Corp 90 final bundle: the kit your Mexican energy corporation hands a technician the moment they climb a high-voltage tower in their first week

A Mexican energy corporation — CFE with authorization for generation and electricity distribution, CFE Calificados with authorization for the wholesale electricity market, CFE Distribución with authorization for the regulated market, a natural-gas producer with CRE authorization, an LP-gas marketer with SENER authorization, a renewables developer with authorization for wind and solar parks, a substation with authorization for transmission, a duct operator with authorization from CENAGAS — needs to hand uniforms, manuals and tangible tools to the technician who climbs a high-voltage tower, runs the first smart meter or signs off the first natural-gas inspection in their first week. The corp 90 final bundle includes dielectric PPE with hard hat, gloves and boots, a high-voltage tool kit, a CRE/SENER manual with regulatory procedures, a portable smart meter for inspection, and an electrical-safety manual with NOM-001-SEDE. We issue the CFDI 4.0 invoice under clave G03 as an energy investment, fully deductible under article 27 of the LISR.

Why energy operations without a physical kit is an electrical accident waiting to happen

The Ley de la Industria Eléctrica, the Ley de Hidrocarburos, the Ley de Transición Energética, the Ley del Sistema de Ahorro para el Retiro and NOM-001-SEDE-2012 (electrical installations) regulate the operation of the energy sector in Mexico. The Comisión Reguladora de Energía (CRE), the Secretaría de Energía (SENER), the Comisión Nacional de Hidrocarburos (CNH), the Empresa Productiva Subsidiaria (CFE), the Centro Nacional de Control del Gas Natural (CENAGAS), the Agencia de Seguridad, Energía y Ambiente (ASEA) and the STPS run ordinary and extraordinary visits to verify that the corporation complies with operating authorization, electrical-safety norms, regulatory procedures and PPE delivery. The Ley Federal del Trabajo (LFT) articles 132 fraction XVI and 504 establish the patrón's PPE-delivery obligation and the STPS inspector's authority to verify.

The Mexican energy corporation spends on average MXN 8,400 to 22,800 per technician on retail-purchased PPE and tools that fall short of norms, without a CRE/SENER manual, without a smart meter, without a high-voltage tool kit. The corp 90 final bundle turns that into a standardized kit with an invoice, certified PPE and manuals: the dielectric PPE protects against electrocution, the tool kit speeds up tower work, the CRE/SENER manual points to the first regulatory inspection, the portable smart meter documents the first reading, the NOM-001-SEDE electrical-safety manual protects the first connection.

For energy corporations with active safety programmes (chamber partnerships such as CANAME, AME, CNIEE, CIGRE México) the kit ships with the project calendar and a QR linking to the in-house Safety and Hygiene platform. The People area pulls a dashboard with completion per project, kit-delivery rate and accident/incident rate. The invoice is broken out from operations and reported as an energy investment.

For corporations with several legal entities and operations across multiple states (CDMX, Estado de México, Jalisco, Nuevo León, Puebla, Veracruz, Tabasco, Campeche, Tamaulipas) the kit ships in a single order with batches segregated by RFC and per-entity invoicing. We ship with Castores, Tres Guerras or Paquetexpress — 3 to 5 business days to any city, with tracking and delivery confirmation. For deliveries to remote areas with no standard-courier coverage (typical of mountain high-voltage towers) we run scheduled delivery to corporate collection centres.

How we invoice the energy kit under the LISR and CRE/SENER

The corp 90 final bundle runs on two billing models. The first is single-order per project with CFDI 4.0 issued at month-end and per-line description, deductible as an energy expense. The second is an annual contract at a fixed unit price with delivery-driven invoicing each quarter, with the pagos complement at 30 days when the corporate runs credit lines.

The CFDI Uso depends on the client tax regime and the receiving area. For Régimen General with Safety and Hygiene or People area, we bill under clave G03 (general expenses) as a PPE-and-electrical-safety investment. For RESICO we bill under the same clave because the kit is treated as a human-capital investment. We validate with the People area before the first delivery to lock down the expense account and the right clave.

The 16% IVA breaks out per line in the CFDI 4.0. For deliveries to remote areas with no fiscal domicile we coordinate delivery at the project collection centre with carta porte and attach the safety officer's acknowledgement. For cross-border deliveries into binational projects we apply 0% IVA with the Comercio Exterior complement and the pedimento.

Cancellation or correction of the CFDI is processed within 24 hours of the request. For model or spec changes after delivery we handle replacement at additional charge with a fresh CFDI for the extra piece. Kits that go undelivered because the technician drops out before day one are invoiced only when Safety and Hygiene signed the order at least five business days in advance.

Sizing, colours and stock curve

The hard hat is universal with ratchet adjustment 53 to 63 cm. The gloves run in 9, 10 and 11 with dielectric classification. The boots run in 24 to 32 cm. The smart meter is universal with hard case. For corporations with substation operations we offer a kit with dielectric face shield and insulating blanket at a surcharge.

The hard hat and shirt colours are locked in on the first order and held stable to build brand identity. The most common Mexican energy-corporation combinations: white hard hat plus navy shirt for administrative and supervisory profiles; yellow hard hat plus Oxford grey shirt for operations and maintenance profiles; blue hard hat plus orange shirt for rescue and emergency profiles; green hard hat plus red shirt for contractors and subcontractors.

For energy corporations with more than 30 field technicians per project we hold rotating stock in our warehouses with monthly replenishment. The corporate pays only when the technician's start date is confirmed — no minimum volume. Premium logistics run on Castores or Tres Guerras with 3 to 5 business day delivery to any city. For remote-area deliveries we run project collection centres with weekly scheduling.

Pricing, MOQ and timelines

Pricing in MXN before 16% IVA. The corp 90 final bundle starts at MXN 9,890 per kit from an MOQ of 5. At 30 kits or more the unit drops to MXN 8,890. On annual contracts of more than 100 technicians the unit drops to MXN 7,890 with safety stock reserved in our CDMX, Monterrey and Villahermosa warehouses. The CFDI 4.0 invoice is issued at month-end with full deductibility as an energy investment.

Production time is 12 to 15 business days for kits with personalization. Runs of more than 30 kits need 18 to 22 business days with scheduling six weeks ahead of the technician's start date. Delivery goes to the project collection centre with Safety and Hygiene sign-off or directly to the technician with tracked shipping.

For corporations with several legal entities and centralized Safety and Hygiene, we run a consolidated kit with per-entity breakdown in a single invoice, lines split by RFC. For remote-project deliveries the kit is assembled at the closest regional warehouse with 24 to 48 hour delivery and tracked carta porte.
