Hot Sale, Fiestas Patrias and B2B back-to-school Q3 2026: the peak commercial quarter in Mexico

The third quarter (July, August, September) is the most intense quarter for the Mexican company with B2B and B2C clients, with three critical dates that move the commercial force: Hot Sale (the AMVO-run e-commerce event between late May and early June, with effects extending into July through logistics), back-to-school (which starts in August with institutional purchases of supplies, uniforms and technology) and Fiestas Patrias (September 15 and 16) which concentrate corporate hospitality with strategic clients before fiscal year-end. At Corp-Merch.MX we produce merchandise for these three dates with CFDI 4.0 invoicing, sixteen percent IVA, deductible as Marketing, Advertising or Commercial Relations expense.

Q3 operating rhythm in Mexico

The Mexican Q3 combines commercial intensity with summer slowdown. July opens with the residual logistics from Hot Sale which wraps in early June and extends into July for delivery and customer service. August is back-to-school month with purchases concentrated in the last week. September brings Fiestas Patrias (15 and 16) and the operational kick-off of Q4, with Buen Fin planning that starts to take shape between September 20 and 30. Q3 invoicing normally concentrates in August (back-to-school) and September (Fiestas Patrias), with effects on the fiscal second half.

At Corp-Merch.MX we coordinate Q3 production with a master calendar, a single corporate lead and direct delivery to each city where the client operates. For corporates with clients in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Querétaro, Puebla, Mérida, Tijuana, León, Veracruz and Acapulco we run synchronized delivery via domestic courier. For corporates with clients in the United States or Canada we run international shipping under USMCA. For corporates under the IMMEX program on the northern border we run deduction when the gift ties to industrial client retention. Invoicing runs in pesos at the Banco de México rate of the day; for corporates with headquarters abroad we also invoice in USD or EUR with daily conversion.

Q3 curation by reason and client sector

Q3 curation depends on reason and client sector. For Hot Sale we run gifts between two hundred and fifty and fifty-five hundred pesos with staggered production and delivery to the logistics center. For B2B back-to-school we run gifts between eight hundred and fifty and fifty-five hundred pesos with education co-branding and Training deductibility. For Fiestas Patrias we run gifts between fifteen hundred and twelve thousand pesos with premium Mexican curation (tequila, mezcal, talavera, alebrijes, chocolate). For Hot Sale close-out and Q4 kick-off we run gifts between five hundred and eighty-five hundred pesos with production for internal award.

The process starts with a session involving the Commercial, Trade Marketing, Communications, Training and Procurement committees, where we define the Q3 calendar, priority clients by tier, budget bands and delivery deadline. Q3 production normally starts in June to secure capacity in peak season. For corporates with several Q3 events we offer a quarterly package with volume discount and scheduled delivery. CFDI 4.0 invoicing, sixteen percent IVA, deductible as Marketing, Advertising, Commercial Relations or Training expense per the destination of the gift.
