Americas Package: continental coverage from Mexico to Patagonia

The Americas package consolidates the USMCA corridor with the LATam corridor: Mexico (origin of the purchase order, SAT invoicing, CFDI 4.0 compliance), United States and Canada (USMCA corridor with bilateral customs compliance, USMCA certificate of origin, local invoicing with EIN/TIN or BN), Colombia, Peru and Chile (LATam corridor with DIAN, SUNAT and SII compliance). The continental consolidation lowers the unit cost between 12 and 22 percent versus separate purchases, and allows compliance with local regulations of each country through a single operating interlocutor and a single delivery calendar.

USMCA: bilateral customs compliance

USMCA (United States, Mexico and Canada Agreement) establishes rules of origin for products that cross the border with preferential tariffs. The Americas package handles USMCA compliance with a certified customs broker in Monterrey and Tijuana: USMCA certificate of origin issuance when the corporate requires it to access preferential tariffs, declaration of the rules of origin met by the supplier, compliance with rule 1.9.16 of the General Rules of Foreign Trade for 2026, and piece-by-piece traceability for IMMEX deliveries crossing the border.

SAT invoicing is issued with the foreign trade complement and Carta Porte 3.0 from the plant to the border crossing. The applicable VAT rate is 16% for Mexican national deliveries, 0% for exports with pedimento. For deliveries in the United States, the IRS and CBP authorities require the recipient's EIN, certificate of origin when applicable, and compliance with import regulations (Section 321 de minimis for pieces under USD $800, formal entry for larger pieces). For deliveries in Canada, the CRA and CBSA require the recipient's BN, compliance with the Tariff Act and the USMCA Agreement.

Simultaneous LATam fiscal compliance

The Americas package operates with simultaneous fiscal compliance in six countries: Mexico (SAT/CFDI 4.0), United States (IRS/USA), Canada (CRA/Canada), Colombia (DIAN), Peru (SUNAT) and Chile (SII). The consolidation of the continental purchase order allows negotiating plant capacity with suppliers in a single negotiation, scheduling consolidated shipments from the Mexican ports of Manzanillo and Lázaro Cárdenas to the South Pacific and from the ports of Veracruz and Altamira to the Caribbean and South Atlantic, and issuing fiscal invoicing in six different currencies (MXN, USD, CAD, COP, PEN, CLP) with simultaneous compliance.

The fiscal compliance per country operates per local regulations: in Mexico, CFDI 4.0 with foreign trade complement and Carta Porte 3.0. In the United States, recipient EIN and USMCA certificate of origin. In Canada, BN and Tariff Act compliance. In Colombia, DIAN with NIT and CUFE. In Peru, SUNAT with RUC and detracciones. In Chile, SII with RUT and IVA retención. Corp-Merch.MX coordinates with customs agents and accounting firms in each country for simultaneous compliance.

Run sizes, MOQ and continental production window

The Americas package operates with consolidated runs per country and a 120 day production window before the first delivery (the longest window of all packages due to continental logistics complexity). For continental onboarding with runs from 50 units per country, the window closes 60 days before the first hire in each country (typically 1 October for 1 January hires). For continental commercial with runs from 100 units per country, the window closes 45 days before the regional launch.

The unit cost varies by piece, run and country. As Americas budget reference: continental onboarding box from MXN $1,600 before VAT in runs of 50 per country; continental sales force kit from MXN $1,200 before VAT in runs of 50 per country; continental councillor kit from MXN $3,200 before VAT in runs of 12 per country; continental institutional uniform from MXN $640 before VAT in runs of 100 per country. Invoicing is issued in six local currencies with simultaneous fiscal compliance.
