Axis 1 · Sectors that hire corporate merch in Mexico

The sectors with the highest volume of corporate merch contracting in Mexico are five. IMMEX manufacturing in the Bajío corridor and the north of the country — Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Aguascalientes, Nuevo León, Chihuahua, Sonora. Financial services and fintech headquartered in CDMX with growing operations in Guadalajara and Monterrey. Mass consumer with plants in the Valley of Mexico, Monterrey and Guadalajara, and national commercial operations. Federal, state and municipal government with public tenders and consolidated purchases. Private higher education with presence in CDMX, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Puebla.

Each sector has a typical brief, a peak-season calendar, a characteristic MOQ and a set of applicable NOMs. When you operate in one of these sectors, the brief starts from a pre-filled template that reduces quoting time.

Axis 2 · Regions and cities

Operation is concentrated in six cities: CDMX and metro area as the commercial and operational center of gravity; Guadalajara as the hub of the west and the electronics industry; Monterrey as the hub of the north and heavy manufacturing; Querétaro as the hub of the Bajío industrial corridor; Puebla and Tlaxcala as the central-east hub; Mérida and Cancún as the southeast and tourism hub. Each city has a local owner with knowledge of the corporate clients in their region.

Cities with direct operating presence are covered with own transport or with national logistics operators with agreed SLA. For deliveries in secondary cities — Tijuana, León, Veracruz, Oaxaca, Cuernavaca — we work with specialized carriers and program with longer lead times.

Axis 3 · Print methods and when each applies

The print method is chosen based on the product type, quantity, number of logo colors and required finish. Screen print for runs over 50 pieces with one to four colors on flat textile product — t-shirts, bags, aprons. Embroidery for polos, jackets, caps, backpacks and towels; adds a fixed programming fee but brings presentation. Sublimation for white pieces with full-color print on polyester — sport t-shirts, mugs, plates. Digital transfer for short runs with gradients, photos or special effects, with no effective MOQ per color. Laser engraving for metals, acrylics, woods and leathers; permanent mark with premium presentation. DTF (Direct-to-Film) for short runs with photography on dark or cotton textiles.

When a program combines several methods, the shop is scheduled by line: screen on one line, embroidery on another, engraving on another. The main method is always chosen after evaluating the alternative for the same product.

Axis 4 · Product types and frequent SKUs

Product types are grouped into six families. Textile: t-shirts, polos, Oxford shirts, jackets, hoodies, caps, aprons, gowns, overalls. Bags and backpacks: corporate backpacks, jute bags, totes, briefcases, laptop sleeves, fanny packs. Drinkware: tumblers, cylinders, ceramic mugs, travel mugs, aluminum bottles, glass jars. Stationery and office: A4 and A5 notebooks, planners, metal and recycled-cardboard pens, desk sets, wood and metal USBs. Technology: power banks, wireless chargers, bluetooth speakers, headphones, smartwatches, USB hubs. Sets and kits: welcome kits, recognition kits, press kits, courtesy kits, beverage sets.

Each family has a characteristic SKU with its MOQ, applicable NOM and price curve. When a program combines several families, it is quoted as a kit and scheduled as staggered production by family.

Axis 5 · Use cases by audience

Use cases are grouped by audience. Collaborators: operating uniform, seniority recognition, year-end, sales campaign, internal product launch. Clients: loyalty, anniversary, holiday gift, referral program. Press: launch press kit, fair press kit, anniversary press kit. VIP and speaking: congress kit, forum kit, gala kit. Prospection: fair kit, cold outreach kit, sponsorship kit. Community and alumni: alumni kit, member kit, donor kit.

Each use case has a typical brief, a per-recipient investment range, a recommended kit composition and a size curve when textile applies. The combination of use case + audience + investment range + event date determines the brief.

Axis 6 · Bundling and frequent combinations

The most contracted bundlings in the Mexican corporate merch market are: welcome kit for new-hire collaborators with backpack, notebook, pen, tumbler and welcome card; recognition kit for collaborators with five, ten, fifteen and twenty years of seniority with engraved plate, rigid box, signed letter and commemorative piece; trade show kit for fair booths with banner, totes, brochure, card and samples; VIP kit for forum or gala attendees with rigid box, premium piece, letter and event agenda; speaking kit for speakers with document holder, A5 notebook, fountain pen and thank-you letter.

Bundlings are offered as a starting point, not as a closed package. Each client adjusts the kit composition to their specific brief and investment range.

How the six axes connect

The topic map works as a matrix: every combination of sector × region × method × product type × use case × bundling has a page or set of pages on this site. When you arrive at the site with a specific query — “I need t-shirts for eight hundred collaborators at the Querétaro plant for year-end” — the topic map points navigation to the page that best answers it. If the query does not have a dedicated page, we cover it with a direct brief to the commercial area.
