Corp 53 final bundle: the three kits the Mexican corporate uses to reward client tenure

The Mexican corporate running a three-tier loyalty programme knows that the client hitting five years is the one who comes back to buy in year six, not the one who got the biggest cart discount. The corp 53 final bundle ships three versions of the same kit scaled by tier: Bronze with urban backpack with laptop sleeve, 500 ml thermos and A5 planner; Silver with premium 16" laptop backpack, 750 ml stainless thermos, hand-stitched planner and rechargeable portable LED lamp; Gold with leather backpack with metal hardware, 750 ml titanium thermos, leather planner with gold stamping, desk LED lamp and leather travel case. The CFDI 4.0 invoice goes out per tier with key G03 (general expenses) under the loyalty programme line and is 100% deductible under the general regime.

Why the client kit says more than the discount

The Mexican corporate competing with a $500 MXN gift card for the client that hits year one ends up with clients that rotate to the competitor offering $750. The corporate that ships a tangible kit with the corporate brand and an object the client uses daily ends with 2.4× retention per benchmarks from loyalty programmes in retail, banking and telco. The corp 53 final bundle materialises that retention across three tiers.

The Bronze tier ships to the client hitting their first anniversary with the corporate. The urban backpack with 14" laptop sleeve is functional, the 500 ml thermos carries the corporate logo engraving and the A5 planner has the client's name stamped. It's the entry kit, good enough that the client uses it daily and light enough that the corporate ships it to thousands of clients per year without breaking budget.

The Silver tier ships to the client hitting three years or who has spent above the Silver threshold defined by the corporate. The premium backpack with 16" laptop compartment has reinforced stitching and metal hardware, the 750 ml stainless thermos has the client's name and logo engraving, the hand-stitched planner has a reconstituted leather cover and the rechargeable portable LED lamp has 400 lumens with 8-hour autonomy. It's the client-consolidation kit, premium enough that the client uses it daily and functional enough that the corporate ships it to hundreds of clients per year.

The Gold tier ships to the client hitting five years or who has spent above the Gold threshold defined by the corporate. The leather backpack with metal hardware is functional for travel, the 750 ml titanium thermos has premium engraving of the client's name and logo, the leather planner with gold stamping is a gift object, the desk LED lamp has aluminium base and the presentation is in a leather travel case. It's the premium client retention kit, exclusive enough that the client displays it and premium enough that the corporate ships it only to dozens of clients per year.

How the loyalty programme invoices under LISR

The corp 53 final bundle runs in two invoicing modes. The first is per annual event with CFDI 4.0 issued at quarter close and description per tier and line. The second is annual programme with fixed unit price per tier invoiced against actual quarterly delivery, with payment complement at 30 days.

USO CFDI depends on the client's tax regime and the area receiving the expense. For Régimen General with marketing or loyalty area, it invoices on key P01 (advertising) or G03 (general expenses) depending on reporting. For RESICO, it invoices on key G03 because the kit counts as retention investment. Accounting validates ahead of the first batch to confirm the right key and the specific expense account.

The 16% IVA breaks out line by line on the CFDI 4.0. For free-zone deliveries (typical of IMMEX corporates with clients in Baja California, Sonora or Tamaulipas), IVA is calculated at 0% and the Free Zone complement attaches with the SAT authorisation number. For deliveries with Carta Porte across state lines, the Carta Porte 3.0 complement attaches with the premium carrier's data (DHL, FedEx).

Cancellation or correction of the CFDI runs within 24 hours of the request. Address or size changes after delivery are handled by replacement with an additional charge and a new CFDI for the additional piece. A kit not delivered because of client cancellation before the anniversary is invoiced only when order confirmation was signed by the loyalty area at least 5 business days in advance.

Client curve and programme logistics

The typical curve for a Mexican corporate loyalty programme with 5,000 active clients is: Bronze 70% (3,500 clients), Silver 25% (1,250 clients), Gold 5% (250 clients). For corporates with more consolidated programmes, the distribution flips: Bronze 40%, Silver 40%, Gold 20%. The annual invoice multiplies clients per tier by the tier's unit cost.

For corporates with multi-channel loyalty programmes (banking, retail, telco, insurance), the tiers ship at different moments: Bronze at first product anniversary, Silver at third product anniversary, Gold at fifth product anniversary. Logistics runs with premium courier (DHL, FedEx, Estafeta) and delivery to client home with signed acknowledgement and delivery photo.

For corporates with US or Canadian clients under USMCA, all three tiers ship with temporary customs entry for client personal effects and temporary export letter. The Mexican invoice goes out in MXN at the day's exchange rate and is paired with an American invoice when the corporate requires it for their US books.

For corporates with award events (annual gala, board dinner, incentive trip), Silver and Gold kits ship at the event with personalised presentation and client photo with the kit. The invoice segregates from event expense for correct deductibility.

Pricing, MOQ and timelines

Pricing in MXN before 16% IVA. Bronze starts at $580 MXN per unit from MOQ 100. Silver starts at $1,420 MXN from MOQ 50. Gold starts at $3,890 MXN from MOQ 25. In annual programmes of 1,000+ Bronze, 500+ Silver, 100+ Gold, the unit costs drop to $480, $1,180 and $3,240 respectively with safety stock reserved at our premium CDMX and Monterrey warehouses. The CFDI 4.0 invoice is issued at quarter close with full deductibility under loyalty expense.

Production runs 20 to 25 business days for kits with embroidery, stamping and personalised engraving. Series above 500 kits require 30 to 35 business days with an 8-week lead time before the anniversary date. Premium delivery runs with DHL or FedEx and delivery in 3 to 5 business days to any state in the country with signed acknowledgement from the recipient.

For IMMEX corporates in the free zone, the kits are assembled in Tijuana or Monterrey with cross-border delivery in 24 to 48 hours and Carta Porte at 0% IVA. For clients in rural zones without premium courier coverage, we run our own truck delivery with signed acknowledgement from the recipient.

FAQ — corp 53 final bundle

Can you customise the kit with the client's name on each tier?

Yes. Each kit is personalised with the client name and corporate logo. Bronze: name in planner stamping and thermos engraving. Silver: name in gold planner stamping, thermos engraving and metal plate on backpack. Gold: name in debossed gold planner stamping, premium thermos engraving and metal plate on travel case. The client list confirmation closes 4 weeks before delivery to guarantee production time.

What if the client cancels the relationship with the corporate before the anniversary?

The kit is considered delivered and logged in the programme. No return applies. The corporate decides whether to give the kit to the client as a parting gesture (common practice) or to the next client hitting the tier. The original invoice remains as support for the deductible expense. For clients cancelled before the anniversary, the kit invoices only if production had already started.

Can you deliver in free zone at 0% IVA?

Yes. For IMMEX corporates in Baja California, Sonora or Tamaulipas with clients in the free zone, we deliver with 0% IVA CFDI and the Free Zone complement attached. The Carta Porte is issued with origin at our Tijuana or Matamoros warehouse and destination at the client's home. For clients based in the free zone, all three tiers ship with 0% and a fiscal address complement.

Do the backpack and thermos meet cabin baggage rules?

Yes. The backpacks across the three tiers measure between 38 × 28 × 14 cm (Bronze) and 45 × 32 × 18 cm (Gold), all inside the IATA carry-on standard. The thermos sizes 500 ml (Bronze), 750 ml (Silver) and 750 ml (Gold) are TSA-compliant for liquids in carry-on. For clients flying business to the US, Canada or Europe for anniversary, the kit ships without restrictions. The CFDI 4.0 includes technical description for per-diem deductibility.

Can you include a tier-personalised object by corporate industry?

Yes. For industry-specific corporates, we include a tier-personalised object: banking (premium card holder with RFID for Bronze, leather wallet for Silver, passport case for Gold); retail (extended-validity gift card for Bronze, personalised gift card for Silver, VIP concierge membership for Gold); telco (Qi wireless charger for Bronze, premium power bank for Silver, mobile 5G connectivity kit for Gold). Each object invoices separately with its own line on the CFDI 4.0.

Do you handle loyalty kits for corporate clients (B2B) and not just consumers (B2C)?

Yes. For B2B programmes, the three tiers ship to the corporate client's main contact with a corporate business card and letter from the programme's CEO. The tiers ship to the client's office with acknowledgement from the account responsible party and delivery photo for programme reporting. The invoice goes out under the client corporate's RFC with technical description per tier.
