Salon R-5 Corp Coyoacán: the garden with bougainvillea and a hundred-year-old ahuehuete where corporate foundations present the social-impact report and auction the piece donated by the Oaxacan artist

Salon R-5 Corp Coyoacán is the garden with bougainvillea, a century-old ahuehuete tree and rose-cantera fountain, perimeter gallery for pieces donated by contemporary Mexican artists, open-air stage for panel conversations and poetry readings, seating for 120 under the canopy or 200 standing around the fountain, contemporary Oaxacan cuisine service with mezcal and atol pairing, live marimba máquina trio or Yucatecan trova soloists, and a back-of-house freight elevator with its own entry off Calle Francisco Sosa. The room hosts the corporate social responsibility (CSR) events that Mexican corporate foundations run at the fiscal-year close, the silent auctions that accompany the gala dinner to raise funds for education and health programs, the social-impact program launches announced in the presence of the cultural press (La Jornada, Reforma, Letras Libres, Gatopardo), and the Children's Day or International Women's Day celebrations organized by the corporate's diversity and inclusion committee. What defines R-5 is the proximity to the artistic community: the merch is conceived as a donation piece or as community recognition, not as a corporate souvenir.

Logistics, access and custody at Salon R-5 Coyoacán

R-5's freight entry off Calle Francisco Sosa has restricted hours from 7:00 to 10:00 on event day, with a log signed by garden operations and the foundation director. Material moves to the back-of-house in sealed boxes with lot numbers and stays under lock in the climate-controlled cellar until setup begins. For silent auctions with high-value pieces, we run transit insurance, authenticity-certificate custody and museum-grade display with piece-specific lighting for the auctioned work.

For multi-city tours combining CDMX with Oaxaca, San Miguel de Allende and Tijuana, we run partial shipments with Carta Porte 3.0 and the foreign trade complement when the kit crosses the northern border, with USMCA compliance for foundations operating in the US and Canada. For international legs continuing into NY, London or Madrid, we run IATA-compliant packing and coordinate with the client's corporate courier. The merch chain of custody is documented with signature, timestamp and photo at every checkpoint: alley intake, garden operations inspection, cellar transfer, restocking during the welcome service and post-event collection.

For foundations invoicing through SAT, we issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA breakdown (where applicable) and deduction support as Corporate Social Responsibility or Foundations expense. For corporates with international operations, we run complementary invoicing in USD at the Banco de México FIX rate of the prior day and compliance with the foreign-operations regime. For corporates with dual MXN/USD invoicing, we run the payment complement when the operation closes in installments. For tours crossing the border, we file a temporary import pedimento when the kit returns to Mexico.

INBAL, USMCA compliance and Salon R-5 prohibitions

R-5 operates under INBAL rules when the garden is an artistic monument or cultural heritage: no merch with flammable materials near the ahuehuete tree and the bougainvillea, no merch damaging the rose-cantera fountain, no unshielded metallic pieces admitted to the garden, no competitor-logo merch during the dinner, no outside food or beverages beyond the garden's authorized catering. For events with encrypted retransmission abroad, we run pieces compliant with the foundation's transmission protocol and concealed pieces for the feed when the compliance manual requires it.

For multi-city tours crossing the northern border, we run USMCA compliance with certificate of origin when the kit includes US components and support for the foreign trade complement of CFDI 4.0. For European legs covering London or Madrid, we run GDPR compliance for European donor data and support for local-VAT invoicing when the foundation has a presence in the EU. For Asian legs covering Tokyo or Singapore, we run compliance with local merchandise-entry restrictions and coordinate with the client's international courier.

For SAT invoicing, we issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA breakdown and deduction support as Corporate Social Responsibility, Foundations or Human Resources expense. For corporates with dual invoicing, we run the payment complement when installments apply. For international tours, we file temporary import pedimentos when the kit returns to Mexico and comply with Article 27 of the Fiscal Code of the Federation for deducting expenses abroad. Delivery to the cellar is documented with a slip signed by the garden operations chief and the foundation director.
