5 years · Mid-tier seniority recognition

Silver final bundle: the moment when the employee is already part of the DNA

The 5-year mark is half the typical path of the Mexican corporate career. The employee who arrived in their first formal job has already understood the operation, developed professionally, been promoted once or twice, and built an internal network. The recognition at 5 years says: "you are already part of what we are, not a new employee". The silver final bundle is built with curated mid-tier pieces that get used at the office or at home: engraved crystal, premium leather notebook, office set, roller pen. Each piece has its origin documented and is delivered at a formal event with the area director's speech.

Why 5 years is the keystone of retention

Labour turnover in Mexico has a documented pattern: the first year is the highest turnover (the new employee tests whether they like the company); the third year is the second turnover (the employee seeks growth the company doesn't offer); the fifth year is the consolidation point (the employee decides whether to stay long-term or look for the next level). Corporates that invest in 5-year recognition typically see sustained turnover in the 8 to 12% annual range, while those that don't see 18 to 25%.

The silver final bundle is designed so the piece at 5 years is the hinge moment between "you are new" and "you are a veteran". The piece is premium enough for the employee to understand that the corporate recognises them, everyday enough for them to use it in their daily life, and curated enough for the piece to stay with them for the next 10 or 15 years as a reminder of the moment.

Recognition is typically delivered at an annual event the corporate organises for all employees who completed 5 years in the fiscal year. The event can be a formal dinner, recognition breakfast, all-staff meeting, or dedicated event. Coordination runs with the client's HR area and with the direct managers to align the speech with individual performance.

For corporates with high volume of employees in this tier (200 or more per year), we run series production with catalog pieces and individual engraving. For corporates with lower volume (10 to 50 per year), we run deeper curation with case-by-case selected pieces. The CFDI 4.0 invoice is issued at event close with full deductibility and, when applicable, the complemento de pagos per the agreed calendar.

Coordination with the recognition event

The 5-year seniority-recognition event is typically organised once per year with all employees who completed the range in the fiscal year. Coordination with the event requires alignment of the piece with the speech, the event format, and the venue.

The event format defines how the piece is delivered. When the event is an all-staff meeting, the piece is delivered at the end of the meeting with public recognition from the area director. When the event is a working breakfast, the piece is delivered at the start of the breakfast with a short speech. When the event is a one-on-one meeting with the direct manager, the piece is delivered by hand at the employee's office.

The venue defines delivery logistics. In a corporate's own office we coordinate with the protocol area for early safeguarding and hand delivery. When the employee is at a remote site, we coordinate in advance with the site manager for delivery at their office. For employees in home office, we ship to the address with tracked carrier and identity verification.

The speech is drafted with support from the client's HR area and the employee's direct manager. It typically mentions the employee's current role, their contribution during the 5 years, and their professional development. The piece arrives in the recipient's hand at the moment of the final applause, so the visual moment closes with the piece in hand.

What the silver final bundle does NOT include

To be honest about the offering, here is what the silver final bundle does not include and that the client can find in the gold or VIP bundle. It does not include curated experience (dinner, travel, activity): for those pieces, the right tier is 5+ years. It does not include Taxco silver jewellery: for pieces with heritage value, the right tier is 10+ years. It does not include aged wine with numbered label: for pieces with wine-heritage value, the right tier is 20+ years.

It does not include specialised technical-use pieces (softshell jacket for plant operations, kit with NOM-006): those pieces belong to the manufacturing tech bundle. It does not include pieces for IMMEX or USMCA: those pieces are in the compliance tech bundle. It does not include pieces for fairs or exhibitions: those pieces are in the spring or summer bundle.

The silver final bundle focuses exclusively on mid-tier seniority recognition with curated mid-range pieces. The consistency at this level builds the base so that the subsequent recognitions (10, 15, 20 years) have the impact the corporate expects.

Pricing, MOQ and timelines

Pricing in MXN before 16% IVA. The silver 5-year kit (4 pieces) starts at $3,200 MXN per unit from MOQ 10. In series of 50 or more pieces, the cost drops to $2,500 MXN. For series of 200 or more pieces, we run a corporate rate with additional discount. The individual piece (engraved crystal without kit) starts at $1,800 MXN from MOQ 25.

Production times are 18 to 22 business days for kits with individual engraving. For series above 100 pieces, the timeline extends to 25 to 30 business days with scheduling 5 to 6 weeks ahead of the event. Last-minute urgent orders for additional pieces process in 12 to 15 business days with a 35% surcharge.

For corporates with a recurring program (annual 5-year recognition), we run annual contracts with preferential pricing, advance curation of pieces with the artisans (Tonalá, León, artisanal chocolate), and safety stock for higher-rotation pieces. The CFDI 4.0 invoice is issued at event close with full deductibility.

FAQ — silver final bundle

What is the silver final bundle MOQ?

10 pieces for the full 4-piece kit. 25 pieces for the individual piece (engraved crystal). For corporates with fewer than 10 pieces per year, we run a shared calendar with other clients in the same tier to access the series rate. Single-unit pieces are not offered.

Can you deliver to the employee's home address?

Yes. For employees in home office or at a remote site without a face-to-face event, we deliver to the address with premium courier (DHL Express or FedEx Priority) and identity verification. Confirmation reaches the HR area with photo of the delivered piece and recipient name. The area director's letter is included in a sealed envelope inside the box.

Does the artisanal chocolate comply with NOM-251?

Yes. All chocolate in our premium catalogue complies with NOM-251 for food contact, with current sanitary registration and at least 6 months shelf life at delivery. The chocolate is delivered in packaging that preserves temperature and stays in cold chain when the destination requires interstate shipping.

Can the roller pen be engraved with the employee's name?

Yes. Laser engraving of the employee's name is done on the metal pen body 3 to 5 additional days ahead of the production timeline. For series above 100 pens, we run an exclusive workshop. The engraving is discreet (on the back of the body) and doesn't affect the use or aesthetics of the piece.

Can you mix silver pieces with gold pieces?

Yes. For clients that have employees at different tiers (5, 10, 15, 20 years) at the same event, we run mixed bundles with pieces differentiated by tier. The invoice is segregated per employee with 16% IVA broken out and delivery is consolidated at the same event. Coordination with the protocol area happens in advance to align each piece's delivery with the corresponding speech.

Can you also run the full event?

Not directly, but we have alliances with corporate-event operators in CDMX, Guadalajara and Monterrey that can handle venue, catering, protocol, photography and video of the event. When the client requires it, we introduce them as subcontractors coordinated with us to keep coherence between the piece and the event.
