The ESG report and the institutional investor pressure

The Mexican corporate that is publicly listed (BMV, NYSE, NASDAQ) or has institutional investors faces growing pressure to report ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) indicators. The reference frameworks are GRI, SASB, TCFD and the ratings from MSCI, Sustainalytics, S&P Global, ISS ESG, Moody's, Fitch Sustainability. The ESG rating directly impacts the cost of capital: an upgrade from BBB to A can reduce the green bond interest rate by 30 to 80 basis points.

The corp 128 final bundle covers the environmental indicators of the ESG report with recycled, traceable and compensated materials. The RPET backpack (recycled polyester from plastic bottles) reduces virgin-oil consumption; the recyclable steel thermos reduces single-use plastic consumption; the FSC paper notebook comes from responsibly managed certified forests; the carbon footprint certificate documents compensation via verified carbon credits (VCS, Gold Standard, CAR).

The fiscal regime of the ESG kit operates under Article 27 LISR as welfare and training expense with 100% deductibility. The CFDI 4.0 invoice carries 16% national IVA and is filed with the ESG record as supporting documentation of sustainability spend. For corporates with border-zone operations, 8% IVA with Border Zone complement.

The corporate with formal ESG programme and annual report runs scheduled deliveries per quarter or semester. Delivery goes to employee home or corporate office with specialised carriers. Invoicing consolidates per quarter or semester with per-piece and per-site breakdown. The carbon footprint certificate is filed with the ESG record and reported in the annual Sustainability Report.

How the ESG kit is invoiced

The corp 128 final bundle invoices under USO CFDI D02 when booked as training expense, or G03 when booked as sustainability-welfare expense. The invoice carries 16% national IVA with sustainability-expense deductibility. For corporates with border-zone operations, 8% IVA with Border Zone complement. The invoice breaks down by piece with unit value, broken-out IVA and total.

The Mexican corporate deducts the ESG kit as welfare and personnel-development expense under Article 27 LISR. For corporates with formal ESG reporting, the spend is reported in the environmental investment section of the Sustainability Report. The CFDI 4.0 invoice serves as supporting documentation of the spend reported to MSCI, Sustainalytics, S&P Global, ISS ESG and other raters.

For corporates with multinational operations, the ESG kit ships within national territory with MXN invoicing. The complementary donation to the compensation project (when applicable) operates under the deductible donation regime of Article 27 LISR with SAT-registered donation certificate. The corporate books the spend as environmental investment and the compensation as mitigation.

ESG calendar and annual-report logistics

The Mexican corporate with formal ESG programme runs an annual report delivered to investors between March and June of the following year. The ESG kit ships to employees between October and December of the current year so the spend counts in the fiscal year and gets reported in the Sustainability Report. Delivery goes to employee home or corporate office.

The corporate with 100 to 5,000 employees runs scheduled deliveries per quarter or semester. Delivery to central office runs with 1–3 day transit with specialised carriers, while delivery to regional office runs with 2–5 day transit. The invoice goes per delivery with per-piece and per-quarter breakdown per site.

Production runs 18 to 22 business days for series of 50 kits or more, with 25 to 30 days for series above 1,000 kits. For urgent deliveries (ESG audit with short notice), we run a minimum batch of 30 kits with 10–12 business days production time. Urgent delivery operates with extra charge for reduced production time and express carrier.

FAQ — corp 128 final bundle

What is the environmental certification of the materials?

The backpack carries GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification guaranteeing the recycled origin of RPET and chain-of-custody traceability. The thermos uses 18/8 stainless steel with 50% post-consumer recycled. The notebook carries FSC-certified paper with 30% recycled fibres and 100% recycled cover. Each piece bears the corresponding visible seal. Certification documentation is filed with the corporate ESG record.

How is the kit's carbon footprint compensated?

The kit's carbon footprint is compensated via verified carbon credits under VCS (Verified Carbon Standard) or Gold Standard standards. Compensation is documented with blockchain-public verification QR code, descriptive letter of the project (reforestation in Jalisco, renewable energy in Oaxaca, methane capture in Guanajuato) and credit serial number. The corporate files the certificate with the annual Sustainability Report.

Does the kit work for MSCI and Sustainalytics reports?

Yes. The corp 128 final bundle serves as supporting documentation of the environmental spend reported in the annual Sustainability Report, which feeds the MSCI, Sustainalytics, S&P Global, ISS ESG, Moody's, Fitch Sustainability, Vigeo Eiris ratings. The CFDI 4.0 invoice with per-piece breakdown, the GRS/FSC certifications, and the carbon compensation certificate form the documentation the raters validate.

Can you include donation to environmental project?

Yes. For corporates with robust environmental policy, we run complementary donation to reforestation, renewable energy, methane capture or forest conservation projects. The donation operates under the deductible donation regime of Article 27 LISR with SAT-registered constancia. For corporates preferring a specific project (e.g. Sierra Norte de Oaxaca reforestation), we run directed donations.

Do you provide per-unit footprint reports?

Yes. Each kit piece carries an individual carbon footprint report in kgCO2e: backpack (3.2 kgCO2e), thermos (1.8 kgCO2e), notebook (0.4 kgCO2e), packaging (0.3 kgCO2e). The report is filed with the compensation certificate and reported in the Sustainability Report. For corporates with Net Zero target, the per-unit report allows calculating total programme footprint and compensating it precisely.
