Corp Pack 16 final: the kit that carries a new brand through its first month

When a Mexican corporate rolls out a sub-brand, a product line, or a full relaunch, the first thirty days decide whether the name sticks on the shelf or dissolves into the back catalogue. Corp Pack 16 final is what the marketing team hands to influencers, journalists, key buyers, and its own sales force so that everyone tells the same story from day one. Peruvian-cotton oversized t-shirt with water-based discharge print, raw canvas tote with two-color screen print, 600 ml stainless-steel tumbler with deep laser engraving, 24-page brand booklet with saddle-stitch binding, and a 16 GB USB-C drive carrying the launch video. The invoice is issued as CFDI 4.0 with USO G03 (general expense) or P01 (advertising) depending on the client's tax profile.

Why a launch without a physical kit fades between day 30 and day 60

Mexican corporates spend on average 38% of their launch budget on digital media and only 4% on physical pieces that the team and allies can hold in their hands. That ratio is upside-down: a person who receives the t-shirt and the tote at home talks about the brand for eleven more days than a person who only saw an ad on a screen. Corp Pack 16 final corrects that ratio without reallocating the budget, because it sits inside the launch line item and is invoiced as deductible marketing expense.

The kit lands between five and three days before the launch event (press conference, pop-up store, distributor convention) and we hold an 8% backup lot for replacements and last-minute additions. When the launch is regional (Bajío, North, Southeast), the kit is delivered to the client's warehouse with inter-state Carta Porte and consolidated by zone. When the launch is digital-first with physical pieces only for the top 100 of the database, the kit is shipped via courier with tracked delivery and individual confirmation.

For corporates with USMCA presence in the United States or Canada, the kit is assembled in our Tijuana warehouse and crosses through Otay with a simplified pedimento. The 16% IVA is paid at the border and credited by the importer. For corporates with a US vendor alliance, the kit is delivered to Laredo or McAllen with cross-border Carta Porte and the foreign trade complement when applicable.

Brand identity is respected to the letter: every piece is built from the original files (AI, PDF/X, full identity package) handed over by the marketing team and cross-checked against the brand manual before production runs. No typefaces are swapped, no colors are adjusted without written approval, no fabric suppliers are changed without notice. The client signs a screen color proof and a physical batch proof before the final production run starts.

How the launch is invoiced and deducted

Corp Pack 16 final is invoiced as a CFDI 4.0 issued at the close of the production batch. The USO CFDI key depends on the client's tax regime and on the receiving department. For marketing under a concentrated advertising budget, it is billed as P01. For commercial teams under sales-tools expense, it is billed as G03. The deduction is processed under the general regime of law with 16% creditable IVA.

For RESICO clients launching a brand from a single legal entity, the CFDI is issued to that entity with the same key and documented as operating expense for the period. For multi-entity corporates, one CFDI is issued per entity with separate lines per RFC and a monthly consolidated view. The XML and PDF are emailed to the accounting team within 24 hours of physical delivery.

When the launch requires temporary import of pieces (typical for international brand collaborations), the kit is assembled in the free zone and delivered with a temporary import pedimento. The domestic invoice is issued at the 0% IVA rate and the foreign trade complement is attached. The corporate recovers the creditable VAT in its monthly SAT filing without further entries.

For deliveries to corporate executives across multiple sites (Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara), an inter-state Carta Porte is issued with the carrier data, total weight and declared value. The Carta Porte 3.0 complement is attached to the CFDI when the shipment crosses state lines or exceeds 50 km. CFDI cancellation due to brief change is processed within 24 hours with motivo 02 (error with no SAT relation).

Sizes, colors and brand brief

The size curve for a launch is built from the confirmed recipient list. For internal teams (sales force, marketing, executives), the typical curve is CH 10%, M 25%, G 30%, XG 20%, XGG 10%, with backup stock for extreme sizes. For journalists and influencers, personal size is requested via online form and confirmed ten days before production.

T-shirt and tote colors are approved through a screen proof and a physical proof on the actual fabric. Corporates with strict brand manuals work with a closed palette of three to five colors replicated without variation. Corporates with flexible launches accept trend tones and sign off extra proofs. Screen printing uses high-opacity plastisol for colors on dark textiles.

The brand brief is delivered with editable files (Illustrator, InDesign, complete font package), Pantone Coated and RGB palette, and isotype application guide. The color proof is signed by the marketing director or brand owner before production. Any change after the proof is signed is quoted as a brief change and carries an additional charge with a new CFDI for the difference.

For launches that include a physical product (typical for consumer sub-brands with samples), the kit is assembled with the product packed at the center and the brand pieces around it. A card with a QR code to review the product online and a link to the brand site is enclosed. The included-product logistics is quoted separately with its own foreign trade complement when it crosses a border.

Pricing, MOQ and lead times

Prices in MXN before 16% IVA. Corp Pack 16 final starts at MXN 2,500 per unit from MOQ 30. At 100+ kits the price drops to MXN 2,150. At 500+ kits for a multi-site launch the price drops to MXN 1,890 with reserved safety stock and a dedicated schedule. CFDI 4.0 is issued at batch close with full deductibility under marketing expense.

Production lead time is 18 to 22 business days for kits with water-based discharge and custom screen print. Runs above 200 kits need 25 to 30 business days with a schedule locked five weeks before the launch event. Delivery is made 5 to 3 days before the event at the client's warehouse or directly at the venue (Centro Banamex, Expo Guadalajara, WTC Mexico City, boutique hotel) with the marketing team's sign-off.

For launches targeting journalists and influencers, individual tracked courier is offered with delivery confirmation by email. The client's marketing team receives an Excel file with date, time, recipient name and delivery status. Standard courier is Estafeta or DHL depending on destination and urgency. Regional launches with delivery to the North (Monterrey, Tijuana, Chihuahua) ship via consolidated truck with 24 to 48 hour delivery and inter-state Carta Porte.

For cross-border launches under USMCA, the kit crosses through Tijuana or Nuevo Laredo with a simplified pedimento. Delivery in the United States takes 3 to 5 business days via UPS or FedEx. The Mexican CFDI 4.0 and the US invoice are issued in parallel.

FAQ — Corp Pack 16 final

Can you match exact colors from our brand manual?

Yes. We work with Pantone Coated and Pantone Solid Uncoated to reproduce exact colors. The color proof is signed on screen over the actual fabric and archived as a reference for future runs. For critical colors (logo, isotype, primary palette) we recommend embroidery or laser engraving that doesn't require a screen proof because the result depends on the substrate, not the ink.

Can you ship the kit individually before the event?

Yes. For launches with a database of journalists, influencers or top buyers, we ship the kit via individual tracked courier with delivery confirmation and an emailed report. The client's marketing team receives the Excel file with date, time, recipient name and delivery status. Standard courier is Estafeta or DHL depending on destination and urgency.

How do you invoice when physical product is included in the kit?

The physical product is invoiced separately as part of the launch (key P01 for advertising or G03 for commercial expense) and the kit is invoiced as merchandising. Both lines appear on the same CFDI 4.0 with detailed description. For imported product, the kit is assembled in the free zone and delivered with a temporary import pedimento and attached foreign trade complement.

Can you handle the kit for a team in the US or Canada?

Yes. For corporates operating under USMCA in Texas, California, Arizona or Quebec, we assemble the kit in Tijuana and cross through Otay or Laredo. The 16% IVA is paid at the border and the corporate recovers it on its return. US delivery takes 3 to 5 business days via UPS or FedEx. The Mexican CFDI 4.0 and the US invoice are issued in parallel.

Can we change pieces of the kit after the first order?

Yes. For recurring runs (typical for launches with quarterly waves), we keep a frozen brief file and allow piece changes with an additional charge. The corporate signs a change order and a new CFDI is issued for the difference. Sizes and colors are adjusted at no charge within the same curve. New pieces require a production proof and approval.

Does the t-shirt and the tote meet export regulations?

Yes. The Peruvian cotton t-shirt meets USMCA rules of origin for duty-free export to the United States and Canada. The raw canvas tote meets the same rule. The commercial invoice includes an origin declaration and the USMCA certificate is attached when the client requires it. For exports to Europe or Asia, a non-preferential certificate of origin is issued and REACH and OEKO-TEX regulations are met per country.
