Salon A-2: the room where the cocktail starts at seven and the first business card gets signed before seven-ten

Salon A-2 is the reception hall of the corporate campus: 320 square metres of open floor, capacity for 180 guests in a standing cocktail layout with catering islands, central mixology bar and wine cellar, low stage for a DJ or live music, dimmable lighting system, direct exit to the side garden with capacity for 80 additional guests. This is where the financial groups run their after-offices, where the embassies host their diplomatic receptions, where the sector conferences close out, where the trade-treaty delegations (USMCA, Pacific Alliance, CPTPP) land, and where the corporate anniversary parties run. What defines Salon A-2 is the cadence: the average guest stays 90 minutes, talks to 8 to 12 people, and the memory of the event is measured by the quality of the opening conversation and the physical object they take home at the end of the night.

Salon A-2 logistics, access and service cadence

Salon A-2 runs on two freight accesses: the lateral dock of the campus (open 14:00 to 22:00, trailers up to 12 tons) and the underground parking ramp (open 16:00 to 21:00, 3.5-ton limit per vehicle). The lateral dock is the only one that accepts a full freight trailer; the parking ramp accepts the 3.5-ton box truck and two cargo vans simultaneously. The room setup window is 6 to 10 hours before doors open and the teardown window is 2 to 4 hours after close. The campus operations staff audits each merch box with a metal detector and a visual inspection; POP material (banners, displays, backings) requires an entry guide signed by the organiser and the room operations lead.

For receptions with diplomatic presence (EU, Asian and US embassies), we handle compliance with the campus security protocol and the Policia Bancaria e Industrial protocol when applicable, with pieces free of third-party logos or with digital suppression when the corporate manual requires it. For cocktails with international production (IMMEX, US, Asia), we handle invoicing in USD at the Banco de Mexico rate of the day and compliance with the room's RFC requirement (the room requires an invoice with a valid RFC to authorise merch entry). The merch is delivered with a parcel waybill and signature from the corporate lead and the room operations lead, and documented with entry and exit photography.

Salon A-2 compliance, restrictions and permits

Salon A-2 enforces operating rules the merch must respect: no pyrotechnics inside the room (allowed in the side garden with campus and Civil Protection permits), no merch with sharp edges or cutting elements, no merch with flammable materials, no pets, no outside food or beverages beyond the room's kitchen service or the committee's authorised caterers. For receptions that require limited-edition merch (numbered anniversary polo, book signed by the guest author, copper paperweight engraved with the year), we coordinate with the room operations team to ensure the piece clears the security protocol and the diplomatic protocol when applicable.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with the 16% IVA breakdown and deduction support as Marketing or Public Relations expense. For corporates with IMMEX or US exposure, we handle complementary invoicing in USD or EUR with USMCA compliance support when the merch crosses the border as part of the hospitality kit. Merch is delivered with carta porte 3.0 when interstate or international transit applies, with the foreign trade complement when applicable, and with the payment complement when the corporate pays in instalments. The merch chain of custody is documented with photo, signature and time stamp at every checkpoint.

Take-home merch — from USD 28 per piece at a 150-piece run.
For receptions on high-demand dates (quarter-end after-offices, diplomatic receptions, corporate anniversary parties) we block the calendar 60 days ahead with a firm written commitment.
