On the applicable regulatory basis

The Normas Oficiales Mexicanas (NOMs) that apply to corporate merch depend on the product type. For textiles, NOM-004-SCFI-2006 governs, setting commercial information requirements on the label: manufacturer or importer name or legal name, country of origin, composition in percentage, care instructions in Spanish, and size where applicable. For electrical and electronic items such as power banks, USB drives, headphones or bluetooth speakers, NOM-024-SCFI-2013 governs with mandatory commercial information; when the product connects to mains power, NOM-003-SCFI-2014 on electrical equipment safety also applies.

When we pack sets with tequila, wine, mezcal, cider or rompope under NOM-141-SSA1-SCFI-2012, we verify denomination of origin, net content, alcohol by volume, batch, expiration date, ingredients, warning legends and authorized producer data. We only work with beverages that carry the complete documentation, because a set without documentation exposes the end client to a PROFECO sanction and a SSA callout.

On the internal management system

We operate under an internal quality management system aligned to ISO 9001:2015: customer focus, leadership, people engagement, process approach, continuous improvement, evidence-based decision making and relationship management. Coverage runs from brief reception to delivery of finished product, with assigned owners per stage and traceable documentation.

When the client requires formal third-party certification, we deliver a shop compliance letter, documented evidence of the system, and reference to suppliers with their own certification. Formal ISO 9001 certification of our shop depends on the scope and volume of the client — ask us about your case.

On production quality control

Quality control applies at five points of the process. Fabric inspection: weight, color against Pantone, shrinkage and defect check before cutting. Pre-print: color separation against the approved artwork, tension test and registration. In-line: review of each printed, embroidered or sublimated garment — uniforms with correct color and position, no visible defects. Post-production: assembly, seams, labels, individual packaging. Pre-pack: random sampling of the lot, size verification, packing by recipient block.

For runs above one thousand units, in-line quality control includes AQL sampling under ISO 2859-1 level 2.5 or 4.0 depending on product type. For small runs (under one hundred units), inspection is one hundred percent manual by the quality team. When the product has critical tolerances — exact color, fine registration, finish — we run a pilot of five to ten pieces before full production.

On non-conformities, complaints and returns

When an order shows a non-conformity — print defect, out-of-spec color, wrong size, damaged packaging, late delivery — we log the incident, identify the root cause, define corrective and preventive action, and notify the client with resolution options: replacement at no cost, credit note for the next order, or return with refund. Incident traceability is kept in our system for at least three years for audit purposes.

For corporate clients with their own quality system we deliver an 8D or equivalent format with root cause analysis, corrective action and effectiveness verification. The lead time is five to ten business days depending on incident complexity. When the incident is attributable to the client — wrong approved artwork, wrong size collection, incomplete brief — the repeat policy applies with discount and the lesson learned is documented for the next brief.

On documented evidence

For corporate clients with their own quality system, within 48 business hours of request we deliver: product technical sheet, certificate of origin, laboratory test certificate when applicable, shop compliance letter, evidence of compliance with the applicable NOM, and non-conformity format with its resolution when applicable. This documentation typically covers the supplier homologation forms of companies with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Evidence is delivered via encrypted email or via the document management platform the client has enabled for its suppliers. When evidence requires original signature, we deliver in person with acknowledgment of receipt in CDMX, Guadalajara and Monterrey, and via courier with acknowledgment for the rest of the country.

On logistics and delivery

Delivery logistics is part of the quality system. When we deliver to a corporate site with access protocol, we align to the schedule, the access point, the receiving owner and the acknowledgment format the client requires. When we deliver at an event — convention, fair, roadshow, launch — the local owner in each city coordinates with the client the dock window, ramp, stand number and on-site consignee.

Tracking number and signed acknowledgment are part of the delivery. When the client requires scheduled delivery with on-site staff for unloading or warehouse placement, it is quoted separately based on number of pieces, days required and destination. Logistics coverage includes CDMX and metro area, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Querétaro, Puebla, León, Mérida, Tijuana, Cancún and other cities at additional cost.
