Salon N-11: the room where the plant manager signs the IMMEX registration and the operator kit lands before the export manual

Salon N-11 sits inside one of the training complexes in the Bajio industrial plants (Queretaro, San Luis Potosi, Aguascalientes, Guanajuato) and the metropolitan area of Mexico City: a room with a central screen for the export manual projection, lecterns for the plant manager and the IMMEX instructor, a workstation for reviewing the export pedimentos, a holding foyer for working coffee, a dumbwaiter from the plant kitchen, and an independent access door for customs staff when they attend the training. This is where the IMMEX training of the Bajio OEM plants runs, where the USMCA compliance training for line operators takes place, where the rules-of-origin refreshers for the supply chain suppliers convene, and where the C-TPAT compliance workshops for the supply chain operators run. What separates Salon N-11 from a generic training room is the documentary chain: the operator kit enters before the export manual, exits signed by each operator at close, and respects the pedimento identification limits.

Salon N-11 logistics, access and custody

Salon N-11 runs on a freight dock shared with the plant shipping area: the lateral dock accepts 10-ton trailers within restricted hours and by prior booking, and the 3.5-ton box truck has its own ramp under permanent surveillance. Pedestrian freight access requires prior ID, the plant credential and a logbook signature from the compliance area; there is no informal access and no entry through the plant main door. The plant operations staff delivers the operator folder with visible ID and credential, and handles restocking during the coffee. Salon N-11's back-of-house has three areas: the training holding foyer (where the folder is staged), the review room (where the remaining merch sits in sealed boxes) and the instructor's room (where reserved material is kept under signature).

For training sessions with SAT or customs official presence, we handle invoicing in MXN with the 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as IMMEX Compliance or Operator Training expense in the plant's fiscal close. For sessions with international foreign trade consultant presence (typically from the US, Canada, Europe and Asia), we handle invoicing in USD at the Banco de Mexico FIX rate from the day before the session, with USMCA compliance. The merch chain of custody is documented with signature, time stamp and photo at every checkpoint: dock entry, compliance inspection, back-of-house transfer, restocking during the coffee, post-session pickup.

Salon N-11 confidentiality, compliance and restrictions

Salon N-11 enforces operating rules the merch must respect: phones off inside the room during the training (operators leave their phones in the holding foyer), no merch with noise or distraction elements, no large backpacks or bags inside the room (operators leave their gear in the foyer), no POP material carrying competitor logos (frequently requested by plants), no outside food or beverages beyond the plant catering service, no non-uniformed personnel in the back-of-house during the session. For sessions that require limited-edition merchandising (numbered plant anniversary plaque, book signed by the guest manual author, paperweight stamped with the IMMEX certification year), we coordinate with the plant compliance area to ensure the piece clears the security protocol, the C-TPAT protocol and the pedimento identification protocol.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with the 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as IMMEX Compliance, Operator Training or Foreign Trade expense depending on how the merch is used. For plants with IMMEX operations or US exposure we handle complementary invoicing in USD with the foreign trade complement and USMCA compliance when the merch crosses the border as part of the training material for the plant operator in the US. For groups with Mexico and US operations, we handle bilingual (es/en) invoicing and USMCA compliance. Merch is delivered with carta porte 3.0 when interstate or international transit applies, with the foreign trade complement when applicable, and with the payment complement when the plant pays in instalments.

Salon N-11 frequently asked questions

Can you deliver the operator folder with a per-operator signed receipt?

Yes — we deliver the folder with a per-operator (not per-session) signed receipt, with the operator or supervisor's signature, the delivery time stamp and the signature of the uniformed delivery staff. The chain of custody is documented with photos when the plant protocol allows, and the folder stays in a sealed envelope throughout the day for return at the close of the training.

Can you handle merch for training that repeats at every USMCA update?

Yes — we run a quarterly cadence with the same brand manual, scaling the run size to the cohort and the special guests (SAT officials, customs brokers, international foreign trade consultants). Coordination with the plant manager for the editorial curation of the folder.

Can you invoice the merch as IMMEX Compliance expense?

Yes — we issue CFDI 4.0 to the SAT with the 16% IVA breakdown and deduction support as IMMEX Compliance, Operator Training or Foreign Trade expense depending on how the merch is used. For plants with international operations we handle complementary invoicing in USD with the foreign trade complement and USMCA compliance.

Is Corp-Merch an official partner of Salon N-11?

No. Corp-Merch.MX is an independent atelier of curation, production and logistics for merch at IMMEX training sessions, USMCA refreshers and C-TPAT workshops in Salon N-11 and other Mexico City and Bajio venues.
