Salon C-13: where the innovation committee approves the AI sprint and the CTO kit lands before the demo

Salon C-13 sits on the 9th floor where the innovation and digital transformation committees of BMV-listed corporates and IMMEX subsidiaries with US parents meet every two months: seven horseshoe-arranged seats, a lectern for the CTO or head of innovation, a five-metre LED screen with simultaneous projection of the AI roadmap and the digital adoption metrics, an annexed room with a phone line for calls with the AI provider and the innovation lab, a sealed chamber for the roadmap annexes and a closed kitchen with discreet service. This is where the generative AI and automation sprints get approved, where the year technology investments get signed off, where coinvestments with Mexican tech startups get decided and where the corporate digital transformation projects get final approval. What separates Salon C-13 is the demo ritual: the CTO kit enters before the demo, exits signed for by each member at close and lets the head of innovation archive the plan without the merch pulling attention from the roadmap.

Salon C-13 logistics, access and custody

Salon C-13 operates with an independent 9th-floor freight dock: the side dock takes a 3.5-tonne van on a restricted shift. Access requires pre-registration, a complex-issued badge and a signed floor log; the roadmap annexes are moved straight from the dock to the sealed chamber without going through the lobby. The Salon C-13 operations team delivers the committee material with visible ID and is responsible for safeguarding the material not delivered to the floor chamber. The annexed room with a phone line is used for calls with the AI provider, with the innovation lab or with the coinvestment fund when the session needs real-time consultation.

For sessions with international AI providers (from the US, Israel or Europe), we invoice in USD at the Banco de México FIX exchange rate of the day before, with USMCA compliance and support for deduction as an Innovation or Digital Transformation expense in the corporate fiscal close. For startup coinvestment sessions, we issue complementary invoicing in USD and USMCA compliance when the roadmap crosses the border as part of the parent's innovation archive. The merch custody chain is documented with signature, time and seal at each control point: dock intake, operations inspection, transfer to the sealed chamber, delivery to the CTO, recess restocking, post-session pickup, return of surplus to the corporate.

Salon C-13 confidentiality, compliance and prohibitions

Salon C-13 has operating rules the merch must respect: no mobile phone use in the room during the AI demo, no merch items with unauthorised electronic elements, no backpacks or bags in the room (committee members use the sealed chamber for their gear), no POP material bearing third-party logos when the roadmap is being discussed, no food or beverages other than the 9th-floor kitchen service. For sessions requiring limited-edition merchandising (outgoing CTO signed book, AI sprint anniversary paperweight, digital transformation year plaque), we coordinate with the complex operations area to make sure the piece complies with the security protocol, the innovation protocol and the roadmap archival protocol.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as an Innovation, Digital Transformation or Technology expense, depending on the merch use. For corporates with IMMEX or US operations we issue complementary invoicing in USD or EUR and support USMCA compliance when the roadmap crosses the border as part of the parent's innovation archive. For groups with dual listing (BMV and NYSE/Nasdaq) we issue bilingual (es/en) invoicing and USMCA compliance when the committee material crosses the border as part of the 10-K archive. The merch ships with carta porte 3.0 when interstate or international transit applies, with the foreign trade complement where applicable, and with the payment complement when the corporate pays in instalments.
