Corp 1 final bundle: the welcome the new hire actually remembers

The corp 1 final bundle solves what most Mexican corporates struggle to do well: get one single box, before the first Monday, containing everything a new hire needs to show up branded and equipped. An embroidered polo with their actual name and department, a 15.6" laptop backpack, a 500 ml stainless thermos, a hand-stitched executive notebook, a PVC badge with RFID technology, and a letter signed by the managing director. The CFDI 4.0 invoice goes out per monthly cohort, fully deductible under the corporate training and personnel development line item.

Why onboarding sets the retention curve before day 90

The Mexican corporate losing people inside the first 90 days burns, on average, between 1.8 and 2.4 months of gross salary per failed hire in recruiting, training and ramp-up cost. Early attrition doesn't get fixed with better HR filters: it gets fixed with a first week that communicates belonging. The polo embroidered with the new hire's name — not generic, not just the corporate logo, the person's actual name — turns the new arrival into someone visible inside the organisation.

Corp 1 final lands between the Thursday before the Monday start and 8 AM on that Monday itself, packed in a wax-sealed welcome envelope with a personal card from the direct manager. Delivery happens at the employee's home (where HR policy allows) or at the main-site reception with a signed acknowledgement. Each kit carries an internal serial number that cross-references with HR's database to verify delivery.

For corporates running multiple legal entities, we batch segregated stock per entity with independent invoicing. Size and colour curve consolidation runs 6 weeks ahead for monthly series of 20 kits or less, and 8 weeks ahead for mass onboarding of more than 100 hires. The kit also bundles a digital welcome letter the internal-communications team sends by email, including a video from the CEO when one exists.

The corp 1 final cost is deductible as training expense under the general tax regime, provided the CFDI 4.0 specifies USO CFDI G03 (general expenses) or D01 (medical fees when paired with the entry check-up). Supporting documentation includes the delivery acknowledgement signed by the employee and photographic record when internal policy requires it.

How recurring onboarding gets invoiced

The corp 1 final bundle runs in two invoicing modes. The first is closed monthly order: when the corporate confirms 15 to 25 starters for the following month, we issue a consolidated CFDI 4.0 dated the last day of the month before the start. The second is annual contract with fixed unit price, invoiced against actual monthly delivery, with payment complement at 30 days when applicable.

USO CFDI depends on the tax regime of the receiving entity. For Régimen General, the invoice carries key G03 (general expenses) when the kit ships as part of induction. For RESICO, the same key applies because the employee is registered with IMSS from day one. The accounting area is validated ahead of the first batch to confirm the right key and the specific expense account.

The 16% IVA is broken out line by line on the CFDI 4.0. For deliveries to free zones (the typical case of IMMEX corporates in Baja California, Tamaulipas or Sonora), IVA is calculated at 0% and the Free Zone complement is attached with the SAT authorisation number. For deliveries with Carta Porte across state lines (typical case of corporates running plants in multiple states), the Carta Porte 3.0 complement is attached with the carrier's data.

Cancellation or correction of the CFDI runs within 24 hours of the request. Size changes after delivery are handled by replacement with an additional charge and a new CFDI for the additional piece. A kit not delivered because of a withdrawal before the first day is invoiced only when order confirmation was signed by HR at least 5 business days in advance.

Sizes, colours and stock curves

The typical Mexican corporate operates with four to six standard sizes per gender and a monthly volume that justifies holding a reserved stock curve. The recommended curve for 20 monthly hires is: XS 10%, S 30%, M 35%, L 15%, XL 5%, with L and XL on backup stock for replacements. For operations with mandatory uniform (manufacturing, logistics, retail), the curve concentrates on M, L and XL.

Base polo and backpack colours get selected on the first order and stay stable to build brand identity. The most common combinations for Mexican corporates are: Oxford grey polo + black backpack + black thermos for administrative and finance profiles; navy blue polo + grey backpack + blue thermos for technical and operations profiles; white polo + blue backpack + white thermos for commercial and customer service profiles.

For corporates with high turnover (call centres, seasonal retail, hospitality), we run rotating stock at our warehouse with biweekly replenishment. The corporate pays for the kit only when the hire is confirmed, with no minimum monthly volume commitment. Logistics runs with standard courier (Estafeta, Paquetexpress) and delivery in 3 to 5 business days to any state in the country.

Pricing, MOQ and timelines

Pricing in MXN before 16% IVA. The corp 1 final bundle starts at $2,180 MXN per unit from MOQ 20. In monthly series of 50 kits or more, the unit cost drops to $1,890 MXN. In annual contracts above 600 kits with monthly deliveries, the unit cost drops to $1,720 MXN with safety stock reserved at our CDMX and Guadalajara warehouses. The CFDI 4.0 invoice is issued at month close with full deductibility under training expense.

Production runs 12 to 15 business days for kits with personalised embroidery. Series above 100 kits require 18 to 22 business days with a 4-week lead time ahead of the first Monday start. Home delivery (where applicable) goes out 1 to 3 days before the start with tracked courier. Corporate-site delivery goes out the Friday before the Monday start between 9:00 and 14:00 with HR acknowledgement.

For IMMEX corporates in free zones, the kit is assembled in Tijuana or Monterrey with cross-border delivery in 24 to 48 hours and a Carta Porte at 0% IVA. For corporates with multiple legal entities and centralised HR, we run a consolidated kit with breakdown per entity on one invoice with separate lines per RFC.

FAQ — corp 1 final bundle

Can you embroider each employee's name on a different polo?

Yes. Each polo is embroidered individually with the employee's name and department. We receive the list in Excel format with columns for name, department, size and RFC when required for invoicing. Embroidery goes on the right chest with consistent typography. The list is locked 7 business days before delivery to guarantee production time.

What happens if the employee quits before day one?

If the corporate cancels 5 or more business days in advance, no kit is invoiced. If cancellation is less than 5 days out, 50% of the kit is invoiced because production is already in motion. If the corporate confirms withdrawal after kit delivery, no return applies and the full kit is invoiced. Size mismatch replacement runs at preferential pricing.

Can you deliver in free zone at 0% IVA?

Yes. For IMMEX corporates in Baja California, Sonora or Tamaulipas, we deliver into free zone with 0% IVA CFDI and the Free Zone complement attached. The Carta Porte is issued with origin at our Tijuana warehouse and destination at the client's plant. For IMMEX with home delivery inside free zone, 0% stays in place with a residential address complement.

Do the backpack and thermos meet cabin-baggage rules?

Yes. The backpack measures 42 × 28 × 14 cm, inside IATA carry-on standards. The thermos is 500 ml and TSA-compliant for liquids in carry-on. For employees crossing into the US or Canada for training, the full kit ships without restrictions. The CFDI 4.0 includes technical description for per-diem deductibility when documented as part of the training programme.

Can you add operational uniforms to the kit?

Yes. For operational profiles we stack on industrial shirt with reflective tape, heavy denim pants, helmet with embroidered logo, UV-protection safety glasses and gloves per area. The full operational kit is quoted separately with NOM-004-STPS and NOM-017-STPS compliance. Invoicing is segregated from the administrative kit for correct deductibility.

Do you handle kits for fully remote employees?

Yes. For corporates with home-office policy, we ship the kit to the employee's home with tracked courier and delivery confirmation. Packaging is reinforced to survive transport undamaged. For employees in cities without express-courier coverage, we route via DHL or FedEx with an additional charge. The digital welcome letter replaces in-office delivery.
