Q1 2026 MX corporate event: FY26 fiscal kickoff under CFDI 4.0, IMMEX 2026 recertification, and the USMCA review window

Q1 on a Mexican corporate calendar is one synchronized operation: the FY26 fiscal kickoff under the finalized CFDI 4.0 invoicing standard, the annual IMMEX program recertification with the Secretaría de Economía, the USMCA rules-of-origin review window with U.S. and Canadian suppliers, and the kickoff of the sales, HR, and internal communications calendar. Production for this window must run November through January — IMMEX plants in Monterrey, Juárez, Tijuana, Saltillo, and San Luis Potosí shut the line the last week of December, and gift and apparel vendors typically reopen in the second week of January. We work with IMMEX corporates, Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive plants, maquiladoras, and services firms with operations across the Bajío and the northern border. Invoicing is issued under CFDI 4.0 to the SAT, with 16% IVA, and deductibility supported as Industrial Relations, Training, or Foreign Trade expense.

Q1 2026 production calendar

The Q1 program is built between October and December of the prior year. The last week of November closes the brief, the corporate identity palette, the names and shipping addresses list, and the gift selection per line. The first week of December releases the production order with national gift vendors (Mexico City, Guadalajara, Mérida, Monterrey) and international suppliers (watches, pens, electronics) that close for the year in mid-December. The last week of December handles inventory in the CDMX or Monterrey warehouse, depending on the corporate's primary site.

The first week of January reopens production with phased resumption: week 1 administrative staff, week 2 full production. For IMMEX corporates that reopen in the first week of January, we hold safety stock at the bonded warehouse in Juárez or Tijuana so the line is not waiting on gifts. For Bajío operations (Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Aguascalientes, León), we deliver direct to plant on a schedule coordinated with Industrial Safety. January invoicing issues on the last business day of December when the corporate closes fiscal year early, or on the first business day of January when the fiscal close runs in January — always under CFDI 4.0 with the Carta Porte 3.0 complement when freight crosses customs or changes state.

Gift curation and budget management

Q1 gift curation runs three spending lines. For fiscal compliance and IMMEX induction kits, gifts run $1,200 to $3,500 MXN per piece: hand-bound Mexican notebook, Cross or Parker pen, ceramic mug, encrypted USB, Klein Tools kit, Eastpak or Totto backpack in corporate colors. For USMCA supplier kits, gifts run $4,500 to $18,000 MXN: Tissot PRX or Longines watch, Cross Townsend pen, Tumi luggage, Tonalá or Oaxacan ceramic with artist card, Baja wine with personalized case.

For board kickoff and first-customer-of-the-year kits, gifts run $8,000 to $120,000 MXN: Pujol dining experience with pairing, premium tequila tasting with maestro tequilero, contemporary art piece from Kurimanzutto, Valle de Guadalupe weekend with boutique hotel stay, restricted corporate stock with three-year vesting. Curation is built jointly with Procurement and HR; gifts ship without visible pricing to avoid in-team comparison. For corporates with U.S. operations (San Diego, El Paso, Laredo, McAllen), we invoice in USD at the Banxico FIX of the day and support U.S.-side deductibility when the corporate has a U.S. accountant.

Delivery, privacy, and invoicing

Q1 kit delivery runs between the second week of January and the last week of March, depending on the production line. For fiscal and compliance kits, we deliver directly to the corporate with purchase order and signature of the Finance lead. For IMMEX kits, we deliver to the plant with purchase order, HR lead signature, and Industrial Safety lead signature. For USMCA kits, we deliver to the meeting hotel or to the corporate boardroom with signature of the Foreign Trade lead.

Personal data handling complies with the LFPDPPP: personnel names are used only for personalization of the piece and are purged from our systems 90 days after delivery. The collaborator can request earlier erasure through the privacy notice published on the corporate site. Invoicing is issued under CFDI 4.0 to the SAT with 16% IVA breakdown, ISR withholding when applicable to taxable gifts under Article 93 of the LISR, and deductibility supported as Industrial Relations, Training, or Foreign Trade expense depending on the kit line. For IMMEX corporates, we issue the foreign trade complement when applicable and retain supporting documentation for five years for any SAT or SE review.

Frequently asked questions

Can you handle different shipping addresses in one order?

Yes — for corporates with plants in several cities (for example Monterrey plus Juárez plus Tijuana, or CDMX plus Guadalajara plus Querétaro), we ship separately with a purchase order per destination and a responsible party signature per site. Invoicing is issued in a single CFDI 4.0 with separate lines per address and the Carta Porte 3.0 complement when freight crosses customs or changes state.

Do you bill in USD for U.S. suppliers?

Yes — we bill in USD for deliveries to El Paso, San Diego, Laredo, or McAllen at the Banxico FIX rate of the day. The gift is quoted in USD and the invoice ships in dollars when the recipient requests it; we support U.S.-side deductibility when the corporate has a U.S. accountant.

Can you deliver to the corporate January kickoff event?

Yes — we deliver direct to the event on a schedule coordinated with the maître and Internal Communications. We handle runs of up to 500 kits per event with camera logistics, mobile coat rack, stage presentation, applause handling, and official photography. The recording of the moment ships in an encrypted USB as part of the organizing committee kit.

Is Corp-Merch.MX an official partner of the SAT or the SE?

No. Corp-Merch.MX is an independent curatorial and production workshop for corporate kits on Q1, IMMEX, and USMCA events in Mexico. References to CFDI 4.0, IMMEX, USMCA, and Carta Porte 3.0 are regulatory and are mentioned for descriptive purposes only.
