Salon B-5: the room where the CFO presents the 2027 guidance to Wall Street analysts and the institutional investor kit clears customs in 48 hours

Salon B-5 is the room reserved for Investor Days and institutional roadshows of IPC issuers with sell-side analyst coverage on BMV, NYSE, Nasdaq and LSE: 180 raked theatre seats with presidium table, lectern for six executives (CFO, CEO, COO, VP of Strategy, VP of Finance, Head of Investor Relations), 10-metre LED display with multi-screen presentation system, table microphone audio system, interactive voting for Q&A, adjacent waiting room for analysts and portfolio managers, one-on-one room for individual meetings with the top 10 sell-side analysts, adjacent press room for the financial media (Bloomberg, Reuters, El Economista, Expansion), videoconference room for direct link to analysts in New York, London, Sao Paulo and Toronto joining remotely, foyer for coffee break overlooking an interior garden. This is where IPC issuers with international coverage run their annual Investor Days: 2027-2030 strategy presentation, capex plan presentation, ESG targets presentation, EBITDA metrics presentation, debt issuance calendar presentation, dividend policy presentation, sustainability metrics presentation (environmental KPIs, social KPIs, governance KPIs). Quarterly CFO roadshow sell-side meetings also run here (10 to 15 one-on-one meetings per quarter), portfolio manager breakfasts, international analyst earnings calls. What separates Salon B-5 from a flashy ballroom is the regulatory compliance chain: the presentation must comply with CNBV relevant event regulations (when it contains material non-public information), with SEC Reg FD (Regulation Fair Disclosure) when applicable to the issuer with NYSE or Nasdaq listing, with the UK Listing Rules when applicable to the issuer with LSE listing, and with USMCA compliance when the merch crosses the border as part of the disclosure material for analysts resident abroad.

Salon B-5 logistics, access and chain of custody

Salon B-5 runs on a freight dock shared with the corporate Investor Relations directorate: the lateral dock accepts 1.5-ton box trucks within restricted hours from 06:00 to 10:00, with prior supplier identification, corporate credential and logbook signature with facial recognition. There is no informal access to Salon B-5: corporate operations staff escorts the supplier at all times, and the load is moved to the Investor Relations store with corporate security escort. For analysts resident abroad (typically the US, Canada, the UK and Europe), we handle international shipping via DHL Express or UPS with cargo insurance, recipient signature and encrypted email confirmation of delivery, 48 to 72 hours ahead of the Investor Day for the material to arrive on time. Salon B-5's back-of-house has four areas: the analyst waiting room (where coffee is served before the presentation), the one-on-one room (where individual CFO meetings are held), the press room (where the analyst kit is staged and the per-brokerage delivery is signed) and the Investor Relations store (where the remaining merch sits in sealed boxes bearing the corporate seal).

For Investor Days with international analyst presence (typically the US, Canada, the UK and Europe), we handle invoicing in USD at the Banco de Mexico FIX rate from the day before the Investor Day, with USMCA compliance and support for deduction as Investor Relations or Financial Communications expense in the corporate fiscal close. For Investor Days with international rating agency analyst presence (Moody's, S&P, Fitch, HR Ratings), we handle compliance with the corporate security protocol and the rating agency protocol when applicable. The merch chain of custody is documented with signature, timestamp, photo and facial recognition at every checkpoint: dock entry, operations inspection, transfer to the Investor Relations store, analyst signature upon receiving their kit, restocking during recesses, post-Investor Day pickup.

Salon B-5 confidentiality, compliance and restrictions

Salon B-5 enforces operating rules the merch must respect: no unauthorised recording devices during the Investor Day session (analysts may hand-write notes but cannot record), no merch with noise or distraction elements during the presentation, no backpacks or bags in the room (analysts use the corporate lockers), no POP material carrying third-party logos, no outside food or beverages beyond corporate catering, no disclosure material leaving before the presentation closes to avoid Reg FD material non-public information leaks when applicable to NYSE or Nasdaq listed issuers. For Investor Days that include new financial guidance or material non-public information, we coordinate with the Investor Relations director to ensure the merch clears the material non-public information protocol, the stock market disclosure protocol (BMV, NYSE, Nasdaq) and the blackout protocol when applicable.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with the 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as Investor Relations, Financial Communications or Public Relations expense depending on how the merch is used. For corporates with IMMEX operations or dual listings (BMV and NYSE/Nasdaq), we handle complementary invoicing in USD or EUR with USMCA compliance when the analyst kit crosses the border as part of the financial disclosure material for analysts resident abroad. For groups with operations in Turkey or Russia (through minority stakes or joint ventures), we handle complementary invoicing in TRY or RUB with compliance with local invoicing and foreign exchange regulations. Merch is delivered with carta porte 3.0 when interstate or international transit applies, with the foreign trade complement when applicable, and with the payment complement when the corporate pays in instalments.
