The Fiestas de San Fermín are one of the most recognisable cultural and bullfighting festivals on the Spanish calendar, held each year from 6 to 14 July in Pamplona, capital of the Chartered Community of Navarra. The calendar is fixed: the festival opens with the Chupinazo from the Town Hall balcony at noon on 6 July and closes with the «¡Pobre de mí» at midnight on 14 July. Each morning from 7 to 14 July, six fighting bulls and six steers run approximately 850–875 metres of the Casco Viejo between the Santo Domingo corrals and the Plaza de Toros, in a two-to-four-minute chase followed by thousands of runners. Afternoons from 7 to 14 July host bullfights in the Plaza de Toros, with capacity for over 19,000 spectators, as part of the Feria del Toro.

For Mexican corporate sponsors, brand PR teams with a Navarra or international footprint and hospitality teams supporting an official sponsor or a commercial stand at Plaza del Castillo or Plaza Consistorial, the festival is a serious investment of time — but the booth merch needs to read serious, lightweight and bilingual so it works in a city where Spanish and Basque are official languages, English is the international press lingua franca, and the right signal is respect for the bullfighting tradition, the San Fermín procession of 7 July and the family acts of Día Infantil.

Mexican teams tend to split the booth or participation programme across four allocations: uniform apparel sized for sponsors, in-house PR and hospitality crew rotating across the nine days; high-volume giveaways tuned for Plaza del Castillo, Plaza de Toros and the official merch points in the Casco Viejo; press kits reserved for interviews with international media covering the festival; and partner gifts reserved for conversations with local allies and second-tier sponsors that produce a real next step. Treating these as separate lots — with separate artwork queues, separate packaging and separate shipping — is what separates a presence that runs clean from one that is hunting for boxes in a San Juan neighbourhood warehouse on day ten.

For Mexican PR teams shipping kit from CDMX, Guadalajara or a Miami routing hub, the freight question is the one that decides everything. A consolidated shipment with the booth backline, usually via a freight forwarder on a maritime route to Bilbao or Barcelona with final road transport to Pamplona, is the cheapest option but ties your delivery window to the ferry schedule and the Navarra high-season hotel calendar. Most Mexican programmes we work with end up splitting: apparel and core giveaways consolidated, press and partner boxes flown under the brand's own purchase order so a named concierge at a Casco Viejo hotel, Hotel Tres Reyes or Gran Hotel La Perla can sign for them. That second leg is where the CFDI 4.0 plus complemento de pagos come into play; we generate both on the Mexican leg so your customs broker has clean paperwork whether the shipment exits through TOLUCA, AICM or a US gateway bound for the Iberian Peninsula.

Mexican fiscal and intellectual-property compliance on San Fermín merch is strict and the visible brand has to reflect it. The artwork that reaches Plaza del Castillo or the Plaza de Toros must respect the festival's image rights, the local restrictions on distributing printed materials at the bullring, and the regulatory guidelines of both the operator's home jurisdiction and the target market. We work your artwork against the relevant regulatory guidelines and against the official sponsor manual, not just the organiser's compliance guide. That pre-clearance is what keeps your sponsor legal team comfortable when the booth goes up on 5 July.

For Mexican PR teams that run concurrent European operations with a partner in Bilbao, Madrid or Barcelona, we can coordinate the European leg with a local fulfilment partner while keeping the master shipment and the master CFDI 4.0 in Mexico. That dual production is what has allowed Mexican PR teams to take advantage of Bilbao or Madrid workshops for fast in-week repeats, while reserving the heavy manufacturing for the Mexican hub with its scale economy and clean fiscal traceability. The IVA 16% line stays clean and your vendor list stays single-source.

Production and venue logistics

Confirm artwork, Pantone references, quantities, packaging and the named on-site recipient at Plaza del Castillo, your Pamplona hotel or the sponsor space before production. Venue delivery rules, dock windows and accreditations must be checked against the current organiser manual and the Plaza de Toros guidelines; the venue should never be treated as an unrestricted parcel address. Teams routing kit from Mexico via a US hub should add a transit buffer for customs documentation and clearance, and a Pamplona or Bilbao hotel concierge buffer often makes sense alongside direct venue drop-off for hand-carry overflow.

Planning timeline

8–10 weeks (the window is shorter than at other events because the calendar is fixed): lock the item list, quantities, Pantone references and the split between Mexican-produced apparel and third-party assembled kits.

4–5 weeks: approve a physical or production-grade sample for each line, including brand-name embroidery and recipient-labelled packaging.

2–3 weeks: finish production, quality control and recipient labelling, with CFDI 4.0 and complemento de pagos generated for the Mexican leg.

Final week: reconfirm the Pamplona delivery window, named consignee, on-site contact and the overland leg from a Bilbao or Madrid warehouse to your Casco Viejo hotel concierge.

Frequently asked questions

When should we place the order for San Fermín Pamplona 2026?

Six to eight weeks is the safe window when production runs in Mexico and the cross-border freight leg runs to Pamplona. San Fermín runs on a fixed calendar (6-14 July), so the planning clock is clear and the window can be tighter once stock and suppliers are confirmed in writing.

Can the order go straight to the sponsor space in Pamplona?

Only when the organiser or sponsor space has confirmed the freight slot, dock access and named consignee. Many Mexican teams split the shipment between the sponsor space and a named Casco Viejo hotel concierge who can sign for the press boxes and overflow.

Can we route kit via a US warehouse or through Bilbao or Madrid?

Yes. We coordinate apparel produced in Mexico with finishing and fulfilment run through Laredo or McAllen, keeping the master purchase order and the master CFDI 4.0 in Mexico. The final European leg runs through Bilbao or Madrid with a local partner; the IVA 16% line stays clean and the vendor list stays single-source.

Is Corp-Merch a partner or official supplier of San Fermín?

No. Corp-Merch is an independent external supplier that helps participating companies prepare their own merch. It does not organise, sponsor or represent the Ayuntamiento de Pamplona or the Plaza de Toros.
