Chiapas Q2 2026 corporate event: the hospitality rally that takes the dry season and Semana Santa

April, May and June are the quarter when hotel corporates, tour operators, gated-community developers and agricultural groups based in Tapachula, Tonalá and the Chiapaneco coast close contracts for the dry season that overlaps Semana Santa, receive corporate clients from the United States, Canada and Guatemala, and build sales rallies that mix pre-sale work with the Soconusco cultural experience. We produce the rally bundle — sales team uniform, client gift, proposal material, post-visit kit — with delivery to Chiapas ready five to seven working days before the event, CFDI 4.0 invoicing with 16% IVA to the SAT and Carta Porte 3.0 when the shipment leaves our workshop in CDMX or Tijuana.

Why Tapachula in Q2 lives the rally, not the kickoff

For corporates of the Chiapaneco coast and the Soconusco, Q2 is the sales-rally quarter: the April-to-June dry season overlaps Semana Santa and the tourist flows arriving to the state by air from CDMX, Monterrey, Tijuana and from Guatemala through the Talismán and Ciudad Hidalgo border. Hotel groups, coffee and cocoa tour operators, gated-community developers facing the sea, and agricultural groups exporting mango, banana and organic coffee to the US and Europe need a week outside the operation to present the second-semester catalogue, close pre-sales with tour operators and corporate clients, and align the operations team with the signed catalogue. Q2 pressure is the mix: closing numbers in a week where the operation is at its peak.

The typical Chiapas Q2 rally bundle covers three to five days based at a corporate hotel in Tapachula or a coast resort in Tonalá, between forty and one hundred twenty participants — half internal sales team, half invited corporate clients. We work with groups invoicing under general regime and with foreign-capital groups receiving the charge in USD with payment complement at the Bank of Mexico exchange rate of the day. For manufacturers under IMMEX bringing gifts from the Tijuana workshop we handle the temporary-export pedimento with the corporate's customs broker. For rallies crossing the border into Guatemala we handle the pedimento with the SAT and coordination with the border customs broker.

Cost and operation of Chiapas Q2 rally

The standard bundle per participant starts at MXN 1,090 before IVA on 40-80 participant runs. For 80-120 participant runs it drops to MXN 940. General MOQ is 30 participants; rallies with fewer than 30 participants are quoted with an additional fixed charge for the complexity of per-salesperson kitting.

We invoice CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA itemised to the SAT in national currency. For rallies receiving corporate clients from the United States, Canada or Guatemala we run the payment complement in USD with the Bank of Mexico exchange rate of the day and the corresponding trail. For rallies crossing the border into Guatemala we handle the pedimento with the SAT and coordination with the border customs broker.

Lead time is 20 to 30 working days from artwork approval to produce the full Chiapas Q2 bundle. For rallies with shorter lead time we offer express production at additional cost. Delivery runs five to seven working days before the event so the corporate can kit by salesperson and distribute to each attendee at the host hotel.
