Salon L-3: the war-room where the crisis committee decides whether the plant stays open and the responder kit lands before the first STPS call

Salon L-3 is a crisis-management room in a logistics-focused industrial park: 85-inch touchscreen with the real-time control dashboard, backup projector, 18 monitoring stations in a horseshoe with dual screens, video conferencing for four simultaneous links, round-the-clock coffee service, dock with night access, audio system with individual mics to record the session. Plant shutdown war-rooms run here, along with crisis committees for union blockades, contingencies for industrial accidents with STPS presence, briefings with the destination OEM in the US when line stoppage hits, and incident-closure sessions with the fire brigade and civil protection. What sets Salon L-3 apart is not the staging (which is austere and operational) but the speed: every merch piece has to land signed for by the receiving responder, exit with the warehouse control sheet, and let the crisis committee operate for 12 straight hours without merch logistics delaying a single call.

Salon L-3 logistics, access and chain of custody

Salon L-3 runs on a freight dock shared with the campus plants and operates around the clock: the lateral dock accepts 12-ton trailers without hour restrictions while a crisis is active, and the 3.5-ton box truck has its own ramp on the east side. Pedestrian freight access requires prior ID, campus credential, logbook signature and emergency protocol compliance; there is no informal access and no entry through the main door. Campus operations staff delivers the POP material and the responder kits with visible ID and credential, and handles restocking during continuous coffee break recesses. Salon L-3's back-of-house has two areas: the crisis control room (where the responder kit is staged and the per-shift delivery is signed) and the emergency store (where the remaining merch sits in sealed boxes bearing the corporate seal).

For war-rooms with international OEM presence (typically from the US, Canada, Germany or Japan), we handle invoicing in USD at the Banco de Mexico FIX rate from the day before the event, with USMCA compliance and support for deduction as civil-protection expense or International Client Relations expense in the corporate fiscal close. For war-rooms with STPS or civil-protection presence, we handle compliance with the campus emergency protocol and the STPS protocol when applicable. The merch chain of custody is documented with signature, time stamp and photo at every checkpoint: dock entry, operations inspection, back-of-house transfer, restocking during recesses, post-event pickup.

Salon L-3 confidentiality, compliance and restrictions

Salon L-3 enforces operating rules the merch must respect: no camera phones inside the room during incident reviews, no merch with noise or distraction elements, no large backpacks or bags inside the room (responders leave their gear in the control room), no POP material carrying competitor logos to the destination OEM, no outside food or beverages beyond the campus catering service. For sessions that require limited-edition merchandising (numbered anniversary polo, tool engraved with the year, paperweight stamped with incident close), we coordinate with campus operations to ensure the piece clears the emergency protocol, the USMCA compliance protocol and the traceability protocol when the war-room requires serial-number inventory control of the merch.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with the 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as civil-protection expense, IMMEX operations expense or International Client Relations expense depending on how the merch is used. For corporates with IMMEX operations or US exposure, we handle complementary invoicing in USD with USMCA compliance support when the merch crosses the border as part of the compliance material for the destination OEM. For plants with dual listings (BMV and NYSE/Nasdaq), we handle bilingual (es/en) invoicing and USMCA compliance when the responder kit crosses the border as part of the compliance material for the OEM resident abroad. Merch is delivered with carta porte 3.0 when interstate or international transit applies, with the foreign trade complement when applicable, and with the payment complement when the corporate pays in instalments.
