Boutique hotels and resorts

We work with boutique hotels in Riviera Maya, Tulum, Holbox, Bacalar, Mérida, San Miguel de Allende, Sayulita, Punta Mita, Los Cabos and the greater CDMX area. The typical programme combines operational uniform for staff — t-shirt, polo, skirt, shirt — with welcome kits for guests — tote bag, mug, jug, beach towel, sandal. Typical volume is two hundred to six hundred uniforms per property per year and three hundred to fifteen hundred kits per property per year.

The aesthetic of tourism merch demands attention to detail. T-shirts are requested in colours that blend with the hotel palette — sand, turquoise, off-white, olive — and embroidery in tone-on-tone thread or subtle contrast. When the hotel has a brand manual we respect it; when it does not, we propose palette and typography aligned with the place's aesthetic. Delivery is coordinated with the destination's high season.

Tour operators and DMCs

Tour operators — those who put together single or multi-day experiences with transport, food and guide — handle uniform for guides and merch for travellers. Guide uniform is usually a logo polo t-shirt, hat or cap, activity backpack and identification vest. Typical volume is thirty to one hundred and fifty uniforms per season, with renewal every twelve to eighteen months.

DMCs — Destination Management Companies — handle merch for MICE groups in venue: congresses, incentives, conventions, destination weddings. Typical volume is fifty to three hundred kits per event with composition by audience — DMC staff, hotel staff, VIP guests, corporate customer guests. Delivery is aligned with the venue's dock window and the DMC operations lead.

Culinary and adventure experiences

Culinary experiences — chef dinners, wine and mezcal tastings, food tours, festivals — handle merch for diners and uniform for service staff. The most requested piece is the fabric backpack or shopping bag with the venue motif, followed by the cap, apron and souvenir kit with local product. Typical volume is one hundred to eight hundred pieces per season.

Adventure experiences — diving in Cozumel, surfing in Sayulita, hiking in Copper Canyon, rappelling in Huasteca Potosina, kayaking in Bacalar — handle operational uniform with sun and water resistance, plus merch for participants. The most requested piece is the quick-dry t-shirt with UPF 50+ protection, waterproof backpack and microfibre towel. Typical volume is fifty to four hundred pieces per season.

Destination weddings and private events

Destination weddings in Riviera Maya, Tulum, Los Cabos, San Miguel de Allende and Mérida handle welcome kits for guests — tote bag with the date and names, fan, hat, beach kit, local beverage, regional sweets — and merch for the couple and immediate family — personalised t-shirts, mugs with the date, keepsake album. Typical volume is thirty to two hundred kits per wedding.

Corporate private events in venue — product launches, company anniversaries, leadership retreats — handle kits with audience-specific composition. Delivery is coordinated with the venue, the wedding planner or the corporate event lead. Billing is broken down by product line and, where applicable, by event within the annual programme.

Airlines and tourism transport

Airlines operating in Mexico handle uniform for cabin crew and merch for frequent flyers. TCP uniform requires SCT compliance and airline compliance, with specific fibre composition — flame resistance per standard — and marking with high-visibility threads. Typical volume is four hundred to two thousand uniforms per year per fleet.

Tourism transport operators — vans, shuttles, tour buses, transfers — handle operational uniform for drivers and guides, with polo t-shirts and identification vests. Typical volume is twenty to one hundred uniforms per fleet, with renewal every twelve months. Billing is per fleet or per business group when the operator runs multiple fleets.

What tourism clients value

The most recurring point is on-time delivery for high season. The Mexican Caribbean's high season runs November to April; the Mexican Pacific's runs December to March; the interior runs October to March plus July-August on school holidays. When a client requests merch for high season, planning kicks off four to six months in advance. When they kick off late, we adjust capacity and, where it is not possible, we say so before committing.

The second point is product resistance to tourism use. Hotels and experiences test merch with chlorine, salt, sweat and sun. When a t-shirt fades on first wash, the hotel discards it and the workshop's reputation takes a hit. So we use proven inks and processes — water-based ink with 160 °C cure for fifteen seconds, embroidery with 40 wt polyester thread — and we recommend lab tests the client should run before accepting the run.

The third point is reading the cultural context. A Riviera Maya resort does not want the same logo typography as a Baja winery. An adventure DMC does not want the same palette as an urban luxury hotel. When the client has a brand manual we follow it to the letter; when they don't, we propose palette, typography and composition aligned with the place and the guest profile.

What they push us to improve

The most recurring improvement request is the documentation that goes to the guest. When a kit includes local products — honey, coffee, salsa, chocolate — the guest wants to know the producer's story. We produce labels with the producer's story in Spanish and English, with a QR code that leads to the producer's page or a short video. The extra cost is marginal and the perceived value for the guest is high.

The second point is response speed for short-notice events. Private events and destination weddings usually confirm numbers one to three weeks ahead. We run a dedicated stock for these cases with fast production — five to ten business days — for catalogue pieces. When the piece is personalised and the quantity small, the unit cost rises with the run curve; it is quoted separately and validated with the client before production.
