Buen Fin, corporate posadas and year-end close Q4 2026: the peak quarter on the Mexican commercial calendar

The fourth quarter (October, November, December) is the peak quarter of Mexican commerce. It concentrates Buen Fin (the mass discount event held mid-November, comparable to the US Black Friday), the corporate posadas with strategic clients in December, the corporate Christmas gift season and the fiscal year-end with the internal award for top sellers and distributors. For the Mexican company with B2B and B2C clients, Q4 represents between thirty and forty-five percent of annual sales in sectors like electronics, fashion, sports, home, toys, cosmetics, beverages and travel. At Corp-Merch.MX we produce Q4 merchandise with CFDI 4.0 invoicing, sixteen percent IVA, deductible as Marketing, Advertising or Commercial Relations expense.

Q4 operating rhythm in Mexico

The Mexican Q4 is the densest quarter of the commercial calendar. October opens with Buen Fin planning, which runs November 13 to 17, 2026 per the calendar issued by the Secretaría de Economía. Buen Fin invoicing concentrates between November 10 and 25. Corporate posadas run between December 1 and 20. The corporate Christmas gifting season opens the first week of December and extends through December 23. Fiscal year-end close concentrates between December 26 and 31, with the internal award for top sellers between December 5 and 15. Q4 invoicing normally closes between December 15 and 31 so the firm can accumulate spend in the fiscal year.

At Corp-Merch.MX we coordinate Q4 production with a master calendar, a single corporate lead and direct delivery to each city where the client operates. For corporates with clients in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Querétaro, Puebla, Mérida, Tijuana, León, Veracruz and Acapulco we run synchronized delivery via domestic courier. For corporates with clients in the United States or Canada we run international shipping under USMCA. For corporates under the IMMEX program on the northern border we run deduction when the gift ties to industrial client retention. Invoicing runs in pesos at the Banco de México rate of the day; for corporates with headquarters abroad we also invoice in USD or EUR with daily conversion.

Q4 curation by reason and seniority

Q4 curation depends on reason and seniority. For Buen Fin we run gifts between two hundred and fifty and fifty-five hundred pesos with staggered production and delivery to the logistics center. For corporate posadas we run gifts between fifteen hundred and fifteen thousand pesos with premium Mexican curation and posada packaging. For premium corporate Christmas gifting we run gifts between five thousand and eighty thousand pesos with premium packaging, personalized card and direct delivery. For year-end close and internal award we run gifts between five hundred and forty-five thousand pesos with scheduled production and staggered delivery.

The process starts with a session involving the Commercial, Trade Marketing, Communications, Training and Procurement committees, where we define the Q4 calendar, priority clients by tier, budget bands and delivery deadline. Q4 production normally starts in September to secure capacity in peak season. For corporates with several Q4 events we offer a quarterly package with volume discount and scheduled delivery. CFDI 4.0 invoicing, sixteen percent IVA, deductible as Marketing, Advertising, Commercial Relations or Commercial Incentives expense per the destination of the gift.
