Salon C-11: where the family decides the succession of the wealth and the heir kit arrives before the will

Salon C-11 sits on the 6th floor of the Polanco lower-floor corridor where Mexican family offices and entrepreneurial families run their quarterly wealth governance meetings: 10 horseshoe-arranged seats with a continuous table, a lectern for the patriarch or matriarch, a five-metre LED screen with simultaneous projection of the wealth balance and the investment portfolio, an annexed room with a phone line for calls with the private banker, the family officer and the tax advisor where applicable, a sealed chamber for the will annexes and family protocols and a closed kitchen with discreet service. This is where the family offices controlling industrial groups with operations in Mexico, the US and Latin America meet, where entrepreneurial families in generational transition gather, where private investment trusts with double tax residency assemble and where the family investment club assemblies run. What separates Salon C-11 is the family governance ritual: the heir kit enters before the will, exits signed for by each family member at close and lets the family officer archive the minutes without the merch pulling attention from the wealth balance.

Salon C-11 logistics, access and custody

Salon C-11 operates with an independent 6th-floor freight dock: the side dock takes a 3.5-tonne van on a restricted shift. Access requires pre-registration, a complex-issued badge and a signed floor log; the family protocol documentation is moved straight from the dock to the sealed chamber without going through the lobby. The Salon C-11 operations team delivers the family office material with visible ID and is responsible for safeguarding the material not delivered to the floor chamber. The annexed room with a phone line is used for calls with the private banker, with the family office accountant or with the notary when the session needs real-time consultation.

For meetings with international advisors (typically from the US, Europe or Canada), we invoice in USD at the Banco de México FIX exchange rate of the day before, with USMCA compliance and support for deduction as a Family Office or Wealth Advisory expense in the family office fiscal close. For meetings with double tax residency (Mexico-US), we issue complementary invoicing in USD and USMCA compliance when the family protocol crosses the border as part of the family office archive. The merch custody chain is documented with signature, time and seal at each control point: dock intake, operations inspection, transfer to the sealed chamber, delivery to the patriarch or matriarch, recess restocking, post-session pickup, return of surplus to the family office.

Salon C-11 confidentiality, compliance and prohibitions

Salon C-11 has operating rules the merch must respect: no mobile phone use in the room during the family protocol review, no merch items that would compromise family office confidentiality, no backpacks or bags in the room (family members use the sealed chamber for their gear), no POP material bearing third-party logos when the wealth succession is being discussed, no food or beverages other than the 6th-floor kitchen service. For meetings requiring limited-edition merchandising (patriarch or matriarch signed book, family protocol anniversary paperweight, generational transition year plaque), we coordinate with the complex operations area to make sure the piece complies with the security protocol, the family office protocol and the will archival protocol.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as a Family Office, Wealth Advisory or Private Investment expense, depending on the merch use. For family offices with double tax residency we issue complementary invoicing in USD or EUR and support USMCA compliance when the family protocol crosses the border as part of the wealth archive. For trusts with residency in the US or Canada we issue bilingual (es/en) invoicing and USMCA compliance when the family office material crosses the border as part of the trust archive. The merch ships with carta porte 3.0 when interstate or international transit applies, with the foreign trade complement where applicable, and with the payment complement when the family office pays in instalments.
