Q1 2026 events across Mexico: the first quarter that defines the fiscal year

The first quarter of the Mexican corporate calendar (January, February, March) is the launch quarter. It opens with the national sales convention in the second half of January, runs through the prior-year results presentation, the annual shareholders meeting, the first quarterly board meeting, Valentine's Day (February 14), International Women's Day (March 8) and closes with Holy Week that lands March 29 to April 5 in 2026 and shifts offsites toward the Bajío and beach destinations. At Corp-Merch.MX we produce the Q1 event chain with CFDI 4.0 invoicing, sixteen percent IVA and deductibility as Industrial Relations, Training or Advertising expense.

Q1 2026 operating rhythm in Mexico

The Mexican Q1 has a particular dynamic that corporates must leverage: January is launch month, February is stabilization month (the commercial force has launched, KPIs are measured) and March is closing month with Holy Week shifting the school and labor calendar. The annual shareholders meeting of publicly listed Mexican firms concentrates between March 15 and April 30. March 8 (International Women's Day) lands on a Sunday in 2026, which gives flexibility for an internal event on the preceding Friday or following Monday. Holy Week closes the quarter and opens the door to offsites toward beach destinations or the Bajío.

At Corp-Merch.MX we coordinate the Q1 production chain with a master calendar, a single corporate coordinator and direct delivery to each city where operations run. For corporates operating in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Querétaro, Puebla, Mérida, Tijuana, León, Veracruz and Acapulco, we run synchronized delivery via domestic courier. For corporates with US or Canadian operations, international shipping under USMCA. For corporates under the IMMEX program on the northern border, deduction when merchandise ties to retention at the plant. Invoicing runs in pesos at the Banco de México rate of the day; for corporates with headquarters abroad we also invoice in USD or EUR with daily conversion.

Q1 curation by event reason

Q1 curation depends on the event reason. For the sales convention we run merchandise between twenty-five hundred and twenty-five thousand pesos based on seniority, with welcome kits and recognition gifts for top sellers. For the annual shareholders meeting we run executive merchandise between five thousand and eighty thousand pesos with premium packaging and bilingual documentation. For International Women's Day we run merchandise between eight hundred and fifty and thirty-five hundred pesos with female curation and March 8 packaging. For Holy Week we run operational merchandise between four hundred and fifteen hundred pesos for shift teams and travel merchandise between fifteen hundred and five thousand pesos for employees on vacation.

The process begins with the Q1 calendar definition in a session with the HR, Internal Communications, Training, Procurement and Marketing committees. We define event reason, attendees, budget bands and delivery deadline. Q1 production normally closes between November 30 of the prior year and December 15 to secure capacity in peak season. For corporates running multiple Q1 events we offer a quarterly package with volume discount and scheduled delivery. CFDI 4.0 invoicing, sixteen percent IVA, deductible as Industrial Relations, Training or Advertising expense per the destination of the merchandise.
