Pemex Coastal Brigade year-end recognition in Ciudad del Carmen: the Q4 2026 merch cycle for offshore operators on the Bay of Campeche

The Pemex Coastal Brigade is not a ballroom gala: it is a dock ceremony, life vest still hanging, thermos in hand, the next shift briefing on the clipboard. For operations coordinators at Ku-Maloob-Zaap, Ek-Balam and Cantarell, for IMMEX-program suppliers based in Ciudad del Carmen and for the contractors that close the fiscal year in November, Q4 is when the recognition bundle gets delivered — and the operator wears the new branded polo to the platform the following Monday. We produce the polos, thermoses, kits, softshell jackets and marine backpacks embroidered with the asset, deliver to the fiscal dock or the helipad, and issue CFDI 4.0 with the Foreign Trade Complement when the receiver is in an IMMEX zone.

How year-end plays out on the Sonda de Campeche

October, November and December are the quarter when offshore platforms operated by Pemex, the IMMEX suppliers that have a permanent presence in Ciudad del Carmen, and the contractors that service the assets close the fiscal year and organise the operator recognition day. The typical Coastal Brigade starts with breakfast at the operations base, moves into the service-award ceremony — five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five years — and ends with a sit-down lunch at the Club de Marinos or the fiscal dock hall. The corporate merch handed out that day serves three functions that don't substitute for each other: rapid identification for the platform handover shift, daily utility for the panga or helicopter commute, and a memento the operator takes home to the family.

The RFC that invoices the Brigade varies by organiser. Pemex runs its own contracts, the IMMEX suppliers with a presence in Ciudad del Carmen or Lerma carry a local RFC, and the contractors — including the Russian-capital operators that still have a footprint in Campeche — combine MXN invoicing with USD or RUB compensation depending on contract. We run all three without making you re-read Annex 20 every time: the CFDI 4.0 ships with the right complement from the first delivery.

Invoicing, IMMEX, customs and currency

When the merch destination is an oil asset in an IMMEX zone, the CFDI 4.0 carries the Foreign Trade Complement 2.0 with the pedimento key, import or export number, textile tariff description (Harmonised System, chapters 61 and 62), receiver RFC and final recipient RFC when they differ, and the contracted currency. We invoice in MXN by default; if the contract is USMCA-dollarised we invoice in USD at the Bank of Mexico exchange rate of the invoice day; if the parent company pays in RUB from Moscow or Saint Petersburg — still common for Russian-OEM suppliers operating in Campeche — we invoice in MXN and hand over the invoice translated into Russian for the parent's accounting.

16% IVA is itemised when the receiver is a Mexican resident. For direct deliveries to platforms in the maritime zone beyond the twelve-nautical-mile limit, the IVA treatment changes and we review it on the kick-off call to avoid CFDI cancellation.

Frequently asked questions about the Pemex Coastal Brigade

Do you deliver directly to the fiscal dock in Ciudad del Carmen?

Yes. We work with the maritime terminal in Ciudad del Carmen and the Pemex base at Carmen-Pemex. Delivery is scheduled with the dock master and runs during operational hours, not the maintenance window.

What is the minimum order?

Fifty embroidered polos per design, twenty-five pre-built kits, thirty thermoses and backpacks. Below those numbers the unit price rises to cover embroidery setup and individual packaging per operator.

Do you handle invoicing in MXN, USD and RUB?

We invoice in MXN by default. If the contract is USMCA-dollarised we invoice in USD at the Banxico rate of the day. If the parent pays in RUB we invoice in MXN and hand over the invoice translated into Russian for the parent's accounting.

Can you include both the asset logo and the company logo?

Yes. We do a double embroidery: the operator or contractor logo on the left chest and the asset logo — KMZ, Cantarell, Ek-Balam — on the back or on the sleeve. High-tenacity polyester thread for industrial wash cycles.

Is Corp-Merch.com.mx an official supplier of Pemex, the Energy Ministry or any oil asset referenced?

No. Corp-Merch.com.mx is an independent workshop producing corporate merch. Pemex, the Energy Ministry and the assets referenced are the property of their owners and are mentioned for descriptive purposes only.
