Durango Q2 2026 corporate event: the National Mezcal Fair, the mining mid-year close and the kick-off of the northern trade-show calendar

April, May and June are the quarter when mining, mezcal and logistics corporates based in Durango take advantage of the dry-season window and the National Mezcal Fair to host suppliers from Jalisco, Guanajuato and Aguascalientes, present H1 results to the board and open the second-half trade-show calendar. We produce the Q2 bundle — mid-season uniform, courtesy gift, encounter material, post-event kit — with delivery to the Durango capital or Gómez Palacio ready five to seven working days before the event, CFDI 4.0 invoicing with 16% IVA to the SAT and Carta Porte 3.0 when the shipment leaves our workshop in CDMX or Tijuana.

Why Q2 in Durango runs around mezcal and the mining mid-year

Durango corporates experience Q2 with the particularity that the northern dry season overlaps with the National Mezcal Fair, the most important commercial date of the year for producers of agave angustifolia and institutional buyers. The encounter works as the moment when the mining corporate — Industrias Peñoles with its Velardeña operation, Grupo México with its copper unit, Minera del Norte in the sierra region — hosts equipment suppliers, parts vendors and service providers that used the rain pause to visit the state. The mezcal showcase is mounted at the Casa de la Cultura courtyard or at restored haciendas in Nombre de Dios, Canatlán or along the highway 45 corridor toward Zacatecas.

A typical Durango Q2 bundle covers two to three days based at a corporate hotel in the capital, in Gómez Palacio —where the Comarca Lagunera runs as a dairy, metallurgical and logistics cluster— or at haciendas with event halls between the sierra municipalities, between eighty and two hundred attendees mixing suppliers, internal staff and corporate clients from the United States and Canada crossing the northern strip under USMCA. We work with groups invoicing under general regime and with groups backed by Canadian or US capital — First Majestic, Pan American Silver — that receive the charge in USD with payment complement at the Bank of Mexico exchange rate of the day. For manufacturers under IMMEX regime we handle the temporary-export pedimento with the corporate's customs broker when the encounter crosses the border toward Coahuila or Chihuahua.

Cost and operation of Durango Q2 encounter

The standard bundle per attendee starts at MXN 1,820 before IVA on 80-150 attendee runs. For 150-250 attendee runs it drops to MXN 1,640. General MOQ is 70 attendees; encounters with fewer than 70 attendees are quoted with an additional fixed charge for the complexity of per-level kitting.

We invoice CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA itemised to the SAT in national currency. For groups receiving the charge in dollars we issue the invoice in MXN at the Bank of Mexico exchange rate of the day and deliver the payment complement with the USD or CAD trail. For encounters crossing the border toward Coahuila or Chihuahua with material in temporary export we handle the corresponding pedimento with the group's customs broker. Q2 expenses are typically offset against the immediate deduction of the fiscal year under article 27 of the LISR.

Lead time is 25 to 35 working days from artwork approval to produce the full Durango Q2 bundle. For encounters with shorter lead time we offer express production at additional cost. Delivery runs five to seven working days before the event so the corporate can kit by attendee and distribute at the encounter.
