Investor roadshow kits for Mexican IPO, follow-on and bond offerings

The investor roadshow is the company's moment in front of the institutional capital. Two weeks of analyst briefings in CDMX, New York, London, Boston and Madrid, one-on-one meetings with portfolio managers, group lunches with the buy side, dinners with the sales force. We assemble roadshow kits for Mexican IPOs on the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV), follow-on offerings, bond offerings in the local and international markets, and analyst days, in editions of 24–120 kits per roadshow. The kit's job is to leave a physical reminder of the issuer on the analyst's desk long after the roadshow closes. CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA, USD commercial invoice for international investors.

Why a roadshow kit has to satisfy both the regulator and the analyst

The Mexican roadshow kit lives in two worlds. The regulator (CNBV, BMV, the underwriter's compliance team) requires that the kit does not contain forward-looking statements, does not offer investment advice, and does not constitute a marketing document outside the prospectus. The analyst expects a kit that anchors the issuer's narrative and leaves a physical reminder on the desk. The kit has to walk this line carefully: substantial enough to feel like a gift, restrained enough to clear compliance.

The roadshow kit is shipped internationally (the New York leg, the London leg, the Boston leg, the Madrid leg, sometimes the Hong Kong or Singapore leg). The kit has to clear customs in each jurisdiction, survive checked-baggage handling at the analyst's hotel, and arrive in good condition at the analyst's office. The packaging is travel-safe, the documentation is customs-ready, and the personalisation data feed is shared by the issuer's IR team via a secure channel.

Roadshow kit, by tier

Travel-safe packaging compliant with the airline's checked-baggage allowance. Range USD 480–1,400 per kit.

Analyst tier (sell-side and buy-side)

Branded briefing folder with the annual report, the ESG report, the executive Q&A, the fact sheet, the press kit; branded notebook with the issuer's identity; branded pen; regional product (Oaxacan chocolate, vanilla from Papantla); personalised card from the IR team. Travel-safe packaging. Range USD 145–320 per kit.

Sales-force tier (sales, trading, capital markets)

Branded briefing folder with the annual report and the executive Q&A; branded notebook; branded pen; branded welcome card. Compact packaging for the sales-force's working bags. Range USD 65–180 per kit.

Compliance and disclaimer materials

Compliance-approved disclaimer page in every kit, with the regulatory notice required by the CNBV and the BMV, the underwriter's compliance language, the jurisdiction-specific disclaimer for the international legs. The disclaimer is reviewed by the issuer's general counsel and the underwriter's compliance team before the kit is approved. Range USD 2–6 per kit.

Production window, customs and cross-border shipping

The roadshow kit opens production 30–45 days before the roadshow begins: 14 days for creative, compliance approval and personalisation data collection, 14 days for production of the principal object and the personalised accessories, 7 days for the regional product sourcing and the assembly, 3 days for final QC and shipping. The kits are staged at the issuer's IR office or the underwriter's office in CDMX and travel with the executive team leg by leg, or are shipped directly to each leg's hotel via DHL Mexico or FedEx Mexico.

For kits shipped internationally (the New York leg, the London leg, the Boston leg), the CFDI 4.0 carries the comercio exterior complemento and the export documentation. The principal object and the regional product are declared on the customs documentation with the appropriate HS codes. For kits that include Denomination of Origin mezcal or extra-aged tequila, we work with NOM-141 compliant producers and the Mezcal Regulatory Council or the CRT certification, and the back label carries the certification number. The kits arrive 2–3 days before each leg opens and are staged at the hotel concierge or the analyst's office.

FAQ — investor roadshow kits

What's the minimum edition size?

24 pieces for a focused bond-offering roadshow, 60 pieces for a national IPO roadshow, 120 pieces for a full LATAM and US roadshow. Below 24 pieces, we recommend a single personalised gift instead of a full kit.

Can the kit be personalised to the recipient?

Yes — the principal object, the notebook, the card and the bottle carry the recipient's name or initials. The personalisation data feed is shared by the IR team via a secure spreadsheet and is destroyed on delivery.

Does the kit clear compliance?

Yes — every kit carries the compliance-approved disclaimer page reviewed by the issuer's general counsel and the underwriter's compliance team. The kit does not contain forward-looking statements, investment advice or marketing material outside the prospectus.

Can the kit include Denomination of Origin mezcal or tequila?

Yes — we work with NOM-141 compliant producers in Oaxaca (mezcal, Mezcal Regulatory Council) and Jalisco (tequila, CRT). The back label carries the certification number that the analyst can verify. The export documentation clears customs in each jurisdiction.
