Holiday hampers for Mexican clients and employee cohorts

The Mexican year-end gifting cycle is concentrated in the last quarter: client hampers ship in early December to land before the Christmas slowdown, employee hampers land at the office Christmas party or the company holiday, and the strategic-supplier hampers ship in mid-December to the executives' home addresses. We assemble hampers for clients of mid-cap and large-cap Mexican companies, employees of manufacturing plants in the Bajío and the Norte, and the strategic-supplier networks of the Mexican multinationals, in volumes from 30 pieces for a focused client list to 4,500 pieces for the annual employee program. CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA, USD commercial invoice for international procurement teams.

Why the holiday hamper is the company's annual brand moment

The hamper is the most-photographed corporate object of the year. The recipient opens it at home, in front of family, with the phone nearby. The hamper is shared on WhatsApp, on Instagram, on LinkedIn. It is the moment when the company's brand enters the recipient's home in a way that is more intimate than the office, more durable than the welcome kit, more thoughtful than the year-end bonus email. The hamper is also the moment when a brand can over-deliver or under-deliver with no second chance: the hamper that arrives late or generic is remembered longer than the one that arrives on time and personal.

The Mexican holiday cycle has its own anchors: the company Christmas party at a hotel in Polanco, Santa Fe or the beach destinations; the client hamper that ships to the executive's home in Lomas de Chapultepec, Bosques de las Lomas, San Pedro Garza García or Zapopan; the employee hamper that lands at the plant in Apodaca, San Luis Potosí, Saltillo, Celaya, Irapuato or Silao. We adjust the hamper's product mix and the shipping window to each anchor.

The hamper, by component

Rigid basket or wooden crate

Hand-woven wicker basket from Michoacán, lacquered wooden crate from Olinalá, or printed rigid box with the corporate identity. The basket or crate is the hamper's principal object and is often reused by the recipient as a storage piece long after the contents are gone. Range USD 18–95 per hamper.

Regional Mexican products

Denomination of Origin mezcal from Oaxaca (NOM-141 compliant), extra-aged tequila from Jalisco (NOM-141 and CRT certified), Oaxacan chocolate with criollo cacao, vanilla from Papantla, mole from Puebla or Tlaxcala, piloncillo from Chiapas, coffee from Chiapas, amate bookmark from Guerrero, pan de dulce. Each product carries a card explaining the origin. Range USD 60–320 per hamper.

Branded accessories

Engraved wooden cheese board, branded crystal tumbler, branded cocktail napkin set, branded corkscrew, branded leather notebook for the new-year planning, branded pen. The accessories carry the corporate identity and are used in the recipient's daily life long after the hamper is consumed. Range USD 24–140 per hamper.

Personalised card and packaging

Hand-signed card from the CEO or country manager, printed corporate greeting card, branded tissue paper, branded satin ribbon, branded sticker on the basket or crate, optional branded velvet pouch for the principal accessory. Range USD 6–24 per hamper.

Shipping window, address handling and cross-border gifting

The Mexican year-end shipping window opens on November 15 and closes on December 18 for the client hampers and the strategic-supplier hampers, and on December 8–12 for the employee hampers (so they arrive before the plant's Christmas slowdown). We open the production in mid-October to the December 1–10 client-hamper slot. For employee hampers with 2,000+ pieces, production opens in early September.

For client hampers shipped to home addresses, we use the recipient address list supplied by the company's CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and we coordinate the address validation through the Estafeta or FedEx Mexico API. For international procurement teams that procure the hampers from abroad and ship to their Mexican clients, we issue the commercial invoice in USD with the corresponding CFDI 4.0 in MXN with the comercio exterior complemento and the export documentation. For hampers that are themselves shipped internationally (a multinational shipping to its clients in the US, Europe or Asia), we coordinate international freight and the customs broker for the destination country.

FAQ — holiday hampers

When should we start the production?

Mid-October for the client hampers, early September for the large employee programs (2,000+ pieces). The shipping window closes on December 18 for clients and December 12 for employees.

Do you ship to home addresses?

Yes — we use the recipient address list supplied by your CRM and validate each address through the Estafeta or FedEx Mexico API. Tracking and signature on delivery is included on every shipment.

Can the hamper include Denomination of Origin tequila or mezcal?

Yes — we work with NOM-141 compliant producers in Oaxaca (mezcal, Mezcal Regulatory Council) and Jalisco (tequila, CRT). The back label carries the certification number that the recipient can verify.

Can the hamper be personalised per recipient?

Yes — the card is hand-signed per recipient and the notebook or coaster can carry the recipient's name. The personalisation data feed is shared 14 days before the shipping window opens.
