fifth decision is the logistics chapter: the corporate chooses between consolidated delivery at the central warehouse (Mexico City, Monterrey or Guadalajara), regional delivery with premium courier, or per-employee delivery with private courier and recipient signature.

IMMEX, USMCA and the corporate fiscal cycle

Corporates with an IMMEX programme (Manufacturing, Maquiladora and Export Services Industry) have a different compliance logic: merch items that cross the border to be delivered to the employee at the Texas, California or Arizona plant require a temporary export pedimento when the item returns to Mexico at year-end, or a definitive export pedimento when the item stays with the employee abroad. Corp-Merch.MX handles compliance with a certified customs broker in Monterrey and Tijuana, with SAT invoicing using the foreign trade complement and Carta Porte 3.0 for transit.

Corporates operating under USMCA (United States, Mexico and Canada Agreement) and with employees in the three sites can run the 2026 kit as a single continental purchase order: one product selection, three delivery calendars (Mexico, United States, Canada), three currencies (MXN, USD, CAD) and three tax compliances (SAT, IRS, CRA). Continental consolidation lowers the unit cost by 8 to 14 percent versus three separate purchases. For corporates with operations in Latin America (Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina), we handle similar consolidation with four additional tax compliances and international shipping via premium courier with GPS tracking.

Run sizes, MOQ and production window

The 2026 kit operates with consolidated runs by line and a 90 day production window before the first delivery. For welcome merch with runs from 50 units, the window closes 30 days before the first hire of the year (typically 15 December for 1 February hires). For anniversary merch with runs from 20 units, the window closes 45 days before the recognition event (typically the March or October meeting). For commercial merch with runs from 100 units, the window is distributed through the year with three quarterly deliveries. For event merch with runs from 200 units, the window closes 30 days before the first event of the year.

The unit cost varies by piece and run. As budget planning reference: stainless steel thermo from MXN $380 before VAT in runs of 100; hand-bound faux leather notebook from MXN $260 before VAT in runs of 100; organic cotton branded t-shirt from MXN $290 before VAT in runs of 100; waxed canvas backpack from MXN $640 before VAT in runs of 50; foil-stamped covered cardboard box from MXN $85 before VAT in runs of 100. SAT invoicing is issued with 16% VAT breakdown and support for deduction as Public Relations, Training or Commercialisation expense per the CFDI use the corporate instructs.
