Mother's Day, Hot Sale preview and brand activations B2C Q2 2026: the most emotional quarter on the commercial calendar

The second quarter concentrates the most important date on the Mexican commercial calendar for the end consumer: Mother's Day (May 10, 2026), comparable to Black Friday in sales volume and surpassing Valentine's Day and Father's Day in gift, restaurant, electronics, fashion, jewelry, beauty and experience consumption. This is followed by the Hot Sale kickoff (AMVO-organized event that runs between late May and early June in 2026) and the wedding season that concentrates social events between April and June. At Corp-Merch.MX we produce Q2 B2C merchandise with CFDI 4.0 invoicing, sixteen percent IVA, deductible as Advertising or Marketing expense.

Q2 2026 B2C commercial calendar

The Mexican Q2 concentrates three strong B2C commercial dates. Mother's Day (May 10) activates from the first week of April with motif kit and gift production. The critical chain point is the last week of April and the first of May, with point-of-sale delivery between May 1 and 8. Hot Sale (late May and early June) activates from the first week of May with influencer kit production and sales mechanisms. Wedding season distributes between April and June with peaks in May and June.

At Corp-Merch.MX we coordinate Q2 B2C merchandise production with a master calendar, a single client lead and direct delivery to each point of sale or venue. For clients with points of sale in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Querétaro, Puebla, Mérida, Tijuana, León, Veracruz and Acapulco we run synchronized delivery via domestic courier. For clients with direct-to-consumer sales in the United States or Canada we run international shipping under USMCA. For clients under the IMMEX program on the northern border we run deduction when merchandise ties to B2C campaigns. Invoicing runs in pesos at the Banco de México rate of the day; for clients with headquarters abroad we also invoice in USD or EUR with daily conversion.

Q2 B2C merchandise curation

Q2 B2C curation depends on reason and channel. For Mother's Day we run motif baskets for May 10 between four hundred and fifty and eighty-five hundred pesos by category, with point-of-sale POP material and employee kits. For Hot Sale we run influencer kits and buyer gifts between two hundred and fifty and fifty-five hundred pesos with staggered production. For wedding season we run gifts between three hundred and fifty and twenty-five thousand pesos by tier (guest, bride and groom, wedding sponsor). For brand activations we run attendee gifts between two hundred and fifty and fifteen hundred pesos with staggered production and venue delivery.

The process starts with a session involving the Commercial, Trade Marketing, Marketing, Communications and Procurement committees, where we define the Q2 B2C calendar, priority points of sale, channels (physical vs e-commerce), budget bands and delivery deadline. Q2 production normally starts between March 15 and 30 to secure capacity in peak season. For clients with several Q2 dates we offer a quarterly package with volume discount and scheduled delivery. CFDI 4.0 invoicing, sixteen percent IVA, deductible as Advertising or Marketing expense per the destination of the gift.
