Salon A-9: the room where the partner of the year takes the stage and the channel VP announces next quarter's incentive programme

Salon A-9 is the partner summit room of the corporate campus: 360 square metres in an amphitheatre layout with capacity for 280 seated, central stage with a 10-metre LED backdrop screen, immersive audio system with wireless microphones, four breakout rooms adjacent with capacity for 40 people each, foyer for the coffee break, exhibition space for strategic partner booths with power and connectivity. This is where the annual strategic partner summits run, where the channel conferences of hardware and software manufacturers land, where the wholesaler and distributor summits gather, where the service partner loyalty events happen, where the regional partner meetings of the technology alliances run, and where the new partner programme kick-offs open. What distinguishes Salon A-9 is the mix: the corporate presents next year's plans and the partners share last year's best practices, in an alternating sequence that requires the merch to work in both roles.

Salon A-9 logistics, access and booth rotation

Salon A-9 runs on two freight accesses: the lateral dock of the campus (open 6:00 to 22:00, trailers up to 12 tons) and the underground parking ramp (open 8:00 to 20:00, 3.5-ton limit per vehicle). The lateral dock is the only one that accepts a full freight trailer with the partner booths and the programme product displays; the parking ramp accepts the 3.5-ton box truck and two cargo vans simultaneously. The summit setup window is 18 to 24 hours before doors open and the teardown window is 6 to 10 hours after close. The campus operations staff audits each merch box with a metal detector and a visual inspection; booth material requires an entry guide signed by the booth organiser and the summit operations lead.

For summits with international partner presence (typically from the US, Canada, Europe, Asia and Latin America), we handle invoicing in USD at the Banco de Mexico FIX rate from the day before the summit, with USMCA compliance and deduction support as Marketing or Channel expense in the corporate fiscal close. For summits with IMMEX or US partner operations, we handle complementary invoicing to the SAT with the 16% IVA breakdown and USMCA compliance support when the merch crosses the border as part of the international partner recognition. The merch chain of custody is documented with signature, time stamp and photo at every checkpoint.

Salon A-9 compliance, restrictions and permits

Salon A-9 enforces operating rules the merch must respect: no pyrotechnics inside the room (allowed in the side garden with campus and Civil Protection permits), no merch with sharp edges or cutting elements, no merch with flammable materials, no pets, no outside food or beverages beyond the summit's kitchen service or the committee's authorised caterers. For summits that require limited-edition merch (numbered anniversary partner programme backpack, book tracing the corporate's partner history, paperweight engraved with the programme year), we coordinate with the campus operations team to ensure the piece clears the security protocol and the broadcast protocol when the summit is transmitted to the regional offices.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with the 16% IVA breakdown and deduction support as Marketing, Channel or Partner Relations expense depending on how the merch is used. For corporates with IMMEX or US exposure, we handle complementary invoicing in USD or EUR with USMCA compliance support when the merch crosses the border as part of the international partner recognition. Merch is delivered with carta porte 3.0 when interstate or international transit applies, with the foreign trade complement when applicable, and with the payment complement when the corporate pays in instalments.
