Q2 corporate events: shareholder assembly, Mother's Day and April trade fairs

The second quarter of the Mexican corporate calendar concentrates the ordinary annual shareholders' meeting (legal deadline 30 April under the LGSM), the Q1 results delivery to BMV and investors, Mother's Day on 10 May, Children's Day on 30 April, end-of-school-cycle graduations and the opening of the industrial fair season (EXPO Manufactura, EXPOPACK, ANTAD). Corp-Merch.MX produces the Q2 chain of events for corporates in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Querétaro and Puebla, including assembly material, 10 May gift, Children's Day kit for employees' children, results conference production and POP material for trade fairs. We work from 30 pieces with CFDI 4.0 invoicing to SAT, 16% VAT, deductible as an Industrial Relations or Training expense, with deduction support for IMMEX programmes and USMCA operations when the assembly coordinates regional operations.

Graduations, industrial fairs and Q2 offsites

The end of the school cycle generates a wave of university graduations delivered between May and June. The corporate that maintains the recognition programme for employees' children usually consolidates delivery in a single May event before families leave for vacation. The gift curation by family budget (MXN 1,500 to 8,000) includes a degree frame, Montblanc or Parker pen, travel luggage, fine-dining experience, and letter signed by the CEO. Delivery is documented with photography and uploaded to the corporate internal site.

Q2 industrial fairs concentrate the activity of manufacturing, retail and consumer corporates. EXPO Manufactura and EXPOPACK run in April in Guadalajara, ANTAD in May in Guadalajara, Expo Eléctrica in June in Mexico City. We handle stand production, POP material, gift for VIP clients (Citizen watch, Montblanc pen, premium ceramic mug), uniforms for the stand team and thank-you gift for stand visitors. Q2 offsites are typically organised in Bajío haciendas (Querétaro, San Luis Potosí) or beach destinations (Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Maya) before the extreme heat. For corporates with northern border operations, we invoice in USD and handle deduction under IMMEX programmes; for corporates with USMCA operations we coordinate gift shipping to regional offices.

Gift curation by range and occasion

The Q2 gift curation is built with the HR committee and Internal Communications, with three distinct lines: operational kit for Children's Day, premium-plus kit for Mother's Day, and executive gift for the shareholders' assembly and the results conference. For Children's Day kits for employees' children we run gifts from MXN 350 to 1,200: kid backpack, school supplies kit, board game, wooden toy. For Mother's Day kits for female employees we run gifts from MXN 1,800 to 12,000: premium fabric tote, silver Mexican jewellery, spa kit, preserved flower bouquet, personalised letter.

For shareholders and VIP attendees at the results conference we run gifts from MXN 8,000 to 120,000: Citizen or Longines watch, Montblanc pen, contemporary Mexican art piece (Kurimanzutto gallery, Zona Maco), travel luggage, fine-dining experience. The gift ships with no visible price to avoid comparisons between recipients and is documented with a personalised letter signed by the CEO or the board chair. Invoicing is issued through CFDI 4.0 to SAT with 16% VAT breakdown, deductible as an Industrial Relations or Training expense, with ISR withholding support when applicable.
