Salon B-13: the room where the Product Manager listens to the top 20 customers validate the 2027 roadmap and the CAB kit ships with a per-member NDA

Salon B-13 is the room reserved for the Customer Advisory Board (CAB) and Voice of the Customer (VOC) sessions of corporates with B2B products in Mexico, Latin America, the US, Canada, Europe and Asia: boardroom with 22-person oval table (18 CAB members + 4 corporate team members), seating for the CAB executive committee (Product Manager, Product Director, Customer Experience Director, Product Marketing Director), six 55-inch screens for product roadmap presentation, table microphone audio system, encrypted videoconference for CAB members joining remotely, interactive voting to validate roadmap priorities, presentation system for product prototypes, adjacent waiting room for CAB members, per-member NDA signing room, internal press room for corporate spokespersons. This is where CAB sessions run: next fiscal year product roadmap presentation, product prototype presentations, CAB member validation of roadmap priorities, VOC sessions with end users, co-creation sessions with strategic customers, existing feature feedback sessions, market trend forecasting sessions, competitive intelligence sessions with CAB members, benchmarking sessions with mature product customers. What separates Salon B-13 from a generic boardroom is the product confidentiality chain: the CAB kit must arrive with the NDA signed by each CAB member, with the product prototype under confidentiality agreement, with the roadmap documentation under confidentiality agreement, and with personalised merch the CAB member will use in their day-to-day after the CAB session at their own offices.

Salon B-13 logistics, access and chain of custody

Salon B-13 runs on a freight dock shared with the corporate Product directorate: the lateral dock accepts 1.5-ton box trucks within restricted hours from 06:00 to 10:00, with prior supplier identification, corporate credential and logbook signature with facial recognition. For kits of CAB members joining remotely (typically the US, Canada, the UK, Europe and Asia), we handle international shipping via DHL Express or UPS with cargo insurance, recipient signature and encrypted email confirmation of delivery, 5 to 7 business days ahead of the CAB so the kit arrives on time. For CAB members resident in Mexico, we handle national shipping via Estafeta, FedEx, DHL or UPS with cargo insurance, recipient signature and corporate email confirmation. Salon B-13's back-of-house has three areas: the CAB member waiting room (where coffee is served before the CAB), the NDA signing room (where each CAB member's NDA is signed) and the CAB store (where merch sits in sealed boxes bearing the corporate seal with key held by the Product Director).

For CABs with international CAB member presence (typically the US, Canada, the UK, Europe and Asia), we handle invoicing in USD, EUR, GBP or local currency at the Banco de Mexico FIX rate from the day before the shipment, with USMCA compliance when the kit crosses the border into the US or Canada, and with local invoicing and foreign exchange compliance when the kit crosses into Turkey, Russia, the UK, Europe or Asia. For CABs with market research firm representative presence (Gartner, Forrester, IDC, Statista), we handle compliance with the corporate security protocol and the market research firm protocol when applicable. The merch chain of custody is documented with signature, timestamp, photo and facial recognition at every checkpoint: dock entry, operations inspection, transfer to the CAB store, CAB member NDA signature upon receiving their kit, restocking during recesses, post-CAB pickup.

Salon B-13 confidentiality, compliance and restrictions

Salon B-13 enforces operating rules the merch must respect: no personal devices (phones, laptops, tablets) inside the CAB room — only the secure corporate or CAB member laptops are permitted, no merch with noise or distraction elements during the session, no backpacks or bags in the room (CAB members use the CAB kit as their only belongings), no POP material carrying corporate competitors' logos, no outside food or beverages beyond corporate catering, no merch leaving Salon B-13 without written authorisation from the Product Director. For CABs that contain classified product roadmap information (unpublished features, launch dates, adoption metrics, competitive analysis), we coordinate with the corporate legal directorate to ensure the merch clears the NDA protocol, the roadmap disclosure protocol and the product intellectual property protocol.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with the 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as Product Management, Customer Experience or Market Research expense depending on how the merch is used. For corporates with IMMEX operations or US exposure, we handle complementary invoicing in USD with USMCA compliance when the CAB member kit crosses the border as part of the CAB material for CAB members resident abroad. For groups with operations in Turkey or Russia (through minority stakes or joint ventures), we handle complementary invoicing in TRY or RUB with compliance with local invoicing and foreign exchange regulations. Merch is delivered with carta porte 3.0 when interstate or international transit applies, with the foreign trade complement when applicable, and with the payment complement when the corporate pays in instalments.
