Salon Q-3 Hacienda La Soledad: the olive grove patio where the VIP guest discovers the monogram embroidered on the linen before the sommelier pulls the Parras wine cork

Salon Q-3 at Hacienda La Soledad is the main hall of a restored colonial hacienda on the olive grove corridor of Queretaro: 1,800 square metre central patio paved with river stone, a private 18th-century chapel with a gilded altarpiece and ivory Virgin, a protocol room with a carved cantera fireplace, adjacent dining rooms with capacity for 220 seated guests, 28 rooms for VIP guests, a stable with cantera mangers, a walled garden with orange trees and colonial fountains, and private access by the road to Amazcala without crossing the historic centre. It is where the executive galas of the industrial groups with Bajio plants, the protocol dinners with institutional investors, the annual board retreats, the corporate anniversary celebrations of the OEMs and the philanthropy events of the Queretaro Industrialists Club run.

What separates Salon Q-3 from an urban boutique hotel is not the silence of the patio or the chef's tasting menu, but the curation of the gala merch: the guest monogram hand-embroidered on the linen must be delivered two days before the event so the hacienda's laundry service presses it with the corporate viceregal mark, the keepsake box must reach the guest room before the maid prepares the room, and the coaster with the corporate anniversary year must be handed to the driver at the hacienda entrance before the guest crosses the patio door. The curation of detail is what separates the viceregal venue from the banker's room.

Salon Q-3 logistics, access and custody

Salon Q-3 at Hacienda La Soledad runs a discreet dock on the hacienda's lateral facade, with restricted hours 09:00 to 17:00 for gala merch entry and 06:00 to 09:00 the next day for post-event pickup. Vehicle freight access requires prior identification, hacienda badge and signature in the majordomo's logbook; no informal access and no entry through the main patio door. The hacienda protocol staff delivers the guest merch in the room, the diner merch in the dining room and the board merch in the protocol room with identification and discreet badge. The Salon Q-3 back-of-house has three areas: the laundry warehouse (where the embroidered linen is pressed and the combed-cotton robes are stored), the protocol room (where the board merch is kept in sealed boxes with the corporate seal) and the majordomo's armoured room (where VIP merch and the aged distillate are stored).

For executive galas with institutional investors present (usually from the US, Canada, Europe and Asia) we bill in USD at the Banco de Mexico FIX rate the day before the event, with USMCA compliance when the merch crosses the border as part of the investor disclosure material abroad, and deductibility support as Investor Relations or Public Relations expense in the corporate tax close. For dinners with regulators or Banco de Mexico officials, we comply with the hacienda security protocol and the Guardia Nacional when applicable. The merch custody chain is documented with signature, time and discreet photograph at every checkpoint: lateral dock entry, majordomo review, transfer to back-of-house, restocking during breaks, post-event pickup.

Salon Q-3 compliance and prohibitions

Salon Q-3 at Hacienda La Soledad has operating rules the merch must respect: no merch with noise or distraction elements during the gala dinner (rollerball pens must glide silently on the notebook), no backpacks or large bags in the Salon Q-3 dining room (guests use the protocol room for personal effects), no merch with competitor logos of the host corporate, no POP material not curated by the hacienda protocol director, no professional merch photography without the majordomo's written authorisation. For dinners requiring limited-edition merch (hand-embroidered placemat with monogram, signed book by the invited author, coaster with the anniversary year) we coordinate with the hacienda protocol director so the piece meets the viceregal protocol, the security protocol and the discretion protocol that a protocol dinner with institutional investors or commercial attachés requires.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with the 16% IVA breakdown and deductibility support as Investor Relations, Public Relations or Corporate Communication expense, depending on the merch use. For corporates with IMMEX operations we handle supplementary billing in USD with the foreign trade complement and USMCA compliance when the merch crosses the border as part of the institutional investor disclosure material abroad. For groups with dual listing (BMV and NYSE/Nasdaq) we handle bilingual billing (es/en) and USMCA compliance when the board kit crosses the border as part of the institutional investor disclosure material abroad. Merch is delivered with carta porte 3.0 when interstate transit applies (Queretaro-Mexico, Queretaro-Monterrey), with the foreign trade complement when applicable, and with the payment complement when the corporate pays in instalments.

Salon Q-3 Hacienda La Soledad FAQ

Can you deliver the VIP guest merch in the room before the guest arrives?

Yes — we deliver the guest merch in the room two days before the event, with the hacienda maid signature, delivery time and the protocol staff signature. The custody chain is documented with discreet photography when the viceregal protocol allows it, and is held in the majordomo's armoured room during the hours the room is not assigned to the guest.

Can you handle the merch for annual board retreats?

Yes — we handle annual scheduling with the same brand manual, scaling the run per the retreat agenda, special guests (international analysts, SAT observers when applicable, external corporate auditors), expected specialised press coverage and the board members actually attending. Coordination with the hacienda protocol direction for the menu curation, the embroidered linen and the year coasters.

Can you hand-embroider the guest monogram on the linen placemat and deliver it to laundry two days before?

Yes — we run hand embroidery in corporate-colour silk thread with direct delivery to the hacienda's laundry service two days before the event, with a control sheet per placemat and the laundry chief's signature. The embroidered placemat is pressed with the corporate viceregal mark and set in the dining room before the table service, grouped per table with the head waiter signature.

Is Corp-Merch an official partner of Salon Q-3 Hacienda La Soledad?

No. Corp-Merch.MX is an independent workshop for the curation, production and logistics of merch for Bajio executive galas, board retreats and protocol dinners with investors at Salon Q-3 and other restored colonial haciendas on the Queretaro olive corridor.
