Corp package 66 final: the kit a Mexican corporate hands out to the employee who moved from the cubicle to the kitchen table in a week

The Mexican corporate that takes hybrid work seriously knows that the employee who returned to home office after the pandemic is still working with the laptop on the kitchen table, without support, without adequate light, without active breaks, without wrist protection. NOM-036-STPS-2018 regulates safety and health conditions for work with display screens. The Corp package 66 final ships an adjustable laptop stand with ventilation, a vertical mouse with carpal tunnel rest, a reclining footrest with anti-slip surface, a daylight lamp with adjustable temperature, a printed active breaks and ergonomics guide, and a mouse pad with wrist support. CFDI 4.0 is issued under key G03 on the ergonomics investment line, fully deductible under article 27 of the LISR.

Why home office fails when there is no workstation

NOM-036-STPS-2018 establishes safety and health conditions for work with display screens. The Mexican corporate that returned to hybrid work after 2020 knows that the employee who works 8 hours a day in front of a laptop without ergonomic support ends up with dorsalgia, cervicalgia, carpal tunnel syndrome and visual fatigue. The Mexican Social Security Institute reports that musculoskeletal disorders are the leading cause of work absenteeism in service corporates in Mexico.

The Mexican corporate spends on average between USD 130 and 320 per employee on office furniture that is concentrated at the main headquarters and leaves the home office employee with the kitchen table. The Corp package 66 final rationalises that spend and ships a standardised kit that the employee installs at home: the stand positions the screen at eye level, the vertical mouse prevents wrist pronation, the footrest stabilises posture, the daylight lamp reduces visual fatigue, the active breaks guide breaks the sedentary cycle. The invoice is segregated from general expenses and reported as ergonomics investment.

For corporates with active ergonomics programmes (Ergonomics Committee, Job Study, Active Breaks Brigades, Physiotherapy Clinic alliances), the kit is delivered with the programme calendar and QR code for registration on the internal tracking platform. The occupational health area receives a dashboard with compliance by area, percentage of employees with assigned kit, and musculoskeletal disorder incidence rate. The invoice is segregated from HR spend and reported as human capital investment.

For corporates with multiple legal entities and nationwide operations, the kit is delivered in a single order with lots segregated by RFC and independent invoicing per entity. Premium logistics with DHL or Estafeta deliver in 3 to 5 business days to any state in the country, with tracking and delivery confirmation. For free zone deliveries (typical of IMMEX with employees in Baja California or Sonora), VAT is calculated at 0% rate and the Free Zone complement is attached with the SAT authorisation number.

How the ergonomics kit is invoiced under NOM-036

The Corp package 66 final operates in two invoicing modes. The first is closed monthly order with CFDI 4.0 issued at month-end with line-by-line description for deduction as ergonomics spend. The second is annual contract with fixed unit price and invoice against actual delivery each quarter, with payment complement at 30 days when the corporate operates on credit lines.

CFDI Use depends on the client tax regime and the receiving area. For the General Regime with occupational health or ergonomics committee, the invoice is issued under G03 (general expenses) on the ergonomics investment line. For RESICO, the same key is used because the kit counts as human capital investment. Validation with the accounting area happens before the first batch to confirm the specific expense account and the correct key.

VAT 16% is broken down line by line on CFDI 4.0. For free zone deliveries (typical of IMMEX with employees in Baja California, Sonora or Tamaulipas), VAT is calculated at 0% rate and the Free Zone complement is attached with the SAT authorisation number. For interstate deliveries with Carta Porte, the Carta Porte 3.0 complement is attached with carrier data and documented origin-destination.

CFDI cancellation or correction is processed within 24 hours of the request. For model or specification changes after the kit has been delivered, we handle replacement with additional charge and new CFDI for the additional piece. A kit not delivered because the employee left before day one is invoiced only if the order confirmation was signed by the occupational health area at least 5 business days in advance.

Sizes, colours and stock curve

The stand is universal with adjustment for 11" to 17" laptops. The mouse is universal in standard size for medium to large hand. The footrest is universal with 100 kg load capacity. The lamp is universal with flexible arm. For employees with small hand (usually women in administrative profiles), we offer a reduced vertical mouse version with surcharge and additional production time.

Stand, mouse and lamp colours are selected on the first order and kept stable to build brand identity. Common combinations in Mexican corporates: graphite stand + black mouse + black footrest + white lamp for administrative and financial profiles; silver stand + graphite mouse + black footrest + white lamp for technical and operational profiles; graphite stand + white mouse + black footrest + white lamp for commercial and customer service profiles.

For corporates with more than 100 home office employees, we run a rotating warehouse stock with monthly replenishment. The corporate pays for the kit only when assignment to the employee is confirmed, with no minimum volume commitment. Premium logistics with DHL or Estafeta deliver in 3 to 5 business days to any state in the country. For corporates with multiple legal entities, lots are segregated by RFC with independent invoicing per entity.

Pricing, MOQ and lead times

Prices in MXN before VAT 16%. The Corp package 66 final starts at MXN 2,890 per unit from MOQ 20. In quarterly batches of 60 kits or more, the cost drops to MXN 2,460. In annual contracts of more than 800 kits with quarterly deliveries, the cost drops to MXN 2,090 with reserved safety stock in our CDMX and Guadalajara warehouses. CFDI 4.0 is issued at month-end with full deductibility under ergonomics investment spend.

Production lead times are 15 to 18 business days for kits with personalisation. Batches of more than 60 kits require 22 to 25 business days with scheduling 6 weeks before the first day of the quarter. Delivery is made to the corporate office with occupational health acknowledgement or directly to the employee's home with tracked shipping.

For corporates with IMMEX free zone operations, the kit is assembled in Tijuana or Monterrey with cross-border delivery in 24 to 48 hours and carta porte with 0% VAT. For corporates with multiple legal entities and centralised ergonomics committee, we run consolidated kit with breakdown per entity on a single invoice with RFC-separated lines.

FAQ — Corp package 66 final

Is the stand compatible with 17" laptops?

Yes. The stand is designed for 11" to 17" laptops with maximum weight of 3.5 kg. The height adjusts in 7 levels between 5 and 25 cm, allowing alignment of the top of the screen with the seated employee's eye line. The tilt angle adjusts 0 to 45 degrees to suit the preferred position. Passive ventilation with aluminium grid dissipates heat during prolonged use. The anti-slip base with silicone pads prevents the laptop from sliding while typing.

Does the vertical mouse prevent carpal tunnel syndrome?

Yes. The vertical mouse keeps the wrist in a neutral position at a 57-degree angle, reducing forearm pronation and pressure on the median nerve. Clinical studies published by the Mayo Clinic and the NIH indicate that the vertical mouse reduces up to 30% the symptoms of carpal tunnel in users working more than 4 hours daily in front of the computer. The memory foam gel palm base supports the heel of the hand during prolonged use.

Does the daylight lamp reduce visual fatigue?

Yes. The lamp with adjustable colour temperature allows configuring illumination between 2700K (warm, for visual rest) and 6500K (daylight, for detailed work). The adjustable intensity from 200 to 1000 lux adapts to ambient illumination. The flicker-free LED panel reduces visual fatigue per recommendations of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. The timer with automatic shutdown prevents prolonged use without breaks.

Can you include a printed active breaks guide?

Yes. For active breaks programmes, we include a printed guide on FSC certified paper with 48 colour pages, 14×21 cm format, sewn binding, with 5-minute exercises for neck, shoulders, back, wrists and eyes. The guide includes QR code to demonstration videos and weekly break calendar to place on the desktop. It is invoiced separately with its own line on CFDI 4.0 under the ergonomics and occupational health line.

Is the footrest adjustable for different heights?

Yes. The footrest has adjustable height in 3 levels (8, 12 and 16 cm) and reclining angle 0 to 30 degrees to adapt to the employee height and the type of chair used. The textured surface with massage channels stimulates foot circulation during prolonged use. The reinforced steel structure supports up to 100 kg of load. The anti-slip base with silicone pads prevents the footrest from sliding during use.

Do you offer a mouse pad with wrist support?

Yes. For active carpal tunnel prevention programmes, we include a mouse pad with 25×30 cm memory foam gel, natural rubber anti-slip base, soft fabric surface that improves mouse gliding, and ergonomic wrist support. The mouse pad is delivered with protective cover and usage guide. It is invoiced separately with its own line on CFDI 4.0 under the ergonomic accessories line.
