Corporate hospitality and Mother's Day channel program Q2 2026: the middle of the Mexican fiscal year

The second quarter (April, May, June) is the mid-year hospitality quarter for the Mexican company with corporate clients. Q1 channel conventions close out and the Mother's Day window opens on May 10, the most important commercial date on the Mexican calendar outside Christmas and Buen Fin. Mid-year brand activations, working breakfasts with key accounts, quota follow-up lunches, top-seller incentive trips and channel loyalty events follow between April and June. At Corp-Merch.MX we produce the Q2 corporate hospitality merchandise with CFDI 4.0 invoicing, sixteen percent IVA, deductible as Commercial Relations, Advertising or Marketing expense.

Q2 operating rhythm in Mexico

The Mexican Q2 has a particular dynamic: the commercial force launched in January, Q1 quotas get measured in April, and the second half of Q2 concentrates on Mother's Day (May 10, Sunday in 2026) which moves the entire week of May 4 to 15. Brand activations and key-account hospitality typically run between April 21 and June 30. Top-seller incentive trips land between May 15 and June 30, after Mother's Day so they don't collide with the May 10 activations. Q2 invoicing normally closes between April 30 and June 15 so the firm can accumulate spend in the first half and deduct as Marketing, Advertising or Commercial Relations.

At Corp-Merch.MX we coordinate Q2 hospitality production with a master calendar, a single corporate lead and direct delivery to each city where the client operates. For corporates with clients in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Querétaro, Puebla, Mérida, Tijuana, León, Veracruz and Acapulco we run synchronized delivery via domestic courier. For corporates with clients in the United States or Canada we run international shipping under USMCA. For corporates under the IMMEX program on the northern border we run deduction when the gift ties to industrial client retention. Invoicing runs in pesos at the Banco de México rate of the day; for corporates with headquarters abroad we also invoice in USD or EUR with daily conversion.

Q2 curation by hospitality reason

Curation depends on reason and seniority. For corporate Mother's Day we run gifts between twelve hundred and fifty-five hundred pesos with female curation, May 10 packaging and personalized CEO card. For working breakfasts and lunches with key accounts we run gifts between fifteen hundred and eighty-five hundred pesos with printed menu and table markers when seated format. For top-seller incentive trips we run gifts between thirty-five hundred and forty-five thousand pesos by seniority with travel kit, recognition gifts and welcome gift at the hotel. For brand activations we run gifts between two hundred and fifty and fifteen hundred pesos with staggered production and venue delivery.

The process starts with a session involving the Commercial, Trade Marketing, Communications, Training and Procurement committees, where we define the Q2 calendar, priority clients by tier, budget bands and delivery deadline. Q2 production normally starts in March to secure capacity in peak season. For corporates with several Q2 events we offer a quarterly package with volume discount and scheduled delivery. CFDI 4.0 invoicing, sixteen percent IVA, deductible as Commercial Relations, Marketing or Advertising expense per the destination of the gift.
