Salon F-9: where the IDB mission approves the Queretaro aqueduct loan and the project scale model lands before the morning coffee

Salon F-9 occupies the executive floor of a development banking tower in Polanco: a main hall with oval table for 18 multilateral delegates, a lectern with LED wall for the project presentation, a video-conference suite with dedicated line to Washington, a map room with the institution's historical project archive, an annual-report library, a protocol kitchen and two pedestrian accesses: a main one with biometric turnstile and a service one with notarial logbook. This is where IDB and IDB Invest supervision missions run, where CAF sovereign loan approvals and partial credit guarantees happen, where IFC and World Bank project missions convene, where SHCP directorates meet the multilaterals, where FONPLATA regional project missions land, where the NDB (BRICS Development Bank) technical committee meetings convene when applicable, and where the working breakfasts with resident multilateral delegates run. What separates Salon F-9 is not the historical archive but the cadence of the multilateral protocol: the project scale model arrives before coffee, the project memo signed by the mission chief exits at close, and the international delegate recognition crosses the border under USMCA compliance.

Salon F-9 logistics, access and agreement custody

Salon F-9 runs on a dedicated basement loading dock: heavy freight (boxes with merch, project scale model, agreement documentation) goes up the west-wing freight elevator with restricted hours and notarial logbook. Light freight goes up the service elevator with prior ID and institution credential. The institution operations team signs the merch entry and walks it to the anteroom where it is staged on a side table. The map room has a secure holding area with boxes sealed under the institution stamp for sensitive material (legal opinions, executor due diligence, environmental and social management plans), and the protocol kitchen has a locked cabinet for the international delegate hospitality. The notary attesting to the agreement and to the project memo signature has a dedicated cubicle, with paperwork on security paper and notarial seal.

For missions with international delegate presence (typically Washington, Buenos Aires, Bogota, Panama City and Brasilia), we handle invoicing in USD at the Banco de Mexico FIX rate from the day before delivery, with USMCA compliance and support for deduction as Multilateral Financing, Project Management or International Institution Relations expense in the executor fiscal close. For missions with SHCP, UIF or CNBV official presence, we handle the institution security protocol and the Policia Bancaria e Industrial protocol when applicable. The merch chain of custody is documented with signature, time stamp, photograph and seal number at every checkpoint: dock entry, operations review, anteroom staging, restocking during the mission, post-event collection.

Salon F-9 confidentiality, compliance and restrictions

Salon F-9 enforces operating rules the merch must respect: no phones in the main hall during working sessions, no merch with noise or visual distraction elements, no backpacks inside the agreement room (delegates use lockers in the corridor), no POP material with third-party logos beyond the multilateral and the executor (per institution compliance), no outside food or beverage beyond the protocol kitchen service. For missions requiring limited-edition merchandising (numbered plate for the project close, book signed by the mission chief tracing the financing timeline, paperweight stamped with the agreement signing year), we coordinate with the institution operations area to ensure the piece clears the security protocol, the compliance protocol and the transmission protocol when the mission is internal and not broadcast.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with the 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as Multilateral Financing, Project Management or International Institution Relations expense depending on how the merch is used. For executors with IMMEX operations or US market exposure, we handle complementary invoicing in USD or EUR with USMCA compliance support when the merch crosses the border as part of the institution resident abroad disclosure material. For missions with IDB, World Bank, CAF, IFC, FONPLATA and NDB delegate presence, we handle bilingual (es/en) invoicing and USMCA compliance when applicable. The merch ships with carta porte 3.0 when interstate or international transit applies, with the foreign trade complement when applicable, and with the payment complement when the executor pays in instalments or against the agreement signature by the mission chief.

Salon F-9 MOQ, pricing and reservations

Project memo — from MXN 1,450 before VAT per piece at an 18-piece run. Project scale model — from MXN 95,000 before VAT per piece at a 1-piece run (pricing depends on scale and infrastructure project complexity). International delegate hospitality — from MXN 2,850 before VAT per piece at an 8-piece run. Mission chief recognition — from MXN 9,950 before VAT per piece at a 4-piece run. Pricing does not include the Salon F-9 rental, which is quoted directly with the institution events area depending on the day, the hours, the technical setup and the additional services (protocol kitchen, map room, dedicated video-conference suite).

For multilateral missions on high-demand dates (IDB supervision missions, CAF sovereign loan approvals, IFC infrastructure project missions) we block the calendar 30 days ahead with a firm written commitment. For missions on low-demand dates we block 14 days ahead. Express production under 14 days carries a +35% surcharge for the curation and dispatch. The reservation runs on a fourteen-point brief: mission date, multilateral institution, financing amount, tenor, subprojects, delegate count, pieces per package, executor brand manual, institution protocol, transmission compliance, freight logistics, post-event donation, SAT invoicing and USMCA compliance when the merch crosses the border.

Salon F-9 frequently asked questions

Can you deliver the project memo with a receipt signature per delegation?

Yes — we deliver the memo with a receipt per delegation (not per individual delegate), signed by the mission chief or lead sector analyst, with delivery time and the uniformed staff signature. The chain of custody is documented with photograph when institution protocol allows, and the memo is held in sealed envelopes through the mission for return at close.

Can you handle the merch for semi-annual missions?

Yes — we run semi-annual programming with the same executor and institution brand manual, scaling the run by project stage (preparation, approval, supervision, close) and invited delegates (IDB, CAF, IFC, World Bank, FONPLATA, NDB). Coordination with the executor Project Management office for the editorial curation of the memo.

Can you invoice the merch as a multilateral financing expense?

Yes — we issue CFDI 4.0 to the SAT with the 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as Multilateral Financing, Project Management or International Institution Relations expense depending on how the merch is used. For executors with IMMEX operations, we handle complementary invoicing in USD with the foreign trade complement and USMCA compliance.

Is Corp-Merch an official partner of Salon F-9 or any multilateral institution?

No. Corp-Merch.MX is an independent curation, production and logistics workshop for merch at multilateral missions and agreement signings at Salon F-9 and other Mexico City venues.
